Mia's POV:-
Next day I was all set for the match . James even came to pick me up so I wouldn't get late , my dad was already at the pack house . He had to discuss something with alpha .
We both stopped in front of fields .
" So, when it is gonna be ?" James asked
" During one hour lunch break so all warriors can enjoy too as everybody is free during lunch break ". I said
" But I don't get the hype , why is everyone so excited, you guys challenge each other all the time " I said to James .
" Well our female warriors usually don't do that , I have been coming to fields for years and they don't challenge each other ."
" They don't " , I said
" Nah they don't , they just train together , that's all . And news spreads fast we heard Audrey defeated a trainee warrior and you were trained by sir Benjamin and she by miss Kate plus you both are young. I think that's what the hype is about . " James said.
" Okay see you around lunch break, bye Mia " James said running off.
We(audrey and me) both trained for a while with Miss Kate then she left us alone 15 min before the match , when Roxanna came sauntering towards us . I didn't even know why she was coming here . She never talked to me before but then I realized her gaze was focused on Audrey . She came near us and Audrey whispered barely loud enough for me to hear," that bitch again when I told her not to bother me ".
" Challenging a 15 year old , are you fucking out of your mind Audrey . But I think that's fine you merely won by luck last time , it's better if you challenge her . Go challenge some new girls who are here training for self- defense next time ." Roxanna said smirking .
" Ah what a shame I thought you were better than this . Words can't truly express how much I fucking don't care about your opinion" Audrey said .
" For your information I defeated that girl fairly and I only challenged Mia not because she's 15 and it will give some satisfaction by defeating her or something like that . I only challenged her because she's capable enough only at 15 . And the next one on my list is you Roxanna . I am gonna beat you to a crap and I am gonna fucking enjoy it as well ".
I know it sounds evil but I was enjoying Audrey roasting Roxanna and I cursed myself for it .
Roxanna' s eyes turned black and she got into a fighting stance , we both stood up too . As Roxanna was about to attack , a voice boomed "what's going on here" , three of us turned around I saw my father and Miss Kate standing there glaring at us . Miss Kate stared at us for a moment
" Is there a problem girls"?.
" Nah I just wanted to wish them both luck " Roxanna lied flatly laughing nervously .
Audrey glared daggers at her and muttered so only I could hear " that two- faced bitch".
" Okay you both get into fighting ring and Roxanna gather warriors who want to see the match , we have one hour to enjoy the match and late beta Benjamin is here too , so go now" miss Kate said and Roxanna ran off.
Under 10 min everyone that wanted to see the match was gathered around the fighting ring , the only ones that didn't bother coming were beta David and Lucas I could see both of them at distance .
" Well we have got ourselves a good amount of audience , this is gonna be fun " Audrey said excitedly.
As we were both about to start , we heard a loud roaring voice " where is everybody , why aren't you all training " Alpha Rob was standing there with his cold eyes , the eyes that only held warmth once.We all stopped and there was pin drop silence for a moment . Finally my father stood up ,
" Alpha , our 2 little she -wolves are having a match , we settled the match during one hour break so others can see too if they want , they weren't slacking off it's just lunch break ".
" Hm, so where are the girls " Alpha Rob said .
Miss Kate gestured and we both came down I looked around and now everyone was here . Every warrior and trainee that was around was here even Lucas and Beta David too and it surprised me as they both weren't interested a bit minutes ago .
Alpha looked at me , " she's yours Benjamin isn't she I remember her ." and my father nodded and the other one " she's mine " , Miss Kate answered.
" Okay so guys can have your match and Benjamin make sure everyone gets back to training after break is over" Alpha Rob said .
" Alpha will you see our match too ? " I said slowly smiling at him . Everyone was surprised a bit even Audrey too , she was a bit nervous now too I don't know why . Alpha Rob stooped to my level and passed me a weak smile . I haven't seen him smile since that incident , " do you want me to stay ?" He asked and I nodded " okay get a seat for me Kate " alpha said . Instantly I felt someone's heated gaze on me I saw it was Lucas , he was standing right behind his father with beta David and he didn't look happy.
I diverted my attention back to our match , we both stepped into the ring and I saw Audrey was nervous now . I guess she didn't expect Alpha to show up . He rarely came out and even if he did he never stayed .
We took our stances and miss Kate stood between us and said" okay let's have a nice, clean fight."
Then she moved away and we both attacked each other at the same time . Audrey obviously had more stamina and strength because of her wolf but I had five years of training in my arsenal . We were both trained by the best and came from strong blood lines. There was only one way to win this fight that is to not drag this long enough and end it as soon as possible so I have to give it my best shot from the start . Last time when we fought together I noticed that my movements started getting a bit slower after 20 min where as hers remained the same so I just had to end this before 20 minutes and that's what I did .
17 min had barely pass and Audrey was pinned beneath me ,shock evident in her eyes .
I heard miss Kate's voice " that's it Mia wins " and I moved away from Audrey . When I heard someone clapping , I looked it was alpha Rob and then everyone started clapping . I offered Audrey my hand she hesitated for a moment then she took it and stood up . We both bowed a bit when we saw Alpha coming , he looked at me and then his voice boomed "David" and I saw beta David coming up " yes Alpha " he said.
" Get Mia whatever she wants right now , I enjoyed a match after a long time " , he said giving his credit card to beta David and smiling at me.
So alpha did remember me and my name I thought he would have forgotten.
" Right now , alpha" beta David said
" Yes right now " and then I saw Alpha walking towards my father and Miss Kate . Beta David took my hand and then he said " everyone of you get back to training , I am coming in a while " and everyone scurried off even though there was still time left before break was over but no one dared question beta David .
I saw James and he gave me a thumbs up from far away , I chuckled but instantly stopped laughing when my eyes landed on Lucas , the guy was furious . I didn't know why he was angry but it felt like his anger was directed towards me , maybe I am just imagining things . Beta David rushed me out of the fields towards his car.
