Chapter 173 - Ch 173: Heated Argument

I watched her enter the bridal store. As handfuls of my men and my brothers' men stood outside it. This time we knew there was no back egress for her to escape.

Once I noticed all was good. I took my leave with my brothers and some of our friends to head inside the bar. We head to the back where the pool tables were at.

Some of us take a seat at these round tables while others started playing pool. Since our group was quite large a couple of ladies likely from the Average Kind came to take our drink orders.

Once they left to get our beverages

Kaiser asked, "I'm guessing Sally freaked out?"

"She had a little breakdown," I replied. "I'm sure she's good now."

"Maria did this. So Sally will be fine. The bloodwork showed she's already bonding with you." John jumped into the conversation when playing pool nearby our table.

"Already showing, ah," said Dominic. "She's going to suffer tomorrow during the moon phase."

"Tomorrow!" I sorta shout and turned around to see JJ's guilty face. "You didn't tell me it was tomorrow!"

A lot of laughter roared up our area.

"I didn't know how to break it to you," confessed JJ before taking his shot, sliding two balls in one hole.

"Haven't you been paying attention to the solar radar?" Dominic mocked me across the table, having this grin.

"I've had no reasons to pay attention to the moon phase and I wrongly trusted JJ to tell me!" I tried to justify myself but it was a huge fail.

My brothers and our friends laughed further mocking me.

"Well, little brother you do now," Kaiser teased sitting by Dominic.

I shook my head grinning while waiting for everyone, including my friends to stop jokingly taunting me.

"No worries, I don't either," Dominic told. "Since Ashley isn't able to breed. She doesn't go into heat anymore. Although, I feel she wishes. I think she wants another baby but she can't have them anymore."

"Yeah, that's rough on the woman when they can't have any more children. It can cause depression." JJ didn't fail to say while he waited for his next turn.

Dominic said, "she's managing it by caring for the babies at the nursery. Plus she takes in your daughter too, Nick."

"Yeah, she does," Nick agreed sitting next to my right.

"So Cory, how do you plan on making Sally comfortable during the moon phase?" Kaiser randomly asked.

"Seeing how I just found out tomorrow is the moon phase! I don't have an answer!" I said loud enough for JJ to hear me somewhere behind my back. But I only heard him and a handful of guys chuckle.

"She'll be in good hands will get her through it," Jay affirmed, sitting on my left.

Before anybody else could say another word. My phone rang off loudly from my front pocket. So I took it out to see who it was.

"What's up Rick," I answered.

"We got them," replied Rick from his line as I defiantly grin.

"How many and where?" I asked.

"Three at Frankie's Mansion," Rick notified. "Frankie's evacuating his mansion now so you'll get the alert shortly."

"Have them searched for any trackers and bring them back to my mansion blindfolded to start the interrogation," I ordered.

"Pete, Justin, Richard, Daniel, Zig, and I are going over now to retrieve them. Richard said he and the guys will start the interrogation after we get back. Since Jenny's in a long hall of labor Conner and Zion won't be able to help them." Rick informed me.

"That's fine," I said. "Zion and Conner need to stay with Jenny. I'll be home by dim light. Once Sally goes to bed I'll be down to interrogate them too."

"Sounds good," said Rick. "I'll let Richard and the guys know."

"Perfect," I lastly said before we hung up. As I noticed across the table I saw my brothers' unhappy faces.

"I guess you found your spies?" Dominic asked stressing.

"Absolutely," I said quite pleased.

"Could you please take it easy on them with your interrogation?" Dominic implored.

"Why would I do that?" I retorted, "they killed how many unborns and mortals from our kingdom! On the day of my engagement announcement celebration to Sally!"

"They were working for Kyle he made them do it!" Dominic justified, "it isn't their fault!"

"If you don't make them bleed then they won't talk. I have to make them fear me more than how they fear Kyle." I retorted stubbornly.

"Think about Sally! How would she feel about this? Wouldn't she be devastated to learn this? Do you think she'd approve of this?" Dominic lashed out questions at me. He understood Sally was my only weakness.

"Keep my bride out of this! I know she wouldn't approve of it! That is why she is to stay in the dark! She doesn't need to know the truth about the things I have to do with keeping this Kingdom safe! I may do the extreme but it's necessary. You don't have to like it!" I retorted heartlessly.

"I don't see how this is necessary," Dominic hissed. "At the same time, you kidnapped Sally. You sent Nick and his Division to snip out an enemy's Primary unborn son! Just think about that grieving mother!"

"What makes you think she is grieving over her unborn?" Nick evilly grinned like the true assassin he is.

"So you took her body and hide her from being revived," Dominic gritted teeth. "I don't understand how you could do that, Nick! She was innocent like her unborn son! The Primary is the evil one!"

Nick harshly replied, "it was easy to do! The Primary isn't an easy target, so I made sure she is no longer available for him!"

"You have a daughter! I don't know how you could take out unborn and mother?" Dominic growled angrily.

"It's simple Dominic, I do it for all of us," Nick heartlessly told. "That unborn's Primary father is a predator type. In my viewpoint, we just ended another potential predator. Therefore, I not only spared my daughter but any man in this Kingdom who has a daughter from being **** by her so-called innocent son when he grew up! We all know what happens to women five hundred and older when they go into enemies' hands!"

"You don't know if he'd be like his father!" Dominic lashed out.

"The deed is done," Kaiser intervened to stop the heated argument. "Just drop it."

"I just horrible for any women," Dominic said sadden. "They always have to suffer over what we men do."

It's unfortunate," I said trying to cool down the tension. "Females are the weaker species of our Kind. They live in a world ruled by us hybrid men."

"True, but one might not," Jay implied.

Everybody understood Jay was talking about Sally.
