Zuneir looked around his environment deep in thoughts. The sand was warm beneath his feet as the waves clashed against the rocks in a rhythmical manner.
The sun was high up in the sky stretching across the layers of bright blue clouds. From where he sat under a shade, he could see the different types of birds flying across the land gracing the land with their songs.
Though the weather was poetically beautiful, his heart was torn into pieces. He have moved out of home immediately after Eid. He needed time to think about his transgressions and acknowledge that what he did was wrong.
The image of a helpless Humeyra was still in his head every time he closed his eyes in hopes of finding peace. This only added to the torment of guilt that have filled his heart. On many occasions, he had imagined the same thing he did to Humeyra happening to his own sisters. The amount of rage that filled him was enough to increase his guilt and shame.
