To say Spencer was confused would be an understatement. He was on his way home from a case with a pedophile ring and a boy named 'Peter' and just wanted to sleep. He knew he should eat something but didn't want to stop and get something and didn't have anything at his house as he was mostly out on cases. He didn't want the food to go bad.
With an empty stomach, he made his way into his apartment complex just wanting to sleep, however, he noticed a bag and note on his door. kinda hard not to when it was on the doorknob. The note said:
Dear stranger in apartment 136
Hey! I'm your new neighbor, Risen. Thought I'd make some cookies for you. I didn't know if you were allergic to nuts, so there isn't any, just snickerdoodle. Hope you had a good day.
XOXO apartment 134
"Cookies?" Sure he knew someone was moving in, he had seen the moving boxes, But with how low the rent was. He thought they would be too focused on themselves to care about their neighbors.
He also thought they would be a male as it was more statistically accurate for a male to rent and a female to buy in their early years of adulthood.
But here he was with a kind note and some snickerdoodles.
He'll have one and probably give the other three to Garcia.
Right after he bit into it he decided, that in fact, to just give two to Garcia. Normally he didn't care for food and only ate when had to, but oh my, lord these were delicious.
The next day, Spencer showed up to work. There wasn't a case, just paperwork for Peter's case. As he got there Derek had noticed a small bag in his hand. the cookies. When he noticed he was a bit confused. 'since when does Spencer bake?' Derek thought
"Hey, pretty boy!" Derek shouted
Spencer was already more than halfway across the bullpen. He turned around.
"Yes Derek," Spencer murmured as he made his way over to the said individual.
"What's with the bag?" He inquired.
"My new neighbor made cookies and I didn't eat them all so I was going to give them to Garcia, Want one? They're really good," Spencer said.
"Uh, sure... Oh my goh thee are amazinf" Derek tried to say with a mouth full of cookie"
"I know! I don't know what she did to them but they're so good" Spencer babbled.
"She?" Derek asked
And on that note, Spencer took that as a sign to leave too Garcia's Batcave as she likes to call it. And with Derek asking himself 'what just happened'
Pretty much the same reaction with Garcia but with the added bonus of asking him to ask his neighbor for more pastries.
After work, he actually did want more cookies and thought it only fair to ask the same way he had gotten then in the first place. With a note.
Dear stranger in apartment 134
my names Spencer, by the way, but I had the snickerdoodles you left at my door and was wondering if you had any more cookies so I could bring them to work with me
sincerely apartment 136
A note was not like Spencer, but he thought it was only far as that's what he got.
