Thursday
Alissandra Cadence
Days have passed and there I realized that this is really real. Things actually went normal and kinda different from the things that happened before, but I just went along with it. It feels like I did change things but Jason still doesn't talk to me, which is weird. I still couldn't believe that happened, and I still don't understand what's going on. Tomorrow's already the midterm exam, again. It's already getting dark outside and I'm still studying in my room, bored as hell.
"Can I lay by your side? Next to you... You..."
I put my curtains aside and looked outside the window. I saw Elijah in his room, singing alone.
"And make sure you're alright, I'll take care of you..."
"I don't wanna be here if I can't be with you - tonight..."
My tears started to fall and I quickly closed my windows then laid in bed and hugged my pillow onto my face and started to cry it all out. Something just fell a few seconds later after I closed the curtains. I looked at the floor and - it's the cap, from that guy who killed Rebecca. I stood up and grabbed it and took a closer look at it. There's nothing so special about it except for the name printed on it, Jacob. There's nothing else on it that's why it didn't help anything about the investigation. I just hanged it back near the curtains and went back to bed and I suddenly heard my door close quietly.
Melissa Cadence
She does miss her sister so bad, I could tell. Uh, Rebecca, you could've grown up like your sister...
Friday
Alissandra Cadence
"Okay, class dismissed, your scores will be printed on the scoreboard by tomorrow."
I already went out and I saw Jason in the hallway leaning against the wall. I passed by him and he didn't even act as he noticed me...
(The way you look at me now ♫)
(It's different, just a bit, I admit ♫)
(The way you talk to me now ♫)
(Something's missing I can't tell what it is ♫)
"Hey, young lady, can you come down here for a second?" mom shouted downstairs.
"Coming."
I walked downstairs and there I saw a ginormous peach gown.
I did change every single thing.
"What's this for?" I asked.
"For the prom, see, it's so beautiful."
"How much is this, mom?"
"That doesn't matter, dear," she said as she removed the price tag and put it in her pocket.
"But you didn't have to do this, because I also don't want to attend either."
"What?! What do you mean?" she asked.
"I'm just not - feeling it..." then I frowned.
"Well, I ain't forcing you, dear. You can still wear this on other occasions, right?" she said with a smile.
"Yeah..."
"But make sure you think about that very carefully, I'm telling you Alissandra Cadence," she then pointed a finger at me.
"Yeah, right. I'm going back upstairs."
She just sighed and I already went upstairs.
Do I go to the prom? And if so, I'm gonna have no partner. Because I don't think McKenley will ever talk to me.
I woke up, and - it's one of those dreams again. Everything seems so blurry yet and -
"Nah, I don't trust you."
"You're probably plotting something so you can steal my candy,"
Everything started to clear up I looked at myself, it's me - the young Alissa. I'm back at that night. I looked at my hands, I looked at her -
It's now or never...
"OUCH STOP PULLING ME," then she started to cry.
I dragged her relentlessly, away from that area as I want to change everything. Everything, just for the sake of my sister...
"What's wrong with you?!" she cried. "I'm telling mom!"
CRASH!
"AHHHH!" she screamed as she covered her ears.
The car suddenly burst into flames and the driver quickly went out of the car when the car hit the wall and ran away.
I just hugged Rebecca as we cried.
"H-how did you k-know? Alissa?"
"Shhh..."
"Oh my God! Alissandra! Rebecca! Come here!" mom shouted as she approached us. "Let's get out of here! That thing's gonna blow!"
We quickly stood up and ran.
BOOM!
"Don't look back! Keep running!"
I suddenly stumbled and fell to the ground -
I suddenly woke up and sat on my bed. At the very moment I opened my eyes, everything is different. The room, the wall, my blanket, and the atmosphere around me. I looked around, and - there's another bed...
(8:12 AM) Jessica: Hey! Don't forget about later, okay? xoxo
What - the fuck?
"Alissaaa? You up already? I was just gonna ask if -"
A girl that is kind of like the same age as me suddenly walked in holding two dresses, one in each hand.
"Oh, you're up, I just wanna ask what will fit me better? This? or this?" she asked as she showed me both of the dresses.
"W-who are you?" I asked.
We look almost the same but I'm so confused as hell.
She suddenly smiled "What do you mean? Are you still half-asleep?" - and that's when I realized everything, that smile -
"R-REBECCA?!" I suddenly hugged her tight and we fell to the ground then I started to cry.
"Ow, heck. What's wrong with you today? I told you, you shouldn't have had that martini at Jessica's."
Oh God, this is literally her. My sister... I did it...
"Okay, enough with that, I still have a date to go to in an hour," then she pushed me and we stood up.
"Date? With who?" I asked.
She laughed "God, Alissa. Did you have amnesia or something?" then she picked up the dresses. "Now tell me, which will fit me better?"
"This one," I said then pointed at the black floral off-shoulder dress.
"Okie," then she went out already.
I laid in bed again while looking up at the ceiling, having some time to breathe this all in. It's so weird and yet it changed my whole life, I changed my whole life. It's like traveling through time. It's so confusing because I don't know anything about any of these nor my past in this timeline, with my sister. All that I know is from that past that I used to live with, which I consider a dream now. My longest wildest dreams.
I stood up and looked around the room, it just gives a whole new different vibe. I sat on the table and I found a notebook, or like a journal, which is - mine. I never knew I'd be into these types of things but this will truly help me.
March 14th,
I've been dreaming about the same guy from before, but last night we went somewhere beautiful, and it's called Le Perdu Parc de Mémoire -
April 1st,
It's him again, the man of my dreams, we rode a carousel together, we shared the ride as if we were lovers.
April 19th,
I had a terrible nightmare, a name is haunting me as if it has something to do with me, the name Jacob.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"Oh... Nothing."
"Don't tell me you're still thinking about that guy again that you're seeing in your dreams - and that Le Perdu Parc de something that doesn't even exist?"
Wait, what?
"Can you... tell me everything about us?"
"You're worrying me, Alissa, like for real, you need to stop," she said in a worried tone while fixing her dress.
"I just wanna know, please..."
"Okay but describe everything because I don't know what you're referring to," she said sarcastically.
"Nevermind..."
"Okay, I'll just start with us, we've been like best friends before, we do everything together, we nearly got killed by a car accident -"
"Wait, that was real?"
"Yeah? What do you mean? You're literally scaring the heck outta me, Liss."
"Continue," I said.
"Okayy? Uh - I don't know what to tell anymore," then she facepalmed.
DING!
"He's here, I gotta go now, bye sis!" she waved at me then went out of the room.
She suddenly came back "Gawd, I totally forgot that mom left already, can you come downstairs and lock the door?"
We went downstairs and she opened the door and I saw - him...
Elijah...
"Oh, hi Liss," he said.
Wait, he knows me?
"Hello El - I mean, Dwayne," I said then gave him a smile.
So, he's her date...
Okay...
"We're gonna go now sis, bye!" then she kissed me on the cheek.
I just waved at them as they walked away. I just sighed and leaned against the door after I closed it. It's fine, everything's good.
I'm fine...
I will be...
