Lucifer watches as Beelzebub walks away,
Contented at the demons pulling his meal.
Lucifer then sighs and looks at Selaphiel,
"I'm still a bit angry about what you did to Beel."
The angel could not speak, pitiying the demon as well,
But he had no choice but to cast the curse, and throw him to hell.
He just looks on the opposite side, trying to ignore the pleas of the humans,
That were trying to get out, out of their captor's hands.
Lucifer noticed the silence, and the unbearable pity in his eyes,
That caused the demon to lower his head, and sigh.
"Selaphiel...do you have any idea how much that demon suffered?
If I didn't save some of my healthiest women to breed him food for all eternity,
He would have lost himself already.
I...do not ask you a lot of things while you're on my side.
But if you can, and it's possible, a remedy for his curse, can you provide?
I do not long to see the day where I'd cut off his head,
His hunger...it consumes him as well."
Selaphiel was surprised at the concern Lucifer was giving,
Which felt alien, and surreal to his feeling.
He suddenly remembers the young Lucifer he raised and love,
("Is it possible, that he's still in there, somewhat?")
"Lucifer..." He could only say as he observes his eyes,
Which were filled with pain, envy and pride.
He tried to look deeper, but Lucifer then raises his head,
As he looked at the angel, and grumpily asks, "What?"
Selaphiel smiles, and it brought nostalgic feelings,
Lucifer hated it, it made him change his breathing.
It was the same rewarding smile Selaphiel would give,
Every time, he did a good deed.
Selaphiel's smile did not last however,
After realizing the poor victims that suffered.
Beelzebub only craves more and more,
And if he isn't killed, the live eating will go on.
He looks away from the demon and quickly composed himself,
As Lucifer wasn't sure what he just felt.
"Selaphiel, wait."
The angel turned, and Lucifer seriously asks,
"Tell me the truth. Why did you join me in the first place?
What is it that you want?"

Joseph, even after losing both hands,
Stands bravely, protecting the shaking humans.
They have been locked in a dark room, where only Beelzebub's hungry breaths are heard,
Mixed with the heavy stink of blood, saliva and bones.
He opened his wings, covering the others,
And with the scene, Beelzebub faltered.
He backed away, not wanting to hurt anyone,
Despite the crushing hunger, refusing to be gone.
His stomach churned and everyone heard,
But than attack, he backed away more.
He then climbed up, to reach the locked window,
And with strong arms, opened it too.
His mouth started salivating,
Able to smell all the live creatures breathing.
He closed his eyes, and demanded everyone to leave,
Before he becomes no more, and could only think to eat.
"Take them...take them far away from here,
Where I can't...no one...no one can capture them, please hurry."
Joseph wasted no time helping the humans get out,
Making sure they're far away from the demonic kingdom, and sending telephatic messages, for all nearby angels around.
Hanah and her troops soon heard his distress,
And quickly aided him, but surprised of his present state.
"What happened? Why were you far away?
Where are your hands? How many are they, you haven't been able to take?"
Her questions went on, and on, as she wraps his hands with cloth,
And even if he wanted to go back, she refused his demand, thinking it was a silly thought.
"Your sister is waiting for you, terribly worried,
You also can't go back there, you're visibly injured, dear."
"There are more humans in the prison cells,
Meant to feed Beelzebub if he doesn't feel well.
But I...perhaps I was truly silly,
Lucifer was there, with Selaphiel,
so I also won't also be able to escape easily."
"Pardon?" Hanah blinked in disbelief,
"Then how did you escaped? With this condition and risks?"
"I...Beelzebub, I think he wanted to change,
He opened the window for us, "Leave this place," he said,"
Hanah felt her heart pound in hope,
Wanting to meet the demon in person,
"I...may not be able to save the humans alone,
But...I might be able to save a demon."
"Pardon?"
It was Joseph's turn to blink in surprise.
.
.
.
Beelzebub dropped to the floor,
Feeling immeasurable pain, killing him to the core.
He growled, angry, blaming himself for his own misery,
If only he haven't given up to temptation, he wouldn't be this disgusting demon of gluttony.
He could smell himself clearly,
Stinking of blood, like a wild dog, hunting for rabbits.
It felt degrading, unpleasant, pitiful,
But he couldn't help himself, all he wanted that point, was his stomach to be full.
The door was unlocked, a she-demon appeared, supposed to clean the room,
But Beelzebub told her to get away, as he isn't yet full.
"That's alright Master, I will tell Lord Lucifer to give you more food."
Beelzebub's chest panicked, wanting no more.
He was thinking about dying.
To just die and not be able to hurt others.
But it felt nearly impossible,
When his stomach yet again churned.
His orange eyes turned crimson,
As his coherent thinking were thrown.
He growled like a mad animal,
And in a quick zoom, the she-demon was done.
He felt depressed knowing how much he enjoyed it,
How much his teeth enjoyed chewing on her flesh,
How much he enjoys the taste of blood and bones,
But never the feeling of him craving more.
She screamed, begging Beelzebub to stop,
Telling him she'll give anything, but none was enough.
He couldn't hear her speak, he was still trapped in his own head,
Where he felt...even more hopeless.
He ate her till she became bones,
But her screams had already managed to echo.
The door...he forgot it, it wasn't closed.
So more she-demon came, and the results were obvious.
He ate them all.
When Hanah came back,
She was shocked of the results.
The angels behind her urged her to stop,
Since Beelzebub cannot clench his thirst.
Hanah crumpled her fists,
Pitying the scene.
Knowing that Beel did not wanted this,
And wondering if Selaphiel's punishment had to be this extreme.
Despite everyone else's protests,
Worried that she'll end up dead,
She flew towards him, though afraid,
That she, herself, may end up on his plate.
Beelzebub was able to smell the angel,
And fought himself to retain his senses,
He looked at her, and gestured her to get out,
Before anything worse happens, before he opens his mouths.
Hanah's hope proved to be less stronger,
Unable to battle Beelzebub's growing hunger.
The demon, no longer able to control himself,
Charged at the unready angel.
One of her members shielded her,
As one of Beelzebub's teeth clenched to her arm,
She pushed him aside and told the angel to leave,
As Beelzebub tried to back away, apologetic for what he did.
"Laelynn, I...I'm sorry, I was wrong,"
"No need to talk for now, Ma'am, we need to get out.
It's too late to save him now."
The words were clearly heard by Beelzebub,
Making his heart bleed and throb.
He watched in a state of melancholy as his hope to be redeemed fly away,
While he's still trying to hold himself back from attacking them.
Tears fell from his eyes, as he stares at the moonlight,
If only, if only he didn't listened.
If only he didn't try to get his curiosity win,
Maybe, he would be with them.
"They were so pretty, and they smell nice,
They look modest, and they could fly.
I...feel jealous, regretful even,
Gah, what was I even thinking?"
His next words weren't able to make much sense,
As his sobbings were heard the best.
He dugged his nails unto his own flesh,
Angry, deeply angry at himself.
.
.
.
Hanah wanted to help him very much,
But seeing his state, he still have a lot to overcome.
It was hard to watch his soul trapped in a body of a monster,
Whose appetite, will get only worse.
If only, there was something she could do.
As they fly on the skies,
Retrieving more bodies to their side,
Several thoughts flooded her mind,
Until she heard a pained sigh.
She looked at the wounded angel,
Whose arm, was still bleeding from the bite,
It would be silly if she asks her if she's alright,
So she only gulped and again, apologized.
The angel only looked at her and silently smiled,
Unable to speak anything, as it still hurts inside.
Hanah felt guilty as she knew it was her fault,
Had she heeded their warning, it wouldn't have occured.
They soon arrived at the tower,
Where the angels are discussing on how to finish Lucifer.
Her presense alone gave them all a feeling of somber,
Her eyes looked hurt, feeling useless that she hadn't put much to the table.
The sad expression made it clear she had an unfinished business,
The moment she was able to return to the rest.
Michael asked her but she wouldn't open,
Thinking deeply, of what could she have done to help them best.
"You're not supposed to feel such way,"
Michael told her, unused to her hopeless state.
"Oh, Michael, will our brothers be redeemed?
I wanted to help them badly, but it seemed as though my idea of unity is a dream.
If...if only it's as easy as it seems."
Michael would have answered her,
But their conversation was interrupted by a loud thug of thunder.
