"JJ told me to stay here and stare at this window," I said sweetly back with some sassy sarcasm in my attitude.
Honestly, I wished I could've stormed out of the room but I was told to stay here by JJ's orders and I wouldn't do that to Samantha.
"Then go sit on that couch facing the window," She hissed no longer showing her fake sweet-sided personality.
Her true rudeness was lashing out as I refused to listen. Meanwhile, poor Samantha has to witness such bizarre childish behavior.
"Anna, would you shut up and stop being so impolite to our future Primary Queen!" Suddenly a voice shouted. "If Sally wants to play with her niece Samantha then she has all say to do so. You can't demand or tell her anything about what she is to do. She has all rights to tell you what to do!"
I had to hold my mouth up to realize that glamorous blonde-haired ponytail woman spoke so abruptly rude to this woman named Anna.
Anna huffed and puffed rudely when standing up, she stormed herself out of the room so ignorant, I felt. Suddenly, that blonde woman stood tall from the boxed chair and came over to Samantha and me. Where she took a seat on her folded knees and picked up one of Samantha's dolls and doll brush and started combining the doll's brown hair. While I sat stupefied!
"Hello, Sally," she softens her voice. "My name is Abby I'm one of Maria's friends we just haven't met yet."
I was still amazed by how bold she was just less than a minute ago. She seemed bolder than most women but as she veered her eyes up sweetly. Her beauty was so divine, I believed and I felt shy with her for whatever reason.
"Nice to meet you, Abby," I shyly said.
"Don't mind Anna, she's just trying to make an impression. She has a thing for Nick." Abby shared sweetly.
"She could have just said so," I gently spoke as I started to help Samantha dress one of her dolls in a new gown. "I would've taken a seat someplace else."
Abby giggled saying, "it's a lost cause I'd say. Nick courts her but he will never commit to her like she feels he will someday. After the incident with his ex-wife, I don't feel he'll ever remarry again. He is still in love with his ex-wife. Having that broken bond he'll suffer it out for a thousand years before he's mentally set free. That's one of the reasons why a bond connection is called man's curse. Imprints can toy was man's mind. Nick is suffering most brutally. None of the women he courts will ever satisfy him with the affection he were to receive from them. If anything he's just going to make him feel unsatisfying lust that he can't mend. "I have heard of that about broken bonds and even unbroken bonds can still be deadly for a man. But that's sad it sounds like Nick is only using them." I stated while braiding a blonde-haired doll's hair for Samantha.
But Abby carelessly shrugs her shoulders. "Courting is a neutral thing for our Kind on both genders. A woman just has to mind her heart so it doesn't get broken. That's where Anna has gone wrong because I feel she loves Nick and she is desperate to get married." Abby shared as she now has my curiosity wondering since I don't even wanna marry their Primary King.
"Why is she desperate to get married?" I questioned to know.
"Being unmarried lacks benefits for a Kingdom woman. Like others who aren't married to a Kingdom man, Anna doesn't have a rank or any authority even for her being a Pureblood. Anna's older sister Annie is married to Conner. Which Maria told me you meet at Tony's mansion."
"I know Conner, he cleaned up Samantha's knee," I said smiling at Samantha for the moment and then asked to put things together. "I think I meet Anna's sister Annie. Does she have an eleven-year-old daughter and hangs out with a woman named Courtney? She has long brunette hair."
"Yup, that's Annie, actually she and Conner have three daughters and two sons. Eric is the firstborn, he's fifty-eight, and their second son Derrick is twenty-one. Crystal is thirty-eight, Olivia is eighteen, and Ann you saw is the youngest being eleven. Ann's best friends with Courtney's youngest daughter Cia." Abby replied confirming that the other woman hanging out with Miranda, Courtney, Selena, and Lucy that day was named Annie. So Annie was the third lady who laughed at me with Miranda and Courtney.
"Anyways," continued Abby grabbing my attention. "Conner has taken Anna in his responsibility claim. Since their father disappeared before he had the chance to marry Anna off. The sisters had no biological brothers for one of them to take responsibility claim for Anna. However, since Annie already had a marriage claim by Conner, making him Anna's brother by marriage. By our Kingdom Kind laws, Conner automatically got the responsibility claim over Anna's other Blood-related male family members. Conner has full control over Anna and can sell her to another man in this Kingdom or another Kingdom if he wishes and nobody can stop him. Not even her blood-related family members can stop him." Abby explained in a lot of details
"Maria never told a responsible claim goes automatically to brother blood-related or not," I said learning more about Kingdom Kind.
Abby nods brushing the hair of a different doll. "Yup, that's how it works and if the brother doesn't want the claim, he'd just sell his sister. This happens a lot but Anna has been fortunate that Conner kept her all this time since she and Annie are so close but I know he's thought about it because of her behavior."
"Behavior?" I asked confused. "Because of her attitude?"
Abby giggled, "I mean thanks to Rachel's corruption she acts non-lady-like thinking it will get her a man, mainly Nick, but the guys want a woman that would be a loyal lady not like a doll. Conner gets sick of it."
"Oh," I murmured understanding. "What happened to Anna's and Annie's dad?" I asked curiously.
