Jerico had always been in love with Gabby. Since the first day he had his eyes on her. But...is bad at expressing his feelings.
The day he found out she already had someone special...his heart broke into a million pieces.
Her green eyes, so full of love and innocence, those eyes he so much dreamed of...now looks at someone else who he knew he couldn't beat. After all, who would love him? A mediocre at everything.
He bows down, looking at his computer while trying to hold back tears.
Red sensed his aura and smirked a little. Young love, he thought...could surely be devastating.
After all...Gabby's 19. So it shouldn't be a shock if she ever has a boyfriend.
Red comes closer to the man he knew likes Gabby. And softly smiles and whispers reassurance that it'll only be temporary.
RED: She'll be yours after I become strong enough to put her trouble into oblivion...
He knew the man wouldn't hear, only feel his presence...but at least Red thought that it would calm the human a bit.
After all...he isn't planning on keeping her forever.
He felt guilty though. Inflicting pain to another man.
Somehow Jerico felt a soothing force on his shoulder. He smiled. And hoped that someday, Gabby and he would be together.
Sadness would wash away.
And love would win...his way.
Red paused for a moment, after realizing the smile that formed on Jerico's lips. He looked at Gabby, then again looked at him.
What smile does he have?
He shrugged it off and concentrated.
He shouldn't be paying attention to those things...who cares if it's a smile for something else?
Gabby glanced at him, knew he wasn't keeping his cool. Red although invisible to the others by this time, felt vulnerable...even if it was just her who noticed his uneasiness.
He smiled to assure her.
RED: You seemed to have had an admirer.
Her eyes bulged in shock and then giggled. She couldn't talk. Or she'll look like a weirdo. She just sighed and continued working.
Red looked at Jerico again then frowned.
RED: You better be a good guy.
Gabby looked at him again, then giggled. That's when Tiwari noticed.
TIWARI: Um, you looking at Jeri?
GABBY: Oh, no, no...I'm looking at his work.
TIWARI: *gives a knowing smile* Oh, really? Okay then sister, I won't judge. After all, you already have your precious baby boy.
GABBY: You're making it sound like I partnered with a minor.
TIWARI: Eh, by the way...what's your endearment?
Gabby froze. She don't know. She haven't had a boyfriend before...
RED: Tell her I call you Ladybug, and you call me Lil' Dragon. *snickers*
GABBY: What? (In response to Red)
TIWARI: Huh? You don't have one?
GABBY: Oh, um...we have one...uh, I call him uh...dragon...and he calls me um...bug...I mean Ladybug!
TIWARI: Mmmm...you need to change it up a little you both sound like kindergarteners picking a call sign for one another.
GABBY: I'm just joking, it's actually love. Yeah, we call each other love!
TIWARI: *snickers* You are a terrible liar, Gabby bear. See? Even I, had a better call sign for you...than...than that Ladybug thing, you know!
Gabby felt embarrassed and Red tried to look away, knowing that he messed up too.
