Being done with Annie, once again Conner faces Jeff. I predicted this to happen, I figured as some of us watched this all godown. Thankfully, I had Sally by me with Maria and Abby. Now I only needed to get Annie out of the way.
"You slept with Anna, you will take her in your claim!" Conner rudely said pointing his finger at him.
Jeff knows Conner has always been the very dominating and controlling type of man. Up until he would get angry, Conner would be considered reasonable. But not right now, Jeff knew all too well that Conner wasn't in the mood to be reasoned with.
And Jeff wasn't the type to sit here and tolerate this type of behavior. Having an equal rank, Conner wasn't the boss of him, and Jeff was right on that aspect. Only my Primaries and I overrank them.
Jeff yelled directly in Conner's face. "You can control anybody under your authority, Conner but you can't control anything I do! You're the one who took Anna! She is your problem! I don't care if she's pregnant or not, you can deal with it! I will not be claiming Anna or a baby!"
The second I heard that I gave a nod and two men grabbed Annie off the floor and dragged her my way. Annie continued to cry non-stop. They put her on the floor near the front of us but more toward the front of Sally.
Conner's face turned into a surreal mean look, his fist clenched. Right in the center of Jeff's face, Conner swung the first blow. This caused Jeff to fall back slightly off balance but he regained a firm stance bleeding out his nose. Jeff balled a tight fist and punched Conner right in the mouth breaking open his lip! His footing tumbled some and Jeff didn't give him a chance to stand straight. He charged right at Conner and slammed him in the gut! Conner sucked in the pain and kneed Jeff in the gut. All at the same time, throwing his elbow in-between Jeff's shoulder blades.
Jeff fell, taking Conner down too. They rolled in a punching scuffle taking turns on who was on top of who while punching non-stop. Blood was smearing and staining all over the pool flooring. Their knuckles were bleeding from missing a good aim on each other and nailing the floor. At the same time, they both hit each other in the stomach and rolled away heavily breathing. They both stared at one another for a moment. There wasn't a win with either of them. It was only to get the building frustration out.
The rest of us watched what was going to happen next. Jeff staggered to his feet and then limped himself off and out of the room. Next Conner got off the floor and waddled toward our direction. He used his shirt to wipe the blood off his face. Then he gave his wife Annie a darkly scary look that even made Sally back up into me.
"You get yourself up to the bedroom! I don't want to hear another word from you! Whatever I decide to do with your sister will be my decision! You're to keep your mouth shut! Or else I will break your mouth off your face! You will not be disrespectful to me in any way. You are to obey and never question what I do! Even with the girls, I make the rules, not you!" Conner said in great anger.
Annie stood up crying and took off doing as she was told.
JJ came up talking to Conner. "Alright, let's just see what happens before we make any calls on what to do."
Conner said more calmly. "My problem right now is I am never going to get Anna out of my claim. She keeps throwing herself around. What man is going to want her as his wife and not as a mistress? If she's pregnant no one is going to want her and knowing my luck she'll have a daughter. Then I'll be stuck with more girls in my claim when I only want my wife. The girls are set to leave my claim."
"I get what you're saying, Conner. But let's see if she's pregnant and take it from there. Just take a chill for right now." I said, trying to ease his mind.
Conner nodded and just walked to the bar to get a drink with some heavy shots in it and then he left the room.
A few other men came in and threw some cleaning solution on the pool floor. The blood deteriorated and dried on the spot. Leaving the floor completely clean.
"JJ, I want Anna under your watch until we know for sure," I ordered. "I don't want Jeff or Conner doing anything."
"Yeah, I'll do that," replied JJ.
"Good call. If she's pregnant she won't be safe with Conner or Jeff. Neither of them wants that baby they'll both kill her unborn," Nick said feeling stressed.
"That's why I want her to be watched closely. If that baby is a boy then I want him for the military," I said.
JJ informed me, "if she's pregnant with a girl those guys will want the baby aborted. Conner has had it with Anna, he won't let her keep the baby. It's Conner's call unless you take claim to Anna or command to stop it."
Nick said to me. "You may not be able to stop this. If Jeff doesn't want the baby, he will terminate it. After all, he is one of your best hitmen. I use him more for hits compared to tracking. He'll find a way to kill this baby."
"Conner too, he has access to all the medications that will kill the unborn. Nick makes a point. We might not be able to do much. We can only hope the baby is a boy if she is pregnant," JJ shared his concern.
"Let's just see what will happen," I repeated. "We don't know if she will get pregnant."
Now, this was only getting me frustrated. Being killers, I knew what Conner and Jeff were capable of doing. I don't need a reminder! Then I see Sally standing next to me listening to the whole conversation with an extremely upset look on her face.
"Maria! Abby! Go take Sally back to the hot tub!" I got snippy and lashed out in anger.
They nodded for Sally to follow.
"What are you going to do with this situation?" Sally asked me worriedly. "And are you going to let Conner be alone with Annie?"
"Sally, that is her husband, she is to respect him and what he says. If a wife gets out of line, correction is necessary. It will be that way for you too. This matter isn't your concern." I snapped at my bride in coldness.
I wasn't meaning to but I was angry to hear Nick and JJ jabbing on about this! Poor Sally had a mixture of shock and fear on her face. She said nothing and backed away from me. I saw Nick, JJ, Kai, Josh, and the other guys were speechless that I snapped at Sally. A part of me wanted to comfort her but I was too mad to even try. It was better that I let it be.
