An army of skeletons had brought once again hell on earth. Wherever they pass, countless zombies fell on the ground dying it black. Dense black mist hover around the army making it look like an army straight from hell where with the purpose of bringing extinction upon the lands.
In the middle if these dense skeletons is a young man looking like a 16 year old teen though quiet thin and wimpy looking.
Anyone who sees this scene will feel shivers deep in their soul. A pressure like no other is being exuded by these ethereal looking creature, even the young master looking like wimp in the middle who seems to be the only child of the God of Death exudes this kind of breath. But the truth is, Adam doesn't have any idea about it. As he level ups, his aura is constantly changing that any person who stood in front of him will instinctively be in awe or in fear. This is brought by the difference in life level. As Adam bath in the dark mist exuded by his army, unbeknown to him, his body was actually absorbing these aura making his presence like death itself.
As time passes, hundreds of zombies were harvested by the army from hell. The army which will later be known as Legion of Darkness in the future is in its budding period slowly letting the world know the birth of the one true [Lord].

Constant ringing was heard by Adam as hundreds of zombies fell. These ringing sound is a very pleasant thing to hear for Adam for it signifies an increase in his power and the only ticket he have to keep his puny life in this apocalyptic world.

'Just a few more and I can advance myself.' Adam is excited about the qualitative change that will happen once he reached level 10. As what the system said, his [ job ] can also advance once he reached this point. It is like those evolution type video games in his oast life where certain monster like beings will transform into a fiercer one once evolved.
' I hope I can retain my normal look though. What will I do if I suddenly grew wings? Won't I be treated as chicken barbecue by some hungry driven survivor in the future.' Adam shivers at the thought. He once watched cannibal themed movies where people are eating one another. This type of movie brings out fear to most children that's why extreme parental guidance are required.
As his skeleton uncles are bringing zombies down, the long awaited notification finally arrived.

" Congratulation host for reaching level 10. Rewarding 1 token, special item [ The scepter of the Lord ], [ Job advancement scroll ] and 1 [skill upgrade scroll].
The host will cross a major evolution stage and will be under extreme pain. To prevent the host from experiencing the pain, it is advised to undergo the evolution under [ offline mode ] where the host will be put in unconscious state. Would you like to activate [ offline mode ]?. You have 10 seconds to choose? Yes/No."

'System! Im still in the middle of the street! Do you want me to wake up only to realize that I am already a zombie's excrement?' Adam is in panic right now. He doesn't know if the [ Dark summon: Skeleton Warrior ] will be undone in [ offline mode ]. If in case the skeletons will disappear, he will become a five star Michelin rated cuisine for the zombies' banquet.

" Yes! activate [ offline mode ]!" Adam commanded the system.
Ding!
" The host will be under [ offline mode ] in 30 minutes. Please find a safe place to undergo evolution. Countdown: (0:29:59)".
Seeing the 30 minutes allowance, Adam hurriedly cleared a random building floor and directly making a perfectly sealed room.
After making sure that that his place of getting out from [ Garden of the King ] is safe, he entered his space and prepared for the countdown to finish.

" The host is in [ offline mode ]. Have a nice sleep host."
After gearing what the system said, Adam who was nervous about the supposed pain that he will undergo while unconscious suddenly fell to the grass inside the [ Garden of the King ], no sign of sleepiness or whatever. He just directly fell like a certain switch was turned off.
After several seconds, Adam's body is shivering. Looking closely, it can be seen that the muscles, skin and even the veins are squirming in the surface like countless worms is infesting the body. As time passes by, the squirming becomes more frantic like something want Adam's body to burst into pieces.
Gradually, dark red blood is being expelled towards the pores of Adam making him bloodied all over. His body exudes a strong smell of dirt which will make it anyone vomit at the moment of taking in the scent.
After tempering the flesh, the sounds of grinding and cracking bones followed. Adams bone were crushed again and again and then some sort of weird power reassemble it like new. With these tempering, Adam's body become extremely sturdy and even a bullet may only leave a mark on his body.
After 6 hours of tempering, everything returns to normal. Adam's feature is unrecognizable because of the thick layer of blood which dried up in his body. But even though he is in such a state, you can clearly depict the outline of his muscles that may not look so buff, it's firmness stay true to the power of the body. His height even changes which can be recognized at a glance. Before, Adam only stood at 5'2" with the malnourished body he occupied but now he is at 5'7" at least if not 5'8".
At microscopic view, each cell of Adam is actually pulsing at the moment. This indicate the unknown change in Adam's state after evolving. The violent energy is slowly being merged with his body and refining it to complete the evolution stage.
As the energy inside Adam was exhausted, the system hadn't lifted off [ offline mode ] on Adam but instead let it's host recuperate first.
For several hours, Adam is in deep sleep. The changes in his body is yet to be know and the world still didn't know what kind of existence is about to wake up in this apocalyptic world.
