Eggs, no matter how they are cooked. Over easy, sunnyside up scrambled, they never sat right with Risen. Possibly because one time in high school, she and her then friend Magnolia, had been smoking in the woods. Which she knew wasn't smart and could make Smokey Bear very unhappy.
Still, she sat there listening to her friend go on a rant about how eggs are just chicken fetuses. After hearing that she was kinda off-put by eggs for a while. Even now she couldn't eat them thinking of that. Kind of ironic giving that her favorite hobby is baking. Not sure if you knew this but most pastries have eggs in them.
Normally she'd be fine with it but, she hasn't eaten plan eggs in 9 years and she wasn't about to start now. So as she sits at a sketchy bed and breakfast with nothing but toast and scrambled eggs that feel like rubber with a side of sleep deprivation. She has decided that, No she will not eat this no matter how hungry she is after only having a bag of honey-roasted peanuts on the plane and a kid kicking her set for an hour till he fell asleep but by then it was already too late and she stayed up for another 7 hours and 48 minutes because they're delta airlines
she'd just get something on her way to the bank to make sure everything is okay with her financials
She didn't.
