Chapter 92 - Chapter 92: Led by a child

~ Samantha yanked me up on my feet as I giggled at her adorable complexion. Then the next thing I knew... This tiny child zipped me around multiple rooms, I haven't been in. Here and there we ran into a handful of men likely from Aaron's Division, I guessed. I found some of them gawking their eyes in this unusual eyebrow-raising expression. But none of them said anything when we sauntered pasted them.

"Sweetie, are you sure you know where you are going," I asked, sorta skeptical since I was being led by a five-year old.

"Uh-huh," Samantha only murmured as her eyes lit up at me gaily. I could only smile at those adorable rosy cheeks.

Then I stared off into each room we crossed. We found one with a few ladies likely grossing about something. I think they were quietly talking about the attack. But I was entirely sure when Samantha paraded me on by. The group of gorgeous ladies around the bar strangely gapes their eyes towards me. It kinda felt like I was out of place here. Once we left, I felt much better. The next rooms she took me were empty.

~~~
Eventually, we entered a room where a group of older teenagers was hanging out and playing pool. The girls giggled from being silly and the teen boys are goofing off while playing pool. They looked at Samantha and me bypassing, but said nothing and didn't pause in their conversation.
Which wasn't anything but them making playful jokes at each other. One of the teenage girls dropped her pool stick and laughed so hard that she started snorting. She bent over holding her mouth trying to stop but she lost control. Which caused the other teens to burst out laughing. Making the one older teen boy miss his shot. His face turned to beat red from his laughter.
Huh... To be young again but I can't recall enjoying my time as a teenager. I must say the Kingdom children and teens do seem to be very happy here. Considering on what happened the other night's dim light with that attack.
Other than entering this game room. The place was evidently dead. So it's nice to see these teens were able to find a getaway from the depressing ambiance, I keep sensing.
When I figured we might be lost. Samantha and I arrived inside the same kitchen Cookie had taken me to. I even eyed the same seats we ate at together. Again the entire connected rooms were empty. Then I scanned my eyes around the kitchen countertops and closed cabinets.
"What would you like to drink?" I asked her smiling a friendly face.
"Juice!"
I giggled faintly. Samantha was a girl with few words as she twisted her right heel cutely back and forth in her semi rocking posture. She appeared shy but her face shone in delight.
When I turned back around to figure out where to find what she wanted. Since I didn't know how anything was organized. I just started opening any random door. After all, I knew my way around a kitchen and trailed myself down the line of these top cabinets to discover kids' cups and glass bottles. I found a bottle marked as shot free and labeled for kids. So I pulled it off the shelf and poured her drink.
"Would you like something to eat?" I asked her taking a glance at her beside me waiting patiently. She cutely bobbed her head. So I explored more cupboards and unexpectedly I ran into a first aid kit!
I stopped for a second and pulled it out with two hands. The first thing that came to mind was the tracker, I had found in my arm. Yes, this was perfect and precisely what I needed! I put it off to the side and quickly made Samantha a snack.
Then I put her in a seat nearby my direction in the dining room. "I will be right over here while you eat," I told her and scurried myself back over to the counter. While she was preoccupied with her food and drink. She paid no awareness to me. I looked around making sure no one else enters.
Surprisingly enough, nobody was, so I opened the lid and found the sticking glue and healing wipes, Cory used on me. It had everything, I needed but a knife. I'll just have to figure that out later, I thought, since I noted Samantha was almost done eating.
Great! How am I going to sneak items out of here without the men finding them in my possession! After brainstorming some it came to me... I turned my body and put the glue and two wipes inside the top of my bikini. On both sides of my breasts while I nervously peered my eyes everywhere. Once that part was done and I made sure it wasn't noticeable, I hid anything in my top; By making a few adjustments. Next, I casually put the medical kit away and scrolled over towards Samantha like nothing was going on. I cleaned up the area and had her lead us back to the pool.
~~~

Entering outside, I saw Maria inside the pool while Clara was swimming. I tried not to glance at the men noting my return. While I was trying to figure out my next excuse to leave. So I can hide these hidden items. I can't risk taking off my sundress the men might notice. I had something tucked inside my top. So I was nervous here and likely failed at trying not to show it. But I tried not to make eye contact with the men. It was bad enough, they noticed I didn't take my dress off as I followed Samantha into the above ankle-high water. Samantha dove herself back into the pool. Meanwhile, I walked casually in reaching Maria with her eyes closed relaxing with her infant snuggled on her chest.

"Hey Maria," I grabbed her attention by using a casual voice. "I'll be back. I need to get something from Cory's room."

Opening her eyes from relaxing, "Ok, do you know the way?" Asked Maria.

I giggled acting naturally, "I think I'll figure it out."

Maria laughed and said, "If you get lost just find someone for help."

"I'll be back," I chuckle while I noticed the men observing me going back inside.
