There was a woman who wished to have a beautiful but tiny child. So she went to see a witch to get what she wanted. The witch gave her a beautiful flower. And told her that once the flower bloomed her most awaited beautiful tiny child will be born there.
The woman brought the flower back home. She took great care of this everyday. Until one day, the flowers bloom. And a small girl, just the size of the thumb stretched her tiny little arms as she looked with innocence to the woman.
The woman greatly rejoiced and promised to take good care of this very beautiful tiny child. And she named her Thumbelina.
But then the tiny child was lost after she was kidnapped by some frog. And met many creatures that wanted her to be their wife. But because they are all ugly, she doesn't want to be with them and escape multiple times.
