[You have successfully joined with the System]
[Would you like to know more about it?]
-Yes- No
Rei selected 'Yes'. She already liked this System for getting rid of her injuries and the worry about an Ability. She wanted to know everything.
[Please Select an Inquiry]
-System Functions-
System User
Compadability Readings
She chose Functions first. As she was planning on learning everything, the order didn't particularly matter.
[System Functions]
Self-Assessment: by taking a look at the System User Inquiry, you can view your current status
Experience(exp): by completing tasks requested by the System, set by yourself, or asked by others, you can gain experience points to upgrade your status and level up
Leveling: a way to keep track of your experience as well as improve your status
Class Selection: choosing a specific aspect or skill you would like to pursue which the System will then focus on
Heal: mends minor injuries and allows you to heal faster
-System Functions can be altered as well as improved-
Rei grinned. A System based entirely on hard work and ambition, customized to her. It sounded perfect. She eagerly selected the 'System User' inquiry.

Rei was pretty excited now. She could know exactly how far she progressed, and she had levels and experience to explore. The possibilities just kept on expanding. She happily queued up the last inquiry.
[Compadability Readings]
Physical: 32.66%
Mental: 60.66%
Overall: 93.32%
-Compadability changes as you familiarize yourself with the System-
-Compadability can be lowered-
-Better Compadability means easier use of the System and more of its benefits-
Rei wasn't sure about the Compadability stuff, but she thought hers wasn't bad for now. She could always change it, and she doubted she could even use the System if the Compadability wasn't high enough.
She set thoughts about the System aside for now, and entertained ones of escape. How could she get out of this place?
[Task]
- Find your way out of the Hidden Headquarters
Reward: 10 exp
Rei really wanted to get out of there now. Her first Task! She wanted to know if anything happened when she gained exp.
She peered around the library once more to look for doors, but found none, so she went back into the hall and practically sprinted the way she hadn't explored yet.
It was back to nothing but rubble and dust. Rei sighed.
"Hey System, could you help me out here? What is the Hidden Headquarters anyway?"
[Inquiry not recognized]
[User needs a higher Compadability]
Rei shook her head, but it was mainly at herself. She shouldn't start depending on the System so readily. It was as if she'd forgotten her ideals.
She got back to exploring, the System remaining silent. She was bored of endless walking and her muscles were starting to cramp again.
"System, can I give you a name?"
[Would you like to name the System?]
-Yes- No
Rei thought for a while, still zipping down the corridors.
"How about Aspire?"
[Aspire has been accepted as your System Name]
[Mental Compadability with Aspire has gone up to 63%]
[Overall Compadability has gone up to 95.66%]
Rei's eyes widened. She hadn't expected that, and it was a nice bonus. She smirked.
"Aspire~ could you please tell me where I can find a map or blueprint to Hidden Headquarters?"
[A map of Hidden Headquarters can be found on the staircase]
Sweet talking worked on Aspire!? It might've been because of the Compadability increase, but Rei was hoping it was the sweet talk.
"And where's the staircase, my dear?"
[By the stairs]
Haha...Rei breathed in deeply, and tried not to rage at the apparent fact that Aspire could be a smartass. Maybe the System took after its owner?
She decided she'd explored a lot already, and could totally do this without help. She'd done everything on her own so far, why would she need help now?
She turned into a promising hallway with broken glass. People always put windows by the stairs, right?
Rei found the stairs. Only problem was, they were shit. No way could she find a map in that mess, if it had even survived. Wishing she could just go to sleep, Rei dragged on.
And ran straight into a wall.
She grumbled intelligently and was about to curse the wall, until she looked at it. It was actually a dull, rusty, and disgusting red door. Yet to her it appeared as the gates of heaven.
In worn letters it read,
'Em rga y xit'
She basked in the pleasure of pounding that door to pieces with her bare hands.
