Chapter 157 - Ch 157: The Eerie Dream

I found myself lost within this deep eerie fogged forest.

"S..A..L..L..Y..." This creepy feminine voice whispers. I partly spun around seeing no one was there.

"Sa..ll..y.."

I heavily breathe veering my eyes about. But still, I saw nobody else in this hazed forest.

"Who are you?" I called.

"Sally..."

"What do you want!" I shouted feeling breathless but I kept looking around to find this unfamiliar whispering female.

"Sally... You're in danger... Sally run... run Sally..." She whispered again.

I didn't halt but began to run deeper into the forest. The fog lifted but still, it appeared eerie looking. Yet, I still ran until I couldn't run anymore from exhaustion. Making me stop while I merely heave out of breath. My heart was burning beneath my chest even my throat felt raw from breathing so deeply.

Drip! D-drip... Drip...

I felt warm liquid dripping down on the top of my hand. Shockingly, this dark red blood is seen rolling off my upper hand. I looked above me heavily breathing and panting but I saw nothing bleeding within the high tree branches. Only these eerie large black-feathered birds take off over my head hauntingly squawking.

"Look." Whispered the creepy feminine voice. Once the hauntingly flock of black birds vacated elsewhere in the forest.

I looked straight and saw a shallow creek about seven steps away. Very cautiously I went up to the steady flowing stream. When I did this mirror reflection of myself appeared. I shrieked to see my eyes are bleeding with thicker amounts of blood. Using my fingertips, I wiped my face and felt wetness. When I looked at my three fingertips they were covered in dark blood. Shock struck me and I backed away from the creek shuddering.

"Mommy." A small child's voice whispered from behind me. I spin around to see this beautiful little girl merely four years old. She wore a white lace gown that covered her feet. Her hair was blonde like mine with a golden tint. It had the same texture between wavey and straight. The length of her hair was long just reaching her elbows. She had my eye color and other sharing facial features. But what shocked me more, is I saw features of Cory in her like his nose shape. I was stunned with disbelief as she approach but I stepped back one step away.

"Don't lose me, momma," said the girl in this most heartbreaking cry. Before I even had any chance to ask anything. Right before my eyes, she vanished like a ghostly apparition. My feelings were overwhelming me, I couldn't control myself and felt heavy amounts of bleeding tears pouring down my cheeks.

"Sally run!" A louder voice cried. Don't let them take..."

"Sally!"

From out of thin air, I screamed when this phantom-like dark figured man appeared and snatched my shoulders, he shook me violently! I scream as he throws me into a tree!

~~~
I found my body sitting up while I scream. Someone touched my arm as this raised voice said broadly over me. "Sally! It's ok! it's ok! It's just a dream!"
My vision became forced and I felt sweat covering my body. Cory's face came in clearly and I didn't stall and dive into his arms trembling. Cory wrapped his warm arms around me in a comforting hug. His steady heartbeat soothed me as it beat into my ear.
"Shhhh," He cooed into my ear and kissed my temple. "I'm here my sweet."
My body shook as he held me in his arms and he rubbed his fingers gently into my hair trying to soothe me. My racing heartbeat genuinely settled into a normal speed. My breath slowed into a regular breathing rate. For some reason, Cory was taking the anxiety away. Before I realized it I felt more at ease.
"Are you ok?" He softly asked and kisses my forehead.
I took another deep breath. "It was just a dream is all," I said in a mere whisper. And kept myself cuddling up to his chest.
"Was it about the scavengers or that attack?" Asked Cory sounding very concerned.
"No," I whispered. "It was only a creepy dream."
"Talk to me about." He said in this most sympathetic voice.
I was quiet to gather my thoughts. I didn't wanna share much about the dream with him. It was confusing and it felt as if the dream was trying to warn me about something. 'Don't let who take what?' I was beyond perplexed about this one. Then that girl was a perfect replica of what it could look like if Cory and I did have a daughter. What did she mean by saying 'don't lose her?' Then that phantom man was dressed in a hoodie so never saw his face but he looked to be Kingdom Kind.
Never in my life have I ever had such a vivid dream like that. I just wanted to keep it to myself. Nor could I tell him I do cry tears of blood. Nobody except for me knows about that so I rather not share my deepest secret with anybody.
Once my anxiety settled more I lifted my body and stared into his beautiful deep marble green eyes. He has such worry written on his face. It made my heart feel this weird tingling feeling inside but I pushed it off.
I gathered my wits and said. "I was lost in a creepy forest and somebody kept calling my name..." I stopped for a second and understood if I said anything more, he'd know I was lying if tried saying it was nothing. "It was just a creepy dream that spooked me," I murmured wanting to leave it at that.
He nods, "I was trying to wake you and I said your name a few times." He tenderly kissed my forehead. "If you ever wanna talk to me about it. Just understand I am here for you. Even Mike and Matt are always available for you to speak with them."
"I'll remember that," I told him softly.
He cupped my face into his palms and gazed deeply into my eye. "You had me worried." He whispered.
"I'm okay," I replied softly while getting lost within his captivating eyes. As pulled on his wrists to gently release my face.
"Ok, if your feeling alright. Why don't you go get a shower? Maria came back home shortly. So while I am out to meet my ally you and her can hang out together." He spoke softly.
"I'd like that," I was super excited to hear this.
"Go get your shower, I am going to go talk to John for a second," Cory said. "This way you can have some privacy."
I smiled with appreciation when he told me that.
