~ Just arriving at back the mansion, I noticed it was heavily guarded. As Jay took me out of the car parked at the entrance. He gently pulled me in as the doors were held open for us by men working for Çory's dad.
Upon entering Jay was bombarded by a crowd of ladies in hysterics. All looking to Jay for answers on what happened to their husbands or family members.
"Ladies I think your husbands are fine. It doesn't seem like the enemy collected anybody. If your husbands fell they will be revived so don't worry. Everyone else immortal will be revived too." Jay said guiding me around the ladies.
Just by glancing my eyes at these ladies most of them were out of their gowns but their hair was still up. As Jay pushed on through taking me to the next room. Off to the side, I saw other ladies getting their minor injuries checked. These ladies were still in their gowns some were torn and others gowns weren't. So I got the idea the ladies wearing the gowns are the ones that escape the attack and the ladies already dressed in regular outfits left before the attack.
A woman with brown hair came to Jay and asked with tears down her face. "What about my sister? She was pregnant with expecting a girl. If she didn't survive her baby will be forever gone!"
Jay released my forearm to hug the woman and said. "I'm sorry a lot of women have been put down. I'm sure there is a great loss with unborns right now. I don't know if your sister made it out or not."
I felt so heartsick as Jay took me back into his hand... My mind blacked out.

Amelia came forward wide eye and speechless to see Sally's face in complete terror.
She took Sally by her hand as Jay handed her off to Cory's mother, briefly saying. "She's in horrible shock you need to take her. She got stuck on the second floor." Afterward, Jay took his leave and returned to help aid the people back at the castle.

After calming all the women around in the huge gathering room. Amelia took all four of her daughters into her room and they changed into something more comfortable.

It had been long hours that the night's dim light was close to fading and the sun phase was soon to be up. Cory's three sisters were off to the right side on a rearrangeable couch. Sally was across the living room just looking out the window on a cushioned long bench-like couch seat at the window.
Tony and his three sons Kaiser, Dominic, and Chris entered his living room connected to his bedroom
After looking at all his daughters Kimberly, Ashley, and Violet.
"You all should rest." Tony said, "You've been up passed dim light. The sun phase is soon to come."
In grief, Kimberly looked up at her father, sitting in the middle seat. She had many tears beading down her face.
"I can't handle this pain daddy." First shaking her head, Kimberly asked, "How could that happen on my brother's engagement announcement celebration?"
As Kimberly looked at Sally staring dead into the window. She hardly blinked an eye and she never spoke. Her body never once twitched nor did she shuffle her position.
Kimberly's husband named Chris walked over to his wife taking a seat. With his fingertips, he dried her tears away. Then he held her in his loving arms.
"Don't be sad for me. Be sad for all those poor pregnant women who lost their unborn babies." Kimberly said softly to him while resting her head on his shoulder.
Now Kaiser sat next to his wife Violet, sitting more towards the left, where he held her.
As Chris said sadly to his wife Kimberly, "It is a very sad time right now for our Kingdom." He kissed her head. "The women who lost their unborn babies will grieve greatly."
Looking towards Sally, "How has Sally been?" Kaiser asked.
"She hasn't moved or spoken a word. I think this is the first time she's ever witnessed anything like this. Whereas we have witnessed this more than several times in our lifetime." Violet his wife answered him.
Kaiser said watching Sally with worry, "Maybe someone should speak with her and see if she's okay. She might need something."
"Mother already tried doing that before leaving to check on her friends. She didn't even make any eye contact and said nothing. She's only been in a dead stare at that window." Replied Violet.
Their dad Tony said, "Let her be! She's in shock. When Cory returns he will handle her. After all, it is his job now to take care of his new bride."
Being on the right side of the couch, Ashley randomly asked worried, "What of the wedding? Our enemies could attack like this at the wedding. None of us have ever had anything happen like this on our engagement celebration announcements."
Now Dominic stepped forward taking a seat by his wife Ashley, hugging her, and said. "No it hasn't but it did on Grandfather Phil's engagement announcement celebration with Grandmother Fiona." As her expressions saddened, Dominic reassured Ashley, "Our enemies can't attack during the wedding day because it will be on the moon phase. Cory is very powerful. He knew his enemies would go after his bride. This is why he even debated on marrying Sally."
"This was bound to happen either way." Standing around, Tony replied to his biological son.
Tony's two biological sons Kaiser and Dominic. Then his one son-in-law Chris looked at him and understood exactly what he was talking about.
Cory's older brothers knew the truth about Sally being the Grand Duchess. But Tony's daughters just looked puzzled at the statement but didn't ask any questions. Since being little their minds were molded to submit and obey their husbands. They understood the less they knew was probably better. Therefore they didn't know the truth about Sally being the Duchess.
"Why don't you take your wives and go rest?" Tony insisted, "I'll take care of Sally."
