The demons scattered,
As their hope quickly shattered,
Hide as good, as thieves would,
They know their end, will never be good.
The air felt still and suffocating,
As every place they tried to hide feels terrifying,
And every sound, they hear felt like death,
They cried and they pray, for their end has been set.
They recalled all their shortcomings, and their childhood,
They recalled all their decisions, both bad and good,
One woman cried, as the other before her tried to comfort her,
But she didn't stop, told her that she greatly miss her daughter.
The demon listened quietly, as he gently approaches them,
Licking his mouth, oh how long have he waited,
He stepped closer and closer, his breath being heavier,
"I know you're there, sorry you won't meet your daughter,"
He retracted his claws, while his eyes burned and glow,
Drooling as he walk to them, laughing so they know,
They screamed, tried to get up, but their feet just won't go,
They looked at each other's eyes,
"If only I had known,"
The demon revealed itself, no longer a pretty being,
It's blonde hair and white skin now turned red and crispy.
His horns were long, black and burning,
As it's eyes were deep orange, while his mouth
were still drooling.
He growled, to scare them more, but they were already losing it,
Insanity kicking in, they began to laugh, said "Screw it,"
They tried to fight, but failed, painfully and miserably.
As the first older woman attacked,
Her fists were locked, so very quickly.
The demon twisted her hand, while she yelled in pain,
"You dare fight a demon? Have you grown insane?"
Then the younger woman, tried to help all she can,
But try as she may, there's truly nothing she could have done.
The demon smiled at her, and pitied her fortune.
He looked at her, daringly, and laughed,
While she's watching, he proudly, cut off the old woman in half.
"You're next, you want me to give you a head start?"
The woman cried, and cried, nothing else she could do.
She readied herself, to face her certain doom.
She remembered her family,
She was a mother of two,
Oh she shouldn't have gone away,
But she did it to give them good future too.
"How sad", thought the demon as he looks into her eyes,
"Why can't humans deserve something nice?"
The demon laughed at the question she asked,
But before he replied, he swallowed the upper half before her eyes.
She felt shocked, speechless as he devour her companion,
But the demon paid no mind and got back to her question,
"God offered you so much time, to seek for true salvation,
But you lavished in comfort, without any hesitation,"
"Who wouldn't love comfort? I did deserve, don't I?" The woman tried to reason,
But unimpressed was the big demon.
"As long as you live in this realm,
Comfort will always have consequences,
Unless you ascend to heaven,
Then pure bliss and happiness,
No further nuisance,"
"Why are you doing this? Why are you making people suffer?"
"Oh we didn't completely, half of it was your doing,
We just don't want to suffer alone, and had to drag you all to it,"
She looked at him in the eyes,
And tried to be brave at these trying times,
For her family, she thought,
Perhaps she can trick the demon,
Into changing his mind.
"Please, is there anything I can offer?
So you won't eat me for supper?"
"But what can a petty human, give me in exchange?"
"I can give you, my cheating husband,
He's hiding on the closet, on just the other door,
I assure you he's bigger,
Something you wanted more,
But please spare me, for I needed to live,
To take care of my daughters,
So a bright future I could give."
The demon laughed,
"That information, I surely don't need,
For I can tell, where everyone here,
Is hiding from me,
More so you cannot simply,
Offer me a deal,
We are the ones to say that,
My lovely, naughty meal...
But since you are interesting,
I'll give you one more chance,
I'll give you fortune and money,
If you give me just one thing,"
The lady smiled in joy,
Goodness, she'll finally be free.
From poverty and sickness,
How lovely that would be.
But then she felt something strange,
He is the Devil after all,
"What would be the price in exchange?"
She asked, no way she'd easily fall.
"One of your daughters, for a guarantee you'd be safe till the end of the world,
And though a demon, I make true of all my words,"
The woman cried, truly no mother would consider this,
She would rather die,
Than to live knowing she killed one of them.
Suddenly she heard a man shouting,
Running from another demon,
Turned out it was her spouse, wanting nothing but to escape.
He overheard the condition, and quickly said that he agrees,
The woman enraged, yelled at him,
"How can you do this??!"
The two demons looked at each other,
My, my, what they're thinking I wonder,
Then they told them that one of them should be killed,
And The survivor won't further suffer.
The man was not hesitant, as he murdered his wife,
While the woman's last thoughts, was of her children,
To be alright.
The man laughed, in comfort,
His sanity slipping.
But the demon were usually, also laughing.
They got closer, and closer,
Their scary teeth clearly showing.
"You naughty ones always tastes the best,"
"But dear friend, don't eat it yourself,"
They told each other, while looking at him.
"How helpless you are, Lord Lucifer would be proud,
Knowing he has planted evil, in your heart all around,"
The demons closed the door shut,
As his screams echoed wild.
Every limb was broken, and his gut removed,
He cried for help, but no one dared,
as what should.
