Chapter 168 - Ch 168: Met up with Deacon

My ally Deacon and I pulled into this extremely old abandoned warehouse owned by my family. It was more like an open garage with two opposite entries. My Primaries and six men from each Division pulled inside. On the opposite end, Deacon, his Primaries, and six men drove in too. We each got out of our cars at about the same time and met in the middle.

The place still smells of old sulfur. My 26th Elder used this place to make weapons and whatever else popped in his head. He was like a mastermind when it came to inventing weapons. The place is super old but well constructed to be still standing after all this time.

Just walking up closer, I could already see that snicker on his face. "So I heard you got yourself engaged," Deacon said harassing.

I chuckled with the other men within the warehouse. "Did you only bring me out here to taunt me?"

Deacon, his men, and my men roared up the warehouse in laughter.

"I wish that was the case," replied Deacon. "Unfortunately, I got some bad news from the ladies I have spying in Kyle's Kingdom."

I raised a brow, "you only sent them in and they already got something?" I questioned not believing this but I could tell by his face he did find out something.

"I trust me," Deacon said. "I was shocked too."

"What did they find?" I asked.

"Kyle managed to get all three of his wives pregnant each having a boy. Just after he made that attack during your engagement announcement celebration. His one wife had given birth."

I was in disbelief to hear this and asked. "Do you know which wife gave birth?"

"His most favorable wife," Deacon answered. "Katerina birthed Kyle his firstborn son. The whole Kingdom is celebrating the birth of the new prince."

"Unbelievable!" I said baffled by this.

So it was true my enemies are starting to have sons. Kyle wasn't the first enemy I've learned who is starting to have kids.

"I know it's hard enough to get one wife pregnant but for a man to get all his wives pregnant closely together like this is unreal," Deacon implied frazzled. "That psychopath must have some good sperm or his wives got some good eggs!"

I shook my head, knowing well this wasn't good news. Any news about an enemy Head King spreading his seed isn't something any rival wants to hear.

"So what do you wanna do about this?" Deacon asked pulling me from my thoughts. "By code, we can't kill Katerina's infant since he's born. Unless we do a borderline breaking code. If we can kidnap the infant we could use a virus that would be a 50/50 chance of surviving it"

"I can't risk that since I am engaged. That phony Codekeeper Adan watches me too closely. We need to figure out how to get that infant and kill Kyle's other two unborn sons before the other two wives give birth." I told him.

"Yeah, another problem about that is Kyle is staying at his dad's palace. He has it on a tight lockdown to keep his wives and sons safe. It would be a suicide mission we could lose our best men over two unborns."

"Yeah, that presents an issue," I said, "And I can't risk going into battle."

Deacon cocked his head and asked. "You have an imprint?"

I could only nod and knew I could trust Deacon. He and I go way back and earned each other's trust and respect. Plus I knew he had an imprint with his only wife. Deacon's Kingdom shared a familiar rule like my Kingdom. They can only marry one wife. However, unlike my Kingdom Deacon's unmarried men can **** their unmarried women and enslaved women. As long as his men never touch any of the women in my Kingdom. Then I didn't care how Deacon runs his Kingdom.

Plus he and I have way worst sharing allies.

Between us all, we share the same burden to be a Primary King. Keeping your Kingdom from falling wasn't easy even being Immortal. The weight of such power could be overbearing but all the while worth it. It's what any King rank Royal would dream to have earned such power.

However, it can come with great risks because you are a target, that includes your wife and kids. It's a survival game out there for us. It's a hard task for any King let alone for a Primary King to keep his unborn offspring safe. Regardless, if we live under code by our Keepers.

Adan was a false power-playing Keeper just waiting for me to slip up. So I always had to be careful when breaking a borderline code. Adan and I are enemies, so he patiently waits to take his revenge on me for taking out his Primary King before he became a Codekeeper. Adan is the sole reason why I will never show mercy to any Kingdom trying to take over my Kingdom.

"I gotta admit, I never would have seen you getting snagged by an imprint," Deacon said pulling me out of my thoughts.

"There is something else I need to tell you about my bride," I said.

"What's that?" Deacon asked perplexed.

"Have you ever heard about the legend of the Grand Duchess?" I asked but he gave me this unusual expression.

"It doesn't ring a bell," Deacon claimed.

So I started to explain and made it clear of the severity of this knowledge. Deacon and his men understood this information about the Grand Duchess couldn't leak out by any means. Their eyes gaged huge in disbelief. They had a hard time taking it in like how he couldn't believe I formed a bond. Not just to any girl but the one and only girl that holds a legendary ranking title. Making her a whole new breed to our Kind. Even her offspring would be a new half-breed from carrying her new genes and my commonly known genes.

"I must say I am speechless about this one, man," Deacon told me which made us chuckle.

"Talk with your Elders about it," I advised him. "Our Elders knew this but kept it from us."

"Oh, I plan on it," Deacon said irritated at his Elders. "You know I'll help keep your bride safe if this causes a massive war. Like how you helped me keep my wife and son safe too."

"I know, that's why I told you," I said.

"I feel since you're dealing with an unbalanced bond connection. We should plan an attack on Kyle's Kingdom carefully." Deacon suggested.

"I can't disagree with you on that," I replied. "Plus I need to figure out who put that tracker in my bride. Somebody knows about her and I am suspicious Kyle knows the truth about her being the Grand Duchess."

"Will find out," said Deacon. "In the meantime will be in touch."

I nodded with agreement and shook his hand firmly saying our goodbyes. Then Deacon and his men left first. Before getting in our vehicles our phones rang off an alert through the military chat. John and I were the most shocked to see Sally and Maria were in trouble. We all ran to our vehicles and pulled out speeding back home.
