I sorta nodded from everything they had told me. Most of the information I knew about the Divisions because I had been studying Cory's men. Before I could open my mouth to speak, we heard this loud yelling and shouting between two men. You couldn't fully tell what they were hollering and yelling about but it was clear enough to know they were arguing.
"What is going on?" Mara suddenly asks, confused.
"Oh, you haven't heard?" Abby answered.
Maria asked, "Oh, know what happened?"
Abby replied with a sigh. "It's Anna, she ended up sleeping with one of the men in Nick's division. I'm sure it was Jeff but either way Conner isn't happy about it."
The yelling kept getting louder as the two men were getting closer.
"She didn't!" Maria said, quite shocked.
"I'm guessing this isn't good?" I questioned, jumping in on the conversation.
"Oh, no," Maria stressed. "Conner has been wanting to marry Anna off to get her out of his claim. Behaving like this won't help that process along."
"Or maybe it will," Abby added her opinion while shrugging her shoulders unsure.
"If she ends up getting pregnant this won't go well for Anna," Maria disagreed. "Honestly, this is all Rachel's fault for the brainwashing she caused."
"Indeed," said Abby.
"Who's Jeff?" I asked but nobody had any chance to answer. Conner and supposedly this man named Jeff entered the swimming pool room. In the entrance straight across from us. From our side view, the angry men were straight in front of the hot tub pool.
The loud fighting only continued for us to hear and see it. Their stance kinda shifted toward the bar where we got our drinks.
"If she's pregnant Jeff you can claim her!" Conner yelled. "You couldn't stop yourself from sleeping with her and out of all days it has to be on moon phase!"
Overhearing Conner's voice screaming in the pool room. Brought Cory, Nick, Kai, and Jeff to come out of the game room. Around different entrances to the pool, other guys came in to see what was going down. Nobody intervened and stood off to the side to watch the argument.
"I am not making any claim to her! I admitted to my mistake but even if she is pregnant! I will not be claiming her!" Jeff yelled back, flinging his hands about in anger.
Conner ranted off yelling in Jeff's face. "I am trying to get her out of my responsibility claim! You sleeping with her doesn't make this easier on me! I'm sick of dealing with all of this! I have three daughters, two sons, my wife, and Anna. If she is pregnant, how will I get her out of my responsibility claim!"
"You're acting like she is pregnant!" Jeff shouted loudly. "We don't even have a confirmed answer!"
"I am telling you now how it's gonna be, Jeff!" Conner yelled super strongly.
But Jeff wasn't having it and went back up closely into Conner's face. "You won't tell me what to do Conner! If Anna is seriously that much of a problem to you! Then put her on the market and get rid of her! If she's pregnant then abort the unborn! You have the poisons to go through with the abortion. That is your division field!"
I was shocked to hear Jeff say such horrible words about this incident that happened. It made me realize Anna did get herself in a jam on this one. Having a heart, I couldn't help but feel bad for Anna.
So suddenly Annie ran into the room in full hysterics. Tears streamed heavily down her cheeks. She put herself pretty much in between the fighting men.
Annie screamed defending her younger sister. "You aren't selling my sister! How could you both be so heartless to her?
Don't you even care how she might feel!"
Conner yelled in his wife Annie's face. "You just keep out of this your sister is nothing but a huge pain to me!"
All the yelling caused more of Cory's men to enter the pool area to watch this. Abby turned her head and saw Cory waving his arm for them to come his way.
"We are being signaled to get out," Abby said standing up from her seat. I turned my head and saw Cory gesturing for us to come. We left our drinks and got out right here at the edge where we were at. We each tied our towels around our waist and then walked up. Unfortunately, we kinda had to walk in the direction of the fighting but a few men came by shielding us as we passed and cut a turn around the adult section of the pool and went toward Cory.
"Just chill for a second until this fight breaks up," Cory told us once we reached him.
He passed me a faint smile with a wink when I looked at him for a second. I felt this strange tickle in my stomach when he did that. So I turned away without replying. Then I realized Abby and Maria appeared to be worried. They too only gestured a head nod to Cory, not speaking either.
"We will probably need to remove Annie. Conner and Jeff are on the edge of a fist fight." Suddenly JJ's voice comes up from behind us. He must've come in from a different entrance, I thought while the fight continued.
"Yeah, the guys are near to grab her when it happens," Cory answered.
At this point, Conner and his wife were now yelling and screaming at one another.
"I am done dealing with your sister!" Conner yelled in full anger.
"This is all your fault, Jeff!" Annie did a bold move by yelling at him!"
Conner yelled at Annie. "It has always been your sister! Jeff just didn't help the situation but now this draws the line! I've had enough with her!"
"You're not selling my sister! How could you be so cold! You don't even care how your daughters feel! They don't like the idea of being in an arranged marriage! You're forcing them to marry older boys they do not love! Now, you're going to sell my sister!" Annie cried telling Conner off in front of anybody here watching.
Conner wasn't gonna tolerate this type of disobedience from her. Without warning, Conner grabbed Annie on the back of her neck and dug his fingers down hitting a very sensitive pressure point. Annie screamed in agony and dropped to her knees.
My eyes gaped almost mortified to see Conner correcting his wife while everyone else watched. None of the men including Cory or JJ stopped Conner.
Conner said in a cold heartless tone. "Don't you dare question anything I do for you or our daughters! The girls will be fine with their fiances! I'm not the type of man that will forever keep a claim over my daughters! And I am not going to keep a claim with your sister any longer!"
After saying such seemingly heartless words. Conner threw Annie off her knee. She almost landed flat on the hard pool stone-like floor. But she caught herself in a side-sit on her elbow. Pretty much bawling while she held the back of her neck from around her long hair.
