One month later, Time had passed. During this one month, Argo had a steady and almost boring life consisting of going to school, chatting with Jared, taunting Kenny whenever he had the chance and occasionally teasing Adah.
It was a normal school life, but Argo detested it. He was longing for excitement and fun, he wanted to travel the world and cause trouble. That was his mantra!
But that was in the past, because today was the day. Today was the day they set off for the training camp. The previous day, the Principal had already instructed them to be at the school 6:00 AM sharp. They were also told to pack enough clothes, as they training was set to last for two months.
5:00am, all five members of the team were all punctual. They stood, impatiently waiting for the Principal to arrive. They stood there for one hour, before a faint humming sound could be heard. They raised there heads to the horizon, and could see the outline of a large bird getting ever closer to them.
Two minutes later, A large ship landed on the ground. The hatch opened, and the Principal came out of the ship. Coughing lightly to clear his throat, he said "Well, our ride's here. Let's set off!"
...
Fifteen minutes into the journey, the novelty of entering an aircraft for the first time had worn off. Argo was casually chatting with Jared while look out the window, when suddenly he received a system message.
[Ding. A substance has been detected in the air. Substance determined to be sleeping gas.]
[Substance nullified]
Argo found this message to be strange and when he looked around the cabin, he noticed that all four of his companions were asleep.
Then the loud sound of footsteps could be heard coming towards him, as he looked up he noticed a young man hovering above him.
"Only one person could resist the sleeping gas. How disappointing. Guess I'd have to bag you."
As he heard the young man mutter that, Argo finally understood what was going on. It was a test. And it looked like he was the only one that passed. He immediately pretended to finally succumb to the sleeping gas and pass out as the young man put a bag over his head.
Roughly about one hour later, Argo felt the aircraft gently decreasing in altitude. Some moments later, he felt the wheels of the aircraft touch the ground in a smooth and gentle landing.
Argo heard footsteps coming towards him, he pretended to still be asleep. He felt two hands hold him on his armpits and roughly drag him out like a sack of potatoes. He was pulled into a back of a truck with his fellow companions and he felt his head being hit by someone's feet.
He assumed it was Kenny, and vowed to get back at him later.
The car moved for about 20 minutes before stopping. Argo again felt himself being roughly dragged out of the car, before the bag over his head was removed.
Then the next moment, Argo could feel a splash of cold water being chucked on his face. His eyes opened instantly and all he could see was green grass.
He lifted his head to look around him. There were five of them standing in a daze on a plain open field. When they looked around, they were in a completely foreign environment.
"This is where you will spend the next two months of your life. And I can assure you that this will be the most hellish two months you've ever experienced in your life."
A young looking man with a clean-cut stood opposite them with a strange smile on his face.
The five students were amazed at what they saw behind the young man, they didn't even pay attention to what the man was saying.
