She gritted her teeth and spoke after realizing that she was unmoved by her remarks.
"You b*tch! stop pretending like a sophisticated woman, because everyone in Central City knows who you really are. You're simply a b*tch who always extends her legs to any man."
The diners in the restaurant were drawn to the woman's loud voice and laughing, which caused them to mutter to one another.
Why do I keep running into this lunatic now, Thea sighed. How, in the world, is it possible for my sister to be friends with this crazy person?
If this had occurred to her in a past life, she would have dragged the crazy woman outside the restaurant and smacked her repeatedly until she realized where she belonged, but today is her lucky day. Is she really fortunate? Thea grinned.
She is with Erick, and she wouldn't let anyone disrupt their wonderful date. She sighed again, oblivious to the person standing next to her, and made a commitment to herself not to dwell on anything bothersome like this. She reaches for a glass of wine and gracefully sips from it.
Thea, on the other hand, was beginning to aggravate the woman with her calm approach. The Thea she was familiar with was obnoxious and aggressive. She is now dumbfounded as to how this woman could undergo such a drastic change to appear to be a completely different person.
She was anticipating her to slap her or utter derogatory remarks about her, but neither of those things happened. Her strategy of appearing pitifully in front of the crowd was now futile because Thea doesn't even bat an eye on her.
"Such a conceited b*tch, do you think you can act like that in front of me? "the woman smirked.
Unbeknownst to her, Thea already knew what she was doing and what she wished to achieve, and she would never yield to the provocation of this woman.
She eyed Thea with a rolled tongue and said, "Stop acting like you don't know me."
She tilted her head like an innocent woman and said, "Miss, I'm genuinely sorry but I guess you are confusing me for someone, Are you sure it was me you were looking for?"
They were heard by the diners in the restaurant, who are now looking at the woman with shame as though she were a troublesome lady.
The woman clenched her jaw, she was pissed, because Thea acting calmly. Also, she found it irritating that the diners in the restaurant treated her like a joke.
'No! She collected herself and sneered, 'This was not intended to happen, Thea should be the one in this situation feeling ashamed, not me.'
She looked around and screamed loudly, "Oh right, how could you remember, when you change men as if you're changing clothes" she chuckled. "B*tch! Don't pretend that you didn't know me, we all knew that you stole my lover didn't you forget?" she exclaimed.
Thea looked over to the person speaking next to her and sighed as she did so. On the other side, the woman was grinning, believing that this was the harsh response from Thea that she had been anticipating. She was about to brace herself for the possibility of receiving a slap.
The woman reasoned, 'It's okay, it won't hurt too bad, but the damage to her reputation would be enormous and would spread throughout the central city.' Yet the slap she was anticipating never materialized. Thea chose to simply take her glass of red wine and observe the motion she made with it before announcing in her most seductively smooth voice that everyone who heard her would know that she was from a wealthy family.
She continues swirling the red wine in her hand without looking at the woman, saying, "Miss... I have told you... I don't know if you are deaf or perhaps disabled." She said, delicately stressing the words on her lips.
"Let me repeat myself, I - DON'T - KNOW - YOU."
The audience lets out a loud laugh.
Thea chuckled as she continued, "Miss in my book, second-hand things are called garbage and garbage only belongs to the trash and is not meant for stealing. And you are not only deaf but you're delusional as well, how can I steal when I can afford to buy...besides If I ever steal something, I steal from someone at my par right? Miss"
She reacted violently, "WTF!... Are you saying that my lover is trash?"
Thea smirked at her and replied, "Oops! You're the one who said it, not me."
Thea pointed her wine glass at the man who was standing by the counter and added, "I have a high standard for men, and I only have one man in my life." Thea waved at Erick with a sweet smile on her face.
The woman was taken aback by Thea's unexpected statement that Thea intended to steal her boyfriend. She was startled that Thea had a lover and was acting so warmly toward the man, who appeared incredibly handsome in contrast to her boyfriend. She doesn't hear about it from Elizabeth.
"You dare to include my boyfriend with your toys, you b*tch, she sneered, brushing aside her thoughts, "If I knew, he one of your boy toys."
The woman who was standing next to Thea was starting to irritate her. She now conveyed a subject she previously resisted bringing up, namely the fact that calling Erick her boy toy now actually irritates her.
Thea reflected, 'Alright, I wouldn't play with you anymore.' She was before just enjoying making fun of this crazy woman, but now she makes a less-than-nice reference to Erick. She is furious.
Thea poured herself some wine, took a few sips, and then glared at the woman with her famously evil smile, which was well known across major cities and had the power to irrevocably ruin a person's life. It wasn't for nothing that she was dubbed the Wicked Heiress. Is she?
Unconsciously, the woman retreated as she felt a chill go down her back, as though Thea was staring at her entire being and had the power to destroy it with her gaze.
"Well, I see who you are now."
Thea makes a tapping noise as she places her long, slender fingers on the top of the table.
"You're the "STARLET," Jessica Moore, and I would never think a "STARLET" like you could afford a place like this," she said, her use of the word "starlet" evoking sarcasm.
"Hmmp!! I knew it you are just pretending before now you're exposing your true colors for insulting me, your shameless woman," the woman scoffed in shock.
"..."
Jessica warned that Thea might blow up at any moment and would likely slap her as she began to feel more confident.
"Pretentious B*tch, "said Jessica.
Thea thinks, "If this is what you want, I'll give you the taste of your own medicine, and you shouldn't say those things to my Erick."
But she persisted regardless of Jessica's remarks, this time it seemed if the devil was whispering in Jessica's ear.
Thea waved her glass of wine at the elderly man in his late 70s who was approaching their area and said, "You call me shameless when the one who should feel ashamed here is YOU my darling." Jessica followed the path of her gaze.
When Jessica saw the man approaching her and Thea mockingly grinning at her, she was unable to speak.
Did she know, pondered Jessica.
