~ The next day I woke up after my tired eyes adjusted to the light in the room. I noticed the curtains to the baloney doors were wide open. Then to my relief, I glanced around to notice Cory wasn't in bed or anywhere around the area of the bedroom. The bathroom door was even open. I sat up hanging my legs over the bedside just before getting up. I heard this loud yelling voice from down the hall, coming from outside the door.
Being curious about what the commotion was about. I got out of bed and slowly walked down the hallway. The voice got louder as I was getting closer. Now I could tell it was another woman's voice sounding upset and yelling from outside the door.
"I don't understand this!!! How could you be doing this!" Yelled the unknown woman.
Seems like I am not the only one unhappy at this place, I reckoned. Then a familiar voice spoke back to this unknown woman. I could hear it was Cory sounding, even more, colder than what I knew him to sound like. He seemed to be quite furious.
"Would you just stop your nonsense! What I do or choose to do is my business!" Cory shouts back outside his room to the unknown woman.
I took a step back down the hall. Honestly, I don't know who he is arguing with and right now, I really don't care. I just want out of this place already. Guess that won't happen today. So I might as well find something to wear and get a shower. Maybe having some relaxing time to myself would be good for me.
I walked into the closet and grabbed a pair of jeans and found a thicker shoulder strap black shirt. The shirt had golden fancy-designed tiny buttons on the center of it. Those are sewed down to the bottom seam.
Once I picked my clothes, I entered the bathroom and turned around to lock the door to now realize... Go figure! There isn't a lock on this door! Wonderful! Nobody better not even dare try to come in while I am showering! I rolled my eyes, frustrated, and tossed my clean clothes on the sink's countertop.
Then looked at the shower setting on the outside edge of the shower wall. By glass slide door on the right, about chest level to me. I found the settings for the jacuzzi tub and pushed a few digital buttons from on the top of the screen. Then without any noises to it. The shower lowered its black marble walls. Before expanding out into this wide large jacuzzi. Now the keypad was on the top of the Jacuzzi's black marble wide rim.
I took a seat on the jacuzzi's rim and set the temperature to the water. Once I found the preferred temperature setting, the jacuzzi started to fill.
While it was filling I took a few more minutes reading more settings.
"What do all these say? Hmm. Ok, that looks nice."
I tapped the button that reads bubbles and the jacuzzi started to fill with bubbles smelling like fresh blossoming flowers. The whole bathroom was starting to smell like a sweet flowery scent. Maybe the sweet feminine aroma will make Cory think twice. About making a lady share his room with him. I laughed to myself on that thought for a moment.
I get up walked towards the sink to open the cupboard door and found the towels. Being all the same black-colored towels and neatly folded in a sacked pile. I pulled two from the top and walked back over to place them next to me by the tub. On this small table like stand next to the tub. Then undressed and laid into the relaxing bubbles.
For the moment it felt nice and peaceful. I felt all my worries fade and my thoughts weren't disturbing me. My mind was blank. It felt like I could finally just relax from everything I've gone through. From being captured by this hybrid-man.
Until suddenly, I hard pacing from someone entering the room. Instantly, I felt nervous that this person would enter the bathroom since there was no lock on the door. I reached for the table and grabbed the towel and wrapped it around my naked bubble-covered body and stand up.
My eyes fixed to the tiny open gap between the floor and the door. Where I see this shadow of a hybrid person walking across the bathroom. Then it sounded like maybe this person opened the balcony doors since I heard them squeak. I studied each movement this unknown person took. Now it sounded like the person came out from the balcony.
A given fact, it was just Cory making all this loud commotion. It sounded like he was walking in every direction of the room. From hearing more shuffling noises and squeaks from items being moved around. I was very puzzled as to what he was doing and why he was being so loud. Usually, he is so quiet when he moves around. Perhaps he was looking for something, I inwardly assumed. As I watched his dancing shadow moving about.
The thought of me standing here naked with him just on the opposite side of a door with no lock. Made me feel very uneasy. I got out of the tub, dried off, wrapped my wet hair up in a towel, and dressed myself all in a mere matter of seconds. All while my heart was pounding away.
I placed my dirty clothes inside the hamper set in the right corner. Taking a peek inside it, I felt kinda awkward to see my clothes mixed with Cory's black darker clothes. I'm not even married to this man. Nor do I even know him for that matter. This was extremely weird to see my dirty laundry mixed in with his.
After closing the lid to the hamper. The sounds from outside the bathroom door are continuing fairly loudly.
In the mirror, I looked at myself to see my hair wrapped in a towel from being damp. It kinda dawned on me from looking on the bathroom sink. I didn't spot my brush. Great! I had to go out and get my hairbrush. Where I left it on the vanity.
I almost smacked myself on the forehead! I can't believe I forget my brush on the vanity! I scowled at myself, glaring my eyes into the mirror. The last thing I wanted to do was face Cory. Still outside the door making so much noise.
I'm not sure what he's doing or why he has to be so noisy. Maybe he's upset from arguing with that woman from earlier. Either way I wasn't in the mood to see him, he terrifies me enough as it is. I don't wanna see him having a bad temper. I'll just open the door to get my brush and come back inside the bathroom. Hopefully, he'll be too aggravated to even notice my existence.
I braced myself towards the door and held the knob in my right palm. I took one breath in and looked at the floor for a second and turned it open to dash straight to my vanity. But once I glanced up, I was startled to catch glimpse of a lady inside Çory's room.
This lady has darker brown hair with a pretty face, wearing jeans, and a beautiful yellow shoulder strap style shirt. The shirt had a sewed-in netted cotton lace trimming. At the bottom seam for an extra fancy design.
Now I comprehend the noises were from this lady cleaning the room. She was exactly in the process of putting on some new, clean, fresh-smelling sheets over the bed. She turned around and gleamed at me.
