Day 3
Honestly, I'm about to lose my mind!!! I've been here for only three days, two nights, fifty-six hours, three thousand three hundred and sixty seconds. But who's counting not me. I can't take it anymore all the criticism and comments about my education or how I dress or how I talk. Why can't they understand that this is my life! Not theirs.
Why did mom have to invite the rest of the family over, it wasn't necessary I told her but she most definitely had to disagree with me. She said it's important to have a family gathering whenever the whole family is around. Why couldn't we just talk on the phone instead of seeing each other!
All they do is talk about their neighbours and their children. Trying to compare us to each other. How the hell can you compare a nineteen-year-old to a thirteen-year-old! There is literally a six-year difference between that!
And another difference is, for instance, one is a first-year college student and the other is in the seventh grade. What's there to compare really? But the family does find something to!
Why in the world did I come back, argh I could've stayed with K...K, I haven't talked to him ever since that call yesterday? Why did I even call him? Cause you missed him.
It's just been three days I don't miss him, I miss his company and comments... looking at his Greek god body and his beautiful olive green eyes with specks of brown gold. His lips that look divine and are divine. My gosh, that boy can kiss... craving for one right now.

"Aha. Lol, you know your family isn't going anywhere, they'll be here until late at night, the parties just getting started. Now bring the salads outside."

"Ahh, finally the salads are here." Mental eye roll, I hate my uncle's girlfriend, she really thinks she's apart of the family but nope. I don't like her, why is she here anyway, isn't this supposed to be a family gathering.
"Why are you here, don't your kids need you or something?"

"Keyword. Family. Which you aren't apart of." I say with an innocent smile.

"Girlfriend and just like the last three letters of the word, it shall end but until then bye aunty," I respond with a sinister smile. Yup.
Don't care, what makes her think she's that special, everybody knows my uncle is a player so why must she think she's the one. I walk away and go sit by the pool with my cousins and I don't like what they talking about so I move to the couch that has no one on it.
I take out my phone and text my friends on the group chat.
Girls, I'm dying here who can come over to this gathering?
Ntombi: I can't, I'm out with my mom.
Nita: I made plans with Sasha.
Zeigh: Is there alcohol?
Una: Is there food?
Of course, there's alcohol and food, it's a family gathering. Duh.
Una: Get rid of the attitude. I'm on my way!

At least I'm gonna have people to chill with at this dragging gathering. Well, they seem to be having fun. As I'm waiting for my friends to show up and I'm really concentrating on my phone, somebody taps my shoulder and I turn to see who it is and fuck meeeee! Why'd he have to come!?
"What are you doing here?"
"Woah, no 'hey Andii how you been doing?"
"No." I get up walking away.

"I just want to talk. Please, after that I'll leave you alone."

"So, how you been?" He asks me smiling with interest.

"I've been good too, just missing you a lot."

"I'm serious, I do miss you. When you were still here we were always together. You were my best friend Rina. Don't you miss me too?"

"I don't know, maybe because you love or loved me."

"Like is this how it's going to be between us Rina?"
"How do you want it to be, you cheated on me and then made it seem as if it's my fault that you cheated. I gave you everything I had and even more than I had to give but that still wasn't enough for you. So yeah this is how it's going to be between us."

"Yes, she is! Literally, a day after I gave you what you've been asking for I find you and her on your bed. What sucks the most is that you invited me that day to your house. Why'd you do that if you knew you were just gonna break my heart Andii?"
"That wasn't my intention Rina. I went to the store to buy stuff for us so that we could chill and when I got home I found her in my room, probably Shaun let her in. I told her to leave but she advanced to me and kissed me, I tried to push her off but..."
"You tried to push her off, wow this has to be the lamest excuse I've ever heard in my entire life."
"Just, please listen to me, Rina. Let me explain."
"Look Andii it doesn't matter if you explain, I don't care if you tripped and your dick fell into her vagina. It doesn't matter to me anymore. I don't care about you and I don't love you anymore. So please leave me alone." He was seriously pissing me off, I got up and left him there.
I never noticed how much this situation was affecting me, I went into my room and packed my clothes and booked a flight back to Cape Town. I can't stay here anymore. It's too much too handle. I'd rather deal with Khalil rather than Andii. I'm too broken to go through that again.
I order Bolt and go to the airport, it's leaving at six in the evening. So I'll probably be there by eight or nine. I didn't even tell my mom I'm leaving, she's going to be so mad at me. But she'll understand, she always does.
