I got up at four as always. I took my shower, got dressed, and kissed Steve before I went down to the kitchen. As I looked around the corner I saw Cassie pulling out the pressure cookers. I sit down at the bar for a minute as she says,"Good morning Luna I have a warm plate for you here."
"Thank You Cassie you take such good care of us. Once I eat I will help get things out and reorganized."
"Your okay Luna this is easy work. Besides you need to rest up so you can help me with the real work. I also have six other women who would like us to teach them how to can They see what we have been doing and want to take some of the burden off of us."
"Well I'm glad they are willing to learn. How big of and order did Steve put in, do you know? Do you think we can double it before the boys pick it up?"
"Actually the Alpha told them to set up a canning pick up like we first made when you had the original vision and he had them do a double order of the soup and sides pick up so I think we have enough for the pack houses and the six who are willing to learn. They are also bringing some supplies of their own."
"Well this is a good start. I know you can do these kinds of things on your own and without my help but for as long as I can move around I want to be involved as much as possible."
"I appreciate that Luna but if I see you getting tired I will have you sit out. You can give instructions without over doing it. Do you understand me young lady?"
"Yes aunty I understand. I will always listen to what you have to say. Now can I help a little? I don't want you to do it all."
"Fine come get this one for me and put it over there."
As I take the pan from her I turn to put it on the counter and the vision I get is so strong I am actually thrown. As the pan hits the floor I hear Cassie scream for Steve both out loud and through the link. Steve comes flying down the stairs as he grabs the paper he takes my weight from Cassie and helps me to the floor. Rather than draw I just let the vision go by. Once it's over I look up at Cassie but lean into Steve.
"From this day forward I will be supervising the canning sessions and Summer is not allowed to participate. You will tell her that all pregnant mothers to be are not allowed to participate. One of the women coming in today is expecting, you will tell her the same thing. This work has officially become to much for a pregnant woman. They can watch you but that is it. Neither new mother has their own equipment so they come to us. If they give you supplies then we can make then whatever they want but they do not participate. Hell Steve call the girls and ask them to double everything. All six women will get there own run from today but neither expectant mother will participate. They can take notes but nothing else."
Steve helps me up and helps me to the stool.
"Will you tell me who the other mother is so I can warn her mate please."
"I'm not sure of her name I can show her to you when they come in."
"That works for me. Will you tell William or do you want me to?"
"We can both do it. You won't do it as their alpha. But as their brother in law, That will help out. And don't forget to call the girls about doubling the order. If they are willing to learn I know they care so I am willing to give them extra."
"Okay, I will make the call now. Next I'm going to go shower call me when they get here."
At nine the guys pulled up in the truck, Steve and six other men helped unload things. By 9:30 all six women come to the pack house. Their mates bring in their supplies. Steve comes in and I point out the new mother and her mate. Steve tells me her name is June and his name is David. I also look over to Cassie and point her out to her. So she knows who to make sit out.
Once everything is inside and the women get all of their stuff added the guys leave. Steve walks out with David and warns him about the possible loss of the baby. He tells David that I saw it in a vision and the way to make sure it doesn't happen is to make sure she doesn't lift anything or do any excess anything. She should be one step above bed rest. David accepts it and heads out to his work. William and Summer comes in five minutes later. As Summer sits down William ask Steve for help.
"So Steve I refuse to let Summer carry anything would you help me bring the stuff over please?"
"I would be happy to. Hey your sister wanted to tell you something as well."
As the three of us go over to his house William says," Okay tell me what you saw."
"Make sure Summer does not lift anything heavy. She needs to keep work to a minimum. She wants to learn canning today but if she does she looses the baby. She can not lift the cases of anything. Also because she wants to learn but can't we will send over more than what you send over. Don't worry we have it covered. I won't let anything happen to them. Also I have something for you. I need you to relax and just absorb what I give you. Then you need to practice with it. Until she has this baby you need to do as much as you can."
I take both of his hands in mine and for about thirty seconds we glow together then I release his hands. Steve moves next to me for support but everything is fine. They we go get the stuff from the house.
Once we get back to the pack house Cassie says," Oh good now that everyone is here I need to talk to you all. First of all Luna, Summer, and June you will all be watching. None of you will be participating you can take notes and Luna can give all of you advice but the rest of you will be learning hands on. Now Summer and June since your brought supplies we will still make you whatever you want so let us know."
For the next five hours we did the canning and made snack jars. Once we were done all six women called their mates to the pack house. Not only did they take back the stuff they brought over but we gave each one a case of everything we made. Steve helped Summer and William take their stuff over to their place. Once Steve and William got everything put away they came back and we had dinner.
Two days later Steve and I went to get the next set of materials. Once again I got all kinds of materials. I got fifteen of each color of fuzzy material they had. I got twenty rolls of every kind of materials they had. I even bought out all of the sports team materials. Then I picked up a ton of yarn. After that I found all the thread and needles I could. After we get everything loaded in the truck we go to lunch after that we headed home. Everything was unloaded and the sewing circle went gaga over what we found.
It was an hour after we got everything settled down that the construction crew came to talk to Steve about the next part of the project.
