These past few weeks have been weird. After the party, things have not been the same between Alex and I. Him and I have become what I feared, awkward with each other. We don't dare to mention the kiss… I don't even know if he remembers kissing me. Alex has also become kind of a celebrity on campus. He hates all the attention. I can tell he feels uncomfortable when we are seen in public together, now more than ever.
Some people laugh at him and they whisper. Some greet him and get excited to see him, like he is a super star and others just stare. He says that his stepdad asked him to please stay away from public places and events, other than school, for a while, for his campaign's sake.
