~ Once I no longer saw the shopping center mall. I stopped running and slowed down the pace. When I entered a different shopping center and kept walking straight through it. There were tons of people everywhere of all ages. But I just kept going straightforward. Once I found another back egress that took me outside. Onward, I continued to see ahead about ten stone steps down. Would lead to this fancy fountain and bench area. So I head for the steps and took a seat below at the fountain, resting my frazzled feet.
All while I remained hidden out of sight from the higher level. Just above the ten steps across my view. Up against the brick stone wall was a row of benches. There weren't too many people around. Just some scattered about either above or below me walking by.
After catching my breath, I then started to walk and picked up a faster sprint walking. I cut a sharp turn around the brick stone wall ramp and turned my head back making sure I am still in the clear.
*Smack! Thud... Thud...!
"Aughhh!"
I found myself on the cement pavement. My eyes met someone else on the ground too. I ran straight into a pretty woman with blonde longish hair. She wore a black tight skirt and a fancy floral pink shimmering shirt. Since I wasn't paying attention, we both fall from the hard impact and landed on the concrete sidewalk ramp.
The woman looked over at me and said. "Goodness, I guess we both cut that corner a little fast." She picked herself up and then held her hand out to help me.
"I'm sorry about that," I said reaching out for her hand and I stood back up. "I hope, I didn't hurt you." We took a second, dusting ourselves off.
The woman checked over herself saying. "No. I'm good" Shocked, she pointed at my leg. "But your knee is bleeding!" I looked at my knee and saw it was cut open and bleeding some.
"Oh!" I was shocked to see it mildly cut open. "I'll be ok," I told her.
"Come on, I have a friend nearby let's patch that up and we can get you something to eat." The woman politely insisted.
This wonderful lady had such a warm heart, I thought. "Thank, you."
"My name is Sabrina by the way what's yours?" She introduced herself to me and reached out her hand to greet me, politely.
I smiled "My name is Sally, it's nice to meet you." And I held out my hand to shake Sabrina's hand.
While Sabrina's eyes see the ring on Sally's finger after they shook hands.
"Awe, are you married?" Asked Sabrina. "Your husband is a lucky man you're such a pretty girl. That is such a beautiful ring. Definitely, shows he loves you."
Meanwhile here I completely forget about it for the moment. "Oh yeah, thank you." As I stared at it feeling shaky. "I'm just engaged."
"What does your future husband do for a living?" Sabrina asked smiling.
I just thought of a lie and said, "He's just an ordinary businessman."
Really smiling, Sabrina asked with more curiosity. "That is so neat are you a commoner or just an average?"
"Yes," I quickly replied. "A commoner."
Super excited, Sabrina said being friendly. "That's so cool, I am too." She playfully showed me her ring finger. "As you can see from my hand I'm not engaged. The single life it is. I'm not complaining you can date whoever you want."
I played along and gave a fake giggle saying. "Oh, yeah. I remember my single life. Then you know how it is. You just fall for someone and that's it."
"Awe. That sounds so romantic. I can't wait till it happens to me." In a playful awing tone, Sabrina replied.
"It's such an incredible experience," I felt sick to my stomach lying like this. If only Sabrina knew I was running away from a Primary King holding me captured to marry him.
"Come on why don't we get a bite to eat and clean up your knee. Let's stop at my friend's place." Sabrina offered.
"I like that idea," I replied and walked off with Sabrina.
Following her lead as I veered my eyes around some. To make sure, I wasn't being tracked by Cory's brothers or anyone else might work for Cory. But Sabrina's playful personality was fun and relaxed me. Before I knew it, I stopped being paranoid and didn't bother to glance around anymore.
Sabrina and I chatted all the way pasted the large shopping centers. Where she took me down this street way. Not too far up the block, we entered a large island bar fancy restaurant. Upon walking in this charming man came greetings us.
"Sabrina, my beautiful friend!" He and Sabrina kiss each other's cheeks and then his eyes shifted to me. "Who is this gorgeous-looking lady friend you have here?" Said this cheery man beaming a charming smile.
He had on a playful island button-down shirt and brown trousers. His attractive features consisted of dark brown hair and eyes. Adding to his dreamy hunk square face. His eyes stood out like his nicely defined jawline and upper cheekbones. This hybrid-man is jaw-flopping gorgeous, I thought.
Like a true gentleman would. He took my hand and kissed it. Gosh, he caused me to blush and outwardly giggle. Wow, Mr charmer was making me feel like a bashful kitten.
