It was 1641, when the worst curse among pirates occurred, as a consequence of the arrogance and arrogance of a captain.
I remember that the bourgeois captain of Holland called Willem van der Decken, felt pride in his ship and his crew who, boasted that he was the best of all pirates and that no one could surpass him.
Also, he boasted that he could go through the most turbulent seas and through all the most difficult tests, set by God and that there is no one in the world who could overcome it.
And sure enough, he, his ship and the crew, had the record of passing through absolutely all the most difficult tests, set by God; But what nobody knew is that the captain had made a pact with the Devil, defying God himself.
God, who is always watching us, found out what the captain did (pact with the Devil in person), who cursed him, his ship and his crew, to sail for all eternity and whoever saw them would be cursed.
Because of that, the ship is named Fokke and the captain is named Falkenburg. Many pirate ships who, have seen the Flying Dutchman, have had all the bad things done to them, including, their own deaths.
The rumor has spread that everyone who has seen the ghost ship has had the worst of deaths and, strange things have happened to them, before dying.
To this day, the ship is still sailing aimlessly and they, from time to time, grieve at home.
