Azazel went back to the door he kept locked,
Where Eligorr awaits, with two figures in the dark.
"I guess they knew my importance and value,
They even hesitated, to stop me, what a fortune.
For now, Stacy, correct? Ah, my beloved pet,
I will now rename you Scylla, a beautiful name with no death.
Though you are my little soldier,
I doubt Ken would still inspect you further,
I am sure that after all those time, you are mine, aren't you not?
So I will send you away, but don't forget to come back."
Jacob, who was beside Stacy, impulsely followed her through the door,
Until Azazel held his wrist, "Sorry, but your companionship will be torned.
I have a mission, just for you, little one,
Let's tease some...other demon, say, just for fun.
Lucifer rarely brings me a human to toy with,
Making them work on those guns, what a shift!
So, I guess I'm a bit bored and needed some screams,
I guess you could bring someone to lift my spirit?"
Jacob, no longer able to think of his own,
Nodded as he spoke in a melancholic tone,
"I will do so, Master, I will bring you your toys,
Please wait patiently," Jacob said, not changing his voice.
Azazel smiles as a lump of smoke gathered in the room,
Samael appeared, although there's a hundred stitches and wounds.
The mad scientist felt no emphaty, that the once smart and mighty creature,
Was now but a broken toy, with a very unlikely figure.
His minions felt soulless,
felt nothing but vessels,
As Azazel kept laughing to himself,
"I'm far better than Lucifer!"
Samael bowed down, as Azazel felt more proud,
"Carry on your mission, don't stop till the base is not found.
I know Samael had a connection with the forest fairies,
Use it to your advantage, they'd lead you to our enemy.
I'm sure you remember who you once were,
You are both friends, allies, of those far away.
Manipulate them, destroy them yet again,
As I destroy this side, let them both crumble in pain.
Michael is a headless angel,
And Lucifer is a childish king,
Both are mere failures,
And I'd make sure to both break their wings."
Eligorr felt the darkness suffocate the room,
As Azazel gestured, for the two to leave, before the fall of the moon.
Azazel was so confident, his spirit unwavered,
As Lucifer was in his room, thinking his victories had no flavor.
"Oh, Lucifer. You had all the things in the world,
And that is your problem, you have something now precious, you struggle to hold,
I have nothing to lose, I have disposed of my weakness,
And that is why, you'd fail, doesn't matter if you leave this hell place.
I'll make sure...you'd no longer keep me in the dark,
I'll make sure, you'd no longer use me just for my smarts.
Selfishness and arrogance, how they fueled me to kill all you love,
Keeping me in the bottom, will make me strive more to reach the top."
...
Stacy's stern face changed into a scared little girl,
As Samael's lifeless eyes, turned into a demon who is confident and wise.
They searched the place, though still surprised of the sight,
They can feel no pain, but felt a pinch in their heart crystalize.
They dismissed the chaos that surrounded the world,
As they ventured the place, now flawed and broke.
They kept pretending they were their former shells,
Humble and mellow, even though that's not the case.
"There! The birds are headed that way!"
Stacy yelled, as she ran away.
Samael followed, but saw the forest which Lucifer burned the night before,
Only a few trees stood, as most are either broken, or chalked.
"How depressing, we've been searching for fairies in hours,"
Samael said, forgetting his former powers.
"Just keep searching, but let's stay away from this place,"
Stacy replied, seeing some vultures, looking at Samael's stitched skin like steak.
"I think your fresh wounds look like food to them, Samael,"
"Tsk, I was once decapitated for all I care,
I don't own anything I have now, and all I know,
If we please Lord Azazel, then our blood won't spew."
"Well, guess we'd have a long walk searching for those flying creatures,
Just so we can find, another bunch of annoying creatures,"
"The body you have now, was once the annoying creature you're talking of,"
"But I'm no longer one, aren't I? I'm no longer soft."
Samael nodded, as he looks at his wounds,
Some needles were hanging loose.
"Well, do you want me to patch it up?"
"Huh? That would slow us down."
"What would slow us down is if your hands suddenly fall off,
So just sit on that rock over there, do as you're being told,"
Samael found her bossy, but realized she meant no harm,
So he followed her obediently, sitting in the rock, that was painfully warm.
Good for him however, Azazel removed their feeling of pain,
So he didn't even noticed, the smoke appearing on his tail.
"Mm, are you really once the great Samael?
You can't even pay attention to your tail."
Samael looked, and saw that it's almost burning,
He stood up surprised, "Well, you told me, here is where I'm supposed to be sitting!"
"Yes, I did, but I didn't expect you to just sit,
I brought some blankets to cover these."
"You didn't told me earlier!"
"Well, you didn't asked either!
Ugh! Lord Azazel should have just let Jacob came!
He's more docile, obedient, and sane!"
Samael felt insulted but had no interest in fighting back,
So he just snatched the blanket, roughly from her hands.
He put them down, as he puts his arms near her side,
"So, just do your thing, fix them as you want."
Stacy rolled her eyes, as she began to stitch,
"What did Lord Azazel gave you? The blood of a witch?"
"I don't know, and I don't want to know,
Lord Azazel strictly forbid us, to further explore beyond what we're told."
"Yep, definitely a witch, you're hot-headed as hell!"
"And for a demon that earned Lucifer's respect, you're clueless to tell,"
"Tsk, just...focus on what you're fixing there,
You're yelling to much, your stitches may not end up well."
"No, I'm making sure your wounds won't open a second time,
But your flesh is hard, and if I waver a little, the fault's not mine."
"Well, Lord Azazel told me that Beelzebub is weakened,
I didn't expect him to scratch and bite me, I'm close to being eaten!"
"He won't be one of the mains, if he's an easy kill,
So next time, don't underestimate your opponent if you will,"
"Not entirely my fault, I was being controlled all that time,
Nemue controlled me, so the decision's not mine."
"Sucks that the witch controlling didn't pay much attention beforehand,
Beelzebub is still a strong monster no matter what,"
"Tsk, I'll make sure to kill him with my own, next time,"
"Are you certain? Are you sure you won't end up confined?"
"You're such a teasing witch, I hate you already,"
"Whatever, for a highly demon, you're such a baby."
"Well, I am not the same, and so are you!
I don't know what I did in the past, and the same goes for you,"
"I'm just saying, if you wanted to be authentic, at least try to look intimidating,
The fairies we'll encounter then, may get suspicious if you're bad at acting,"
"Easy for you to say, pretending all sweet and weak is easier,
Than pretending to be a well-known mediator."
"It's not my fault my role is easier,"
"And it's not my fault if I can't perfect mine either!"
"*sigh* Fine, I'll teach you how later,
For now, let's focus on patching you up, and let's argue after."
...
Ken watched with a bright smile,
As Mar learned how to use spears quickly, in just a few tries,
Selaphiel looks at him, "So that's how humans look at their beloved?
So admirable, I think you two are perfect."
Embarrassed, Ken turned away,
As Jacq laughed with the clear blush on his face.
"You don't have to be shy about it though,
I remembered my dead girlfriend again,
Oh, how the memories go."
Ken couldn't tell what he should feel for his statement,
The words were dark, but he was smiling as if he enjoyed it,
Further confused of how to act, he simply proceeded to watch Mar attack,
"She's a fast learner, I'd give you that."
Selaphiel clapped his hands,
Signalling the angel Joseph to stop the fight,
"I think Ken's beloved had had enough,"
Ken felt shocked, at the teasing remark.
He futher buried his face on his palms,
As Mar laughed, the banters to her were no harm.
Selaphiel chuckles as he pats Ken's back,
"Don't worry about it, I didn't mean to mock.
I am just amused at how one could find love amidst tough times,
It's truly amazing, and it's one of a kind.
If you think about war, you rarely think of someone else,
Most men, only look after themselves.
But it's great joy that you have found happiness at the center of destruction,
And I simply think, that such thing is a rare occasion."
Selaphiel said as Ken paused,
"How admirable you found someone, despite all the loss."
