SARAH'S POV
Days had past and today is Friday. My class is morning and afternoon so my shift at the cafe was at night.
And Crane and I was supposed to meet this afternoon so I went and arrange the things I'm gonna need to discuss about the presentation.
And in order to do that, I went to the library. It's pretty big and have big bookshelves.
It wasn't so hard to find the book itself so I went and look for vacant seats so I can study.
Walking around. All seats seems to be occupied so I continued to walk and look for an empty seat.
There!
I was about to go when....
That JERK....took it.
He even smiled playfully at me.
I was about to go find for an emoty seat, but...
"Um, hey"...someone is talking to me?
I looked around and didn't see anyone but he patted me.
So I turned around and saw a tall man wearing a classy roind glass but I admit he's pretty handsome at some point plus the glass he's wearing.
"Do you need anything?"...I asked but he smiled. "No, it's more lik you need something right?"...he said. What is he talking about?
"Oh um, I noticed you're looking for an empty seat"..he said so I nod.
"Sonce I'm done you can have this seat"...he offered. It's the first time that someone offered me this kind of gesture.
"Oh, thank you"...I said and sat on the seat he offered. "Yeah, well you around"...he said and waved but I didn't care much and began studying.
Page after page, I found the things I need so I began scribbling it down to my notebook.
After that I will continue and open other books.
It was the last book I had and I was about to flip a page when suddenly a hand slammed it down.
"What the!"....What's this Jerk problem?
"What's your problem?"...I asked and slam my hand on the table even though it hurts a little bit.
He's not even responding so I glared at him. "Isn't kissing me enough?"...I said but not that loud just enough for him to hear.
Aish! Why did I bring that up?
"Do you have to play pranks on me again?"...I asked.
But he's just silent.
"Why aren't you answering? Huh?"...I asked.
Why? Why is he just silent. He's even staring at me.
It's frustrating me but before I could even move my lips to speak he grabbed me.
"Let's not talk here,"...he said calmly but with a hint of coldness coming from it.
And now he's acting cold.
I just tag along. It's no use even if I protested.
Reaching the schools garden, finally he let me go.
"What do you want?"...I asked.
"Look, I'm s-sorry for what happened yesterday"...he said out of nowhere.
"Stop bringing that up"...I said nonchalantly.
"What?! Can't you hear me? I said sorry"
"Is that an attitude of you being sorry?"
"Fine, I don't care if you accept it or not, I already said it so I can't take it back"...he said arrogantly.
"Jerk"...I mumbled.
"Tsh!"
"Fine, I'll accept it, but I don't wanna see you again...ever"...I said and started walking.
"Acting like boss, fine then, let's not see each other ever again...*sigh* ho humble of me fullfilling your request"...he said.
But I just ignored him.
I just walked and walked.
I'll just drop by the library to get my things.
It's almost time and I have to meet him.
"Fine, lets not see each other ever again"
I don't know, but it replays on my mind. On how he said that.
Arghh, just ignore it. It's good Sarah, pull yourself together.
After I get my things, I headed towards the gate.
I though he might be late but he's already there waving at me so I walked to him.
"Hey"...he greeted.
"Hey, so uh shall we go?"
"Yeah, of course"...he said and started walking beside me.
"It's kinda far away from here so I brought my car"...I presented but he laughed.
What's funny about it?
"I...brought mine too"...he said.
"Oh, shall we go seperately then?"...I asked. "No, I'll just ride with you"...he said so I nod.
When we reach my car I offered him the passenger seat and I drove.
Actually I know him.
He's one of that JERK'S friend
But nevermind, I need to do this for grades so I'll just hold till the presentation.
"We're here"....I announced and I unbuckled my seatbelt first. And he did the same.
After that we went in.
I was supposed to work but I asked for a day off because I need to do this presentation.
Proceeding to the counter, all etes of my co-workers were glued on me.
So I gave them a "what?" look.
"You didn't say that you're partner with a hottie, I should've reseeved the cafè for you"...said our manager while staring at Crane.
"What are you talking ab--"....and she even cuttes me off. "You can order anything, It's my treat"...she even winked at him that I couldn't even stand watching.
"No thank you, I'll pay, Sarah, what do you want"...he suddenky asked me so they're attention shifted on me.
"Just espresso"...I timidly said. "Okay, one espresso and one latte for me"...he said and as expected Karla, recueved his order.
"I'll just find a seat"...I said and he nod at me and continued waiting for his card.
I went and find seat. I looked around and I don't like the middle ones.
If more customers are coming we can't literally focus there so.....
There!
That corner would do.
While walking up to that seat, I heard the bell ring. It must be customer.
"Sarah!"....or not..
It's Lesley and.....that jerk...
Well I expected them here anyway. It's not like I know.
"Hey?"..I must've lost in my thoughts that I didn't even see Crane in front of me. "Hey, oh, sit down"...I offered and he did.
"Seems like your friend is here too?"..he said. "Yeah, with your friend"...he just nod forming an O on his mouth.
"So, uhm this is my notes about our presentation"....blah blah blah...
I tried to focus at our presentation but my acciently, I would take a glance sideward.
He seems serious about their work.
"Hey,"...he called. "Yeah?"
"Ahm which one of us are presenting?"...he asked.
"Oh uhm, since there's only one who'll be presenting, what do you think? Me or you?"...I asked him and he silenced a bit.
"I'll do it"...his expression seems funny so I smirked a little and look at the progress of our slideshare on my laptop.
"Okay then"...I said and we continued.
Most of the time he would try to insert funny things that made our conversation seems funny.
"Haha, you're funny"...I said and even hit him on his shoulders. Fudge!
I think anyone heard it so I remained calm.
"Was it too funny?"...he asked and I just smiled a bit. I'm afraid I'm about to burst in laugh again so I tried to be calm.
"Yeah"...I said.
Minutes have passed and we're almost done we just need to edit everything and we'll call it a day.
"Okay, Done"....I announced and we both stretch out.
"It was pretty tiring"...he said and I just nod at him and began folding my notes.
"Then, see you on monday"....I said and he nod. "Yeah, okay"...he said.
"Oh do you want me to drive you out"....I presented because he rode with me earlier so he left his car at the school.
"Right, I forgot my car at school, well I'll gladly accept your offer"...he said so we both headed out.
But before I could pull the door open, I accidently took a glance behind.
He's so focused...
Well, he better be....
"Let's go"....and I drove.
Soon we reach the school and I bid goodbye to him and we went on our seperate ways.
Water??
Oh it's raining...It's been a while since it rained in the city.
And It became colorful again...
Flashback...
"Mom, it's raining"....I said, we were about to cross the street and it happened to be raining. "Oh my, the weather forecast must've been wrong"...she said.
Was it not supposed to rain?
"It even said that theres only 10 percent chance of raining so it was suppose to be sunny"...she added.
"But that doesn't mean it wasn't gonna rain"...I said smiling at her and she pinched my cheeks.
"What a smart kid you are, here I brought us umbrella"
Walking into that crowded place, I even stick my hand out to feel the downfall of the rain in my hand.
"Don't do that you might bump your hand into someone"...mom said but I just ognored what she said.
End of Flashback...
I really admired the rain that time.
And the colorful umbrellas I see.
And I still...
Admire it right now.
*Screech* *Screech*
What's wrong?!
Looking back I immediately stop my car and got out.
It was still raining...and I went to check the problem.
