Walking to the store, Lorren notices that there is a bit of a line outside. Continuing on his way, he begins to have second thoughts.
'Should I really wait in line for this? I know it sounds cool and all, but…'
Lorren began thinking, but before he could finish his thoughts, he noticed someone wearing a hoodie and dressed in all black. Realizing he seems a bit suspicious, he backs away, getting ready to leave. However, as the line gets a bit noisy from the guy seemingly trying to cut in line, he rushes to the register, pushing aside a few people in line. Before they can scold him, though, he pulls out a gun, pointing it at the register.
"T-this is a r-robbery! Put the money on the c-counter!"
From his voice, he seems nervous, to the point that you can only believe it's his first time doing this. Believing it to be a joke due to the stutters, the cashiers begins to roll his eyes before the guy in black points his gun at him.
"D-don't move, or I will sh-shoot!"
Visibly shaken from the realization that this isn't a joke, he hurriedly complies in fear of getting shot. The crowd begins to disperse, with a few calling the police. However, as the man realizes this, and knowing he can't go against a crowd alone, he grabs the money currently on the counter, shoves it into his pockets, and runs. Coincidentally, Lorren happens to be standing in front of him. At the same time, the street is right behind Lorren.
"M-move!"
Shoving Lorren aside, the robber continues moving along. However, he managed to push Lorren into the road. Before Lorren can react, a truck that seemingly had no driver slammed into him, causing him to lose consciousness. Or so he thought.
