Chapter 223 - Ch 223: Cared For

More puzzled, Matt finally talked. "I am sorry you had these dreams."

I wanted to punch him in the head. After all that training, that's the best he could come up with to say! He looked at me flabbergasted and shrugged his shoulders. I could only shake my head trying not to exhale loudly.

"Sally, I feel you're under a great deal of stress, more than we thought. I think having these nightmares is from stress so it's mentally affecting your sleep." Mike said coming up with a more logical reason. On why she is getting these creepy nightmares. Creepy may not be the word since she looks tormented by having them.

"It felt so real like it wasn't even a dream." Sally sobbed in a mere whisper looking up at me. "You were in this dream but you too had disappeared on me."

I was shocked whenever she confessed this to me. Just a minute ago she didn't say that. It appears that she was so distressed about it. That she didn't know what she was telling me. She couldn't remember what she wanted to hide or not hide from me. Of course, I was only assuming this but it was a pretty good assumption, I felt.

"Sally, it's ok," I leaned downward, kissing the top of her head again. "I am right here. It's only you and I right now. I'm assuming these two babies you saw and the little girl were ours if we had kids, right?"

I seek to ask her since she was in so much distress. I kinda took advantage of this and asked her with sincere affection. To my relief, my gentle approach worked. She nods her head confirming my conclusion was true.

"You don't need to worry about this. You and I aren't having a baby. There isn't any need to stress over something that hasn't happened." I softly told her as I caressed the framing of her face with my thumb and knuckles. But she didn't say a word and only listened to my voice.

"I can agree with that," JJ added soothingly and then suggested. "I have an idea, Sally. Outside is very refreshing, we can hang out on the balcony. It might help keep you cooler. So why don't we get you dried off and then get you something cooling to drink and maybe even a snack?"

I smiled to see her eyes somewhat lit up. Still, she didn't say anything but she gestured to this liked idea.

"Mike. Jay," JJ asked them once, getting their attention. "Why don't you guys go down to the kitchen and gather up some snacks and whatever else your arms can carry?"

Mike nods, standing up, "ok, will be back."

While Mike and Jay left together, Matt grabbed me a towel for Sally. Very carefully JJ and Matt pulled her arms up for me to dry her. Being in heat, her body was growing weak from the pain she was enduring.

Once I pad her body down some I wrapped the towel around her and picked her up bridal style again. Then I walked her out to the balcony and sat on a comfortable cushioned chair. I just held her right here on my lap for her to face the view outside. I saw she was looking at the moon and stars that dazzled the sky. Right away, I noticed her body was relaxed with me. Her heart rate was steady and she didn't show any signs of pain. She cuddled right up with me so I snuggled her in my arms. Compared to a moment even her mood was pleasant.

"Sally, would you like a shot-free bubbly drink?" asked Aaron standing around within the glass doors.

She didn't say anything and only nodded, yes.

"She likes the pinkish light color one," I informed Aaron.

Aaron chuckled saying, "yeah, I kinda figured that. The rest of your drinks are probably too strong for her."

Passing Aaron up, Matt came in taking a seat on a comfortable soft chair a few inches from the doors, and said. "I'm going to leave the water in the jacuzzi. She'll probably need it again when her temperature rises too high."

"Yeah, that's a good idea," I agreed and asked my dear bride. "How are you feeling, Sally?"

"A little better. My body doesn't feel like it's on fire. It's only slightly burning in my lower stomach." Sally replied softly and relaxed.

"That's good. If you feel that you're getting overheated just say something. I'll dip you back into the tub." I told her.

Sally beamed a smile at me saying "as long as you don't drug me again then I will."

I chuckled at her and kissed her head resting back on my chest. "I won't but you need to be open with me about how you're feeling so I can help you."

"I'm just not used to having anyone care about me," Sally confessed. "But I am trying to trust you."

Weirdly, enough my heart warmed to hear her open up to me.

"Sally, I care more than you realize, same with the guys here, our Royal family, and my other Highest-Ranked friends care about you too," I told her to be full-heartedly honest with her about this.

"Indeed, that is true," Nick added after he took a seat two chairs away from us facing the view. "You're going to be our Primary Queen marrying our Primary King. In our eyes, Cory is our brother so without question you're our sister. We'd do anything for him so you better believe will do the same for you, Sally."

I could tell by Sally's face she wasn't sure how to respond to what Nick had told her.
