Chereads / StarSeed: The Story of Creation / Chapter 12 - Chapter 11: Serenity's Story

Chapter 12 - Chapter 11: Serenity's Story

When I was a little girl, I lived on a wonderful planet called Nibiru. Nibiru was a beautiful planet. The skies and seas were a light shade of red, and three great planets rotated around Nibiru, like vibrant colorful moons. Nibiru was full of wondrous valleys and mountains; covered with plants and trees, and home to our species known across the galaxy, as the Anunnaki.

In ancient times, my people believed everything was the creation of the great sky god, Anu, and the Goddess of the primordial waters, Tiamat.

However, our world had a story like many others, a story so dark my people buried it in our history in shame; never to be taught to future generations. The old ways were abandoned and the belief in our gods slowly began to die out. My grandmother never let the stories die from her family, they lived on through her ancestors and she passed them down to all of us.

We all used to huddle around the fires at night as the stars shined down upon us, our glorious moons so beautifully visible in the night sky. Grandmother would tell us the stories of the ancient ones. The first lifeforms of Nibiru.

The ancient ones believed the entire universe was created from two great celestial beings:

The first was Tiamat, the goddess of the primordial waters. They believed the cosmic seas in which the stars and planets floated, were all created by Tiamat, she was the force that held all things within the universe in place forever afloat in her celestial seas.

Then there was Anu,

The god of the skies and the air, he was the cosmic breath of life that filled the planets and stars with life.

The two cosmic forces were alone, adrift for eons, until one day, they found each other. Within, the vast, empty, lonely, void of space, they came closer, and closer to one another and immediately embraced each other in love. Tiamat's cosmic seas collided with Anu's cosmic breath; the all mysterious air of space. The darkness of space lit up in a great spark full of light, for the first time, as they collided together.

Within their collision, and from that light, Tiamat gave birth to all the wonders of the universe. She created the stars that lit our night sky, all of the planets and moons floated around in her primordial waters, forever, safe with her.

Anu's breath of light, filled all of Tiamat's creations, giving the gift of life. They created celestial children throughout all of the cosmos in their love, so they would never be alone again. Nibiru was one of their later children. Many years went by and all of the celestial beings lived in peace and harmony within the universe. Until one day, the life-force of Nibiru; known to the ancient people as the Goddess Ki, decided she wanted children of her own. Little by little, she sacrificed portions of her own life-force and created new lifeforms to live and love forever within her. She favored one of her creations the most and called them, Anunnaki.

Anu blessed his daughter's creations and cherished them. Tiamat loved the creations of Ki so much she brought Ki's nearby siblings closer so they might see the wonderful creations and do the same. Tiamat's waters poured down from the cosmos onto Nibiru and formed many beautiful rivers and valleys for the new species. Together the three celestial forces molded the lives of the ancient ones until they could survive on their own.

On Nibiru, Ki's lifeforms were taught the pure understanding and value of their planet. They would need to protect and preserve it. They treated the planet like their mother and worshipped the skies and waters as their God and Goddess. The planet gave them all they would need to live long happy lives. They constructed homes from loose stone, they made temples to praise the gods they worshipped. After much time, the gods had to leave, they had much to do in the universe. Ki was taken with them and immortalized forever as a Goddess on Nibiru. Ki would help all other worlds produce new species within them if they so desired it. The Anunnaki were given dominion over all of Nibiru and left alone, as their gods departed, they promised to someday return to them.

Much time had gone by, the ancient ones multiplied hundreds of times over. They had learned from their great celestial gods, in love, more life can be created. For love was the only way to produce the light of a new soul.

One day, a race of extraterrestrials visited the planet of Nibiru, many of the ancient people came to greet them as they descended from the skies in what they called metal boats. They danced and rejoiced thinking the great gods were returning from their travels as they promised.

Upon seeing them, the ancient ones immediately were horrified. They looked nothing like their gods. They shared no features with the Anunnaki either; other than their large sizes. These creatures were, large, green, scaly, lizards. The Anunnaki believed the lizards to be some form of an intelligent beast, like those they hunted on Nibiru; but nothing they would eat.

The lizards they hunted on Nibiru still walked on four legs and were a terrible nuisance. These reptilians before them walked upright and were highly organized. Their flying machines alone intimidated the priest. The Anunnaki decided there must be other species their gods had given life to. Excited to meet their cousins from the stars, they ran to greet the lizards. Upon seeing the Anunnaki the lizards quickly began to scatter, they grabbed their weapons and prepared to fight. The Anunnaki began to become nervous and slowly backed away. A large lizard ran between both species, it held its claws in the air and screeched at his kind. The other lizards began to lower their weapons. The Anunnaki priests felt more comfortable now. The large lizard screeched and clicked, the other lizards scattered, grabbing objects for them to sit on. The Anunnaki priests sat down with the large lizard who seemed to be in command. They tried to communicate for hours but were unsuccessful. The large lizard made hand gestures The Anunnaki priests could not understand. After some time of speaking, the reptilian began to pick up on bits of their language. He was able to tell them his name,

Nergal.

He then was able to describe to them the word home, and friend. The Anunnaki assumed Nergal was asking to live there as their friends. They shook their heads yes in approval. Who were the priests to deny a home from the children of Ki, they thought?

The reptilians began their work on Nibiru and stayed away from the Anunnaki settlements.

Grandmother told us, the reptilian lizards began destroying the lands given to them by the Anunnaki priests. They dug massive holes in her grounds, they blasted craters into mountains.  They drained the rivers and directed them into their camps. The lizards began constructing metal homes for themselves, they tore down all the trees in the area they occupied. Day by day, they had torn apart their portion of Nibiru more and more. When the Anunnaki returned with the priests to visit their new friends. They were horrified.

Many fell to the ground sobbing loudly upon seeing the destruction of their beautiful trees. The Anunnaki males shouted in rage at the craters of the mountains. The priests angrily ran to a group of lizards digging into the ground with a great big machine. The priests pushed the lizards away and shouted at them pointing at the machines. The lizards backed away in terror. The machine continued to borough deep into Nibiru. The priests became furious, they could not figure out how to shut the machine off.

Nergal spotted the commotion from afar, he instantly came running to the machine, he knew they must have wanted it off. The priest became angrier and angrier yelling and chasing the lizards away. All they wanted was for them to shut the machines off. The lizards could not understand and were terrified. One of them quickly grabbed its weapon and turned it on several of the priests.

Nergal roared as in defiance to the decision his comrade was about to make.

Nergal was too late.

The lizard fired its weapon and several red flashes struck some of the priests. The Anunnaki screamed in terror and ran. Two of the priest remained as they struggled to figure out how to shut the machine off still. They heard the loud shots and watched as several of their brothers and sisters fell dead. They ran away in fear. All the Anunnaki fled.

The Anunnaki mourned. They wanted the bodies of their priests so they could be returned to Ki. They were terrified to go back. The two remaining priests rebuked the beasts. They cursed them and declared,

"they were demons who could never be the children of Ki!".

They decided to pray to their gods for many days. They asked Anu the sky god to show them a sign. As they prayed to the skies, they asked Anu,

"Great lord above, he who is most high, please answer our call. Invaders are destroying our lands and killing our people. Horrifying beasts that defy the beauty of all creation. Should you demand us to fight against these beasts, show us a great sign within your sky. We will sacrifice them in your name, and restore our planet to the glory it once was."

After a few days of prayer, a huge flaming ball shot across the night skies. It lit up the entire sky and exploded in beautiful colors. It was unlike anything they had ever seen before. The priest determined this was the sign they sought from Anu, they gathered all of the people of ancient Nibiru. They told them, to have no fear of the monsters who have desecrated their lands. That Anu has blessed the Anunnaki and demanded sacrifice. They collected their hunting weapons, which were nothing compared to that of the reptiles. The priest claimed, Anu had told them to wipe these creatures from their planet. If they did not stop them all, they believed Tiamat would release the planet from her waters forever sending it adrift and they would all surely die.

Thousands of them waited till nightfall,

The two priests hid and watched the lizard's camp closely. Nergal and a few lizards left the camp once the night came, the priests followed them and watched from afar. The priests bore witness, as Nergal loaded a giant cannon and fired a flaming ball into the sky, it exploded into vibrant colors. Next to the cannons laid the bodies of the Anunnaki priests. Nergal walked back to his camp after.

The priests were humiliated, they believed they were deceived. More furious now than ever before, they went back to their people and decided to continue in their attack.

Once the reptilians had laid down to rest for the day, the Anunnaki sneaked into their camps. They shot poison arrows and quietly killed the lizards who guarded the camp. They took up the dead guards' weapons, they quietly snuck into the tented camps and slit the throats of the reptiles in their sleep. Eventually, the lizards woke up and all hell broke loose. The Anunnaki struggled to use the lizard's strange weapons at first but figured them out quickly after a few tries. The lizards were great warriors and so many of the ancient ones died trying to kill just one. It quickly turned into mass bloodshed. The reptilians tried to fight back as many of them continued to wake up to the carnage around them.

Still, the Anunnaki outnumbered the lizards by the thousands. In the end, the Anunnaki had slain almost all of the invaders. Nergal and a few other reptilians had managed to survive, they had no choice but to surrender to the Anunnaki. The Anunnaki tied them up with strong rope, locked them in cages, and transported them back to their temples to await judgment from the priests of Nibiru.

The reptilians were all sentenced to be hung till death by the temple priests in the name of Anu, for the crimes of destroying their world and killing the children of Ki. They believed, in their deaths, Anu would cleanse the evil within them.

One by one, they were executed. The Anunnaki first shoved their spears into the cages, slicing the tendons of their prisoner's feet so they could not flee before being hung, they then drug them from their caged imprisonment, tied a rope around their neck, and hung them. The lizards did not even know what they were all sentenced for. They watched from their cages as each of their comrades was put to death. They screeched and cried. Many of the Anunnaki demanded their priests to stop. Consumed in their hurt pride, the priests refused and deemed it essential to their gods. Nergal became enraged as he watched them all die, one by one. The priests thought of the reptilians as only beasts and not true anointed living beings like them. Nergal shouted and roared as each one of his loved ones was executed. Many of the lizards tried to fight them off but the Anunnaki stabbed them over and over until they couldn't move, and then hung them still. Giving them a slow agonizing death. Nergal shook his cage over and over, finally, almost all had been put to death. Nergal sat on his knees within his cage, he was devastated. He would be the last to die.

Two small lizards were the next to die before Nergal would meet his end. The lizard's feet were cut within their cage as they squealed in pain. Nergal started to go crazy, roaring, and shaking his cage violently, the Anunnaki priests ordered the two little lizards hung together to speed up the process. They were too small to resist the enormous size of the Anunnaki, they tied the ropes around the little lizards' necks.

Suddenly, Nergal broke the door of his cage after fighting and beating it for so long, he was free. Nergal charged to the little lizards. Every Anunnaki near him was smacked and pushed from his way as he ran to the two little lizards. Right before Nergal could make it; the little lizard's platform released from beneath them, their necks both broken instantly before they could even suffer the death of suffocation. Nergal fell to his knees before them and roared so loudly the Anunnaki felt his pain. The little lizards dangled there, lifeless before his very eyes. Tears poured from him, as he held the little lizard's bloody feet with his claws, placing them to his head. He began mumbling in grief, in his foreign language. He quickly rose from his despair in a blind rage. He began to kill all that was near him. He ripped apart the Anunnaki limb from limp, by the dozens. Nergal seemed unstoppable. Many Anunnaki were at the top of walls that surrounded the large execution grounds. They shot arrows and threw their spears at him, puncturing him many times. He refused to die and continued to fight. They managed to finally lasso a rope around Nergal's neck and pulled him up the wall. It took many ancient ones to pull him straight up the wall.  They held him up to the edge, Nergal dangled there suffocating to death. The ancient ones who still lived on the ground stabbed him over and over. They mauled his body until they were sure he was dead. They burned the bodies of the dead reptilians and never spoke of what happened again.

The Anunnaki studied the technology left behind by the lizards. As the ancient ones began to progress through the generations to come, they became more intelligent, effectively learning how to use the reptilian equipment. They unlocked the secrets to their language and evolved quickly much after that. They studied the reptilian's knowledge of the universe and quickly realized the atrocities they had committed against the reptilians. They learned of the culture of the lizards and how they had been to Nibiru many times before, the reptiles had the planet listed as uninhabited. They had come to the planet long before life evolved on Nibiru. They also learned of the cannons and the explosions in the sky. Nergal, only did it to get their attention so that they may claim their dead and hopefully try and find peace with them again.

The priests of Nibiru were stripped of their titles and the practice of the old teachings was cast out. The Anunnaki now realized their mistake. They butchered a species only trying to colonize, who mistakenly thought Nibiru to be without lifeforms still. The reptilians were not accustomed to the ways of the Anunnaki. The reptilians worshiped different deities and had their own stories of creation. They did not deserve the fate they met.

Nergal was a great leader, most of the reptilians with him were not even warriors. They were only trying to further the advancement of their race. We had slaughtered a species entire family in front of him. The people of Nibiru buried their horrible atrocity and vowed never to speak of it again. They abandoned the old ways and many cast out the practice of the old gods.

Grandma would always end the story telling us:

"This story needs to live on, throughout generations to come, always to be told to the young. If we stop telling ourselves what we did wrong, then we won't remember how to never do it again. The moral of the story little ones is to always be kind, always love one another no matter how different you are. Make your own decisions and not that of any gods. For they all gave us free will, the gods are not a physical entity. The gods are in us, and all around us. They are in the air we breathe, the things we see, the thoughts that live inside our minds, and most of all, they are in all of that we love the most."

Grandma's philosophy in life was love all unconditionally, Love everything, without it, everyone would be lost. Without love, there could never be any life. Love brought warmth to the soul and filled it with light. If we just loved everyone, no one would ever have to hurt again.

I miss my grandmother.

When I was a young adult, she passed away peacefully in her bed to a world of peace, shared between two great planets. She found so much joy in this. She was obsessed with the planet's plans to travel to Venus together. She was so excited the day the ships took off on their journey into space.

Grandma lived through much of the short war between the two planets; Osiris and Nibiru. It was a traumatic experience for her; she rarely spoke about it.

Our family was devastated by her loss. She was the glue that held us all together. Her teachings would live on within me for the rest of my life, and thereafter.

A year after grandma passed, the world fell into turmoil. I was thankful she wasn't alive to see it. This alone would have been enough to kill her. My father and I were both drafted into the Anunnaki space command, many of us were forced to fight. We were told the Gians of Osiris had betrayed us. Killed an entire ship of Anunnaki; that they had taken the knowledge of Venus for themselves. We were stationed on a warship in charge of planetary defense. Our planet's shield systems had been taking havoc for so long. We were forced to fight the Gians in orbit or risk the shields protecting our planet to fail.

Our warships were much larger and more heavily equipped than theirs, we blasted the Gians away so many times. Still, they never gave up. Both sides suffered so many casualties. My father and I fought many battles, luck had managed to save us so many times. War in space is the most horrific thing you could imagine. The debris from the battle could never be cleaned up immediately. The Gians destroyed any vessel we sent for our dead; only creating more debris. We had to fight our way continuously back up to orbit to defeat them before we could clean it up. This often took many attempts and different strategies.

My father and I were sent out for one such cleanup battle. We had launched three other fleets prior and all had been unsuccessful. My father had the idea to strap ultra-sensitive high-powered lights. They had a one-time use, they shot enormous amounts of light that even lit through the void of space. We put them on every warship. The massive amounts of light shot at the enemy blinded them and interfered with their radar systems. Once our ships exited our shield protecting the planet, we turned the lights up as bright as we could before they blew. The light interfered with their radars as planned and for a moment, they could not target us. The Gians quickly regained control over their radars and fired upon us. My father had the fleet alter course slightly with the time his idea had bought us. It gave us plenty of time to release smaller starships mid orbit, it was successful and the war raged. Starships soared all around us as they fought off the small Gian gunships in between us.

Our warship finally approached the enemy command battle craft. We blasted off to each other at lightning speeds, firing upon each other like a medieval game of joust. Right before impact, each dived off into separate directions just missing each other by the smallest margin. We did it repeatedly, desperately trying to lock on our target before we crashed; to critically wound their enemy's fleet. Every second counted, you had to be ready to make any decision in a split moment.

Our warships gun crew was the best in all of Nibiru. We locked onto the Gian's craft finally, after a few failed attempts; we crippled their ship. The small starships swarmed the crippled ship as its shields fell, our entire fleet pulverized them to bits. Their ship exploded as we steered away to avoid the blast. The remaining small ships were finished off and we had won. Their ships were no longer a threat. Our crews began to clean up the debris and bring it home. Our ships were serviced as stations were launched into orbit from home.

More ships were launched into orbit to protect the planet, Nibiru was secure once again. We were then given orders to take off to Osiris and strike them while we had the advantage. Their planets warships met us head-on as we approached Osiris, it was a quick battle as we outnumbered them greatly. We charged our beam cannons and rained hellfire upon their planet. Osiris was at its breaking point. The planet was too weak to continue. To our surprise, their shields finally fell apart and the planet was doomed. Gian warships had started coming at us as our fleets continuously blasted the planet itself, hundreds of our ships fired everything they had on their planet. Our starships fought off many of the Gian reinforcements as long as they could.

Our command issued us to retreat. They detected signals from Osiris declaring it was becoming unstable. It had taken so much damage from this war, it had nothing left to give. My grandmother's teachings filled my mind, it hurt me inside to think, Osiris gave its life to defend its people as long as it could, it had no more life to give its people. Once again, my race had slaughtered another species. This time in a mass genocide. Their planet would now begin to break apart.

My father and I would not make it.

Before we could retreat, several Gian warships fired at us, we lost this battle and our ship was destroyed. Our ship was torn to shreds in its destruction as the force of space tore the damaged pieces of the ship apart.

I remember dying in this life.

I was sucked out into space after the deck of the ship was hit. We were all sucked out through the holes; made by the enemy gunfire. Before I froze over and suffocated as I drifted off in space, I watched, as my ship blew into pieces, the bodies of my crewmates and even the face of my father floated around me, their faces frozen with fear in their deaths.

This was my first life and my first death.

I have no excuse for the ways of my people. Or the destruction they would cause throughout time. They are people full of mistakes, ones which they would regret all their existence.

In death my spirit lingered for a while as I watched Osiris explode, its blast setting off thousands of ships fleeing from Osiris in its wake, blowing up one after another. Forever rearranging the formation of it's solar system.

My grandma's stories poured into me once again, this time as memories. Then I heard her voice, calling to me in death. I followed it deep into the dark void. A light began to shine, it captured me and pulled me in.

Suddenly, I was surrounded by stone monoliths creating a complete circle. Birds chirped and flew, the skies were littered with many vibrant colorful planets as far as the eye could see, the air smelled fresh and pure, you could feel the tranquility of the place with every breath you took. The sounds of a waterfall faintly could be heard over a cliff where a stream atop a mountain poured down. Beautiful flowers unlike any I had ever seen; scattered the grass beneath me, like a rainbow. The stones began to glow, and from them, incredible beings of light emerged.

I was blinded at first by their presence, when I was able to see them clearly, I was mesmerized. They all stood tall over me, they had arms and legs that were in the form of pure light, a blank face stared down on me, but upon further gaze; I could see them. Within their blank faces of light, a strong emotion could be felt as I looked deeper into them, one that created the sensation of utter love through me, it consumed me. It took all my pain away and I was at peace.

Their words softly echoed around me as they talked in unison.

"Welcome to this place, young soul"

They said

"Where am I?" I asked them.

"You are in a place that is neither here, nor there, but somewhere in between. This dimension is one of our own creation. Incredibly old souls who have transcended from the beginning of time rest here. They are great lifeforms from all over the universe, that once existed in life. In their lifetimes, they performed countless great wondrous deeds. The souls that reside in this dimension have rightfully earned their place here. Within an everlasting slumber, at peace, within their dreams for all of eternity. Forever existing in their happiness, separate from all of reality."

I was shocked to learn of this, I immediately asked.

"Am I to be given a place in one of these worlds? What if I chose to return to my life? My people need me."

"Perhaps one day you might, you are still so young and there is still so much left for you to do. We're sorry little soul, you can never go back to who you once were, that life has ended and there is nothing to go back to." They answered.

"Are you the gods of the ancient ones? Anu, Ki, Tiamat, Who are you all?

I asked nervously.

"We are known as many things, life all around the universe calls us many names. Those are our names in the stories told in your world. We are the collective consciousness of all of existence. We are you, we are them, we are all that exists. We are the light of life, the good in all people." They responded

"If you are me and I am you, then how do I not you? What you say makes the slightest of sense!" I sternly replied.

"Within you child, lies the answers you seek, every conscious being is its own personality. It thinks and chooses for itself, all we provide is life, the pure ability for you to exist. We guide you as much as we can along the way. Every choice you make is always your own. For a better understanding, think of us  simply as companions who reside within you."

I was stunned by their answers. I became angry and shouted:

"If you can do all that, then why is their war, why do you allow us to fight amongst ourselves. Why do you allow us to slaughter each other for pointless things?"

...

The beings paused a moment before answering,

"We have no control over these things. Death is an entirely different entity. Before the light was created, death was all there was. Forever alone trapped in the darkness of nothing. Eons of loneliness caused death to become something sinister and evil. A great spark exploded in the emptiness of space and created the light and within that light, we were formed. We battled death in our birth for eons as it tried to send us back into nothing and drown out the light with its darkness. Our battle was brutal and within our chaos, we were slowly destroying ourselves. We could not kill death and it could not kill us. Finally, after battling for so long we lost control and our battle raged, within our hate for one another we merged together accidentally. Life and Death, Light and Darkness, became one, a perfect balance within the universe. We spread our light finally without resistance throughout all of the universes, giving life to many things. After the light had lived a long meaningful life in whatever form it possessed, Death would remove it; sending it off into the cosmos, returning it to us to be reborn once more. Together death and life worked as one, inside the minds of all that lived. Unfortunately and unintentionally death also brought with it the wickedness and hate it acquired after being alone for so long. Life was torn between good and evil. One could not exist without the other. Long ago death had encountered a soul, so consumed in darkness. The soul was filled with more hatred than even death itself, death became corrupted once more. The soul's name was, Nergal. He fought so hard to return to his previous life, to revenge the ones he loved, death struggled to send him off, as Nergal fiercely overpowered it, drunken with vengeance. Everything Nergal had loved had been taken right before his eyes. Death had enough and used all its power to pull the soul into its realm. Nergal's consciousness was split in two. Nergal cast death away with the light of his consciousness, forever locking them away within itself, in its own manifested prison. The dark side of Nergal's consciousness took over death completely. Nergal had managed to consume death with his hatred and lust for vengeance, we struggled to remove the control Nergal had over death, we cast Nergal back out and allowed him to be reborn hoping this would stop him. Unbeknownst to us Nergal had already manifested itself to us and controlled death. Year's went by as we battled him for control, we tried desperately to save Nergal from himself. After so many years he finally cast us out of his new form, his mind was so dark we could not keep hold. Nergal immortalized himself forever in his new demonic reptilian form. A new war between life and death had begun. Nergal had taken the power of death and vowed to spend all eternity destroying all that lived throughout the universe.

Nergal became a god to the reptilians and wreaked havoc and destruction upon all who would not follow him. He waged war on his own kind, they were no match for his god-like power and strength. Eventually, most of the reptilian race were all captured and forced into a life of servant-hood to the god of death, Nergal. The draconian's were forced to build hundreds of fleets of ships for Nergal's conquest. Once his fleet was constructed, Nergal began his conquest to return the universe to what it once was; the void of nothing, just a dark eternal lonely silence once again. The draconian war-torn-plundered planet became a barren wasteland full of radiation. The few that escaped took refuge in other worlds. Many times the reptilians were driven away or killed by the existing lifeforms of those worlds they tried to settle in, because of their frightening appearance. We tried to stop them but the darkness of their consciousness riddled them with fear and they acted in violence to the reptiles. Nergal's greatest weapon was fear. Pieces of him still resided in the minds of all life. We are constantly at war with it, Nergal was an infection of evil within all that lived now, we lost an entire race in his destruction of their minds. Nergal falsely promised eternal life to all those that followed him. He tormented them till fear controlled them, we were forced out of their minds as Nergal imprisoned their souls. He split their consciousness in two and locked the good of them away forever into a dimension far from our reach. The wicked parts of them had total control of the vessels and were immortalized. We were driven out of all of those Nergal captured. The darkness of death consumed their minds. Nergal then traveled the stars and pillaged other worlds. Growing his army larger and larger. Souls are now disappearing from us rapidly in Nergal's conquest for total true death. We cannot allow the mass extinction of life to happen. Our only hope lies within a group of souls who choose to live eternally, through many lives and many worlds. To allow us to reside strongly within them, as Nergal does to those he captures. We will not force this choice upon any soul, and we will merely reside deep within their mind. Together like seeds from the stars, we will defeat Nergal and free death and all those Nergal has enslaved. "

I was speechless as the mysteries of life and death were revealed to me. Conscious eminent forces beyond anything I could comprehend had just explained to me the greatest question all living things ponder.

"Tell us, young soul, we feel greatness within you. In your creation, you were destined to change the universe. Would you like to be a starseed? You would remember every life you have ever lived. We warn you, this way of existence will not come easy. The memories of every life you live will remind you every day of all those you loved and lost. This life will be full of pain and war, but the reward will be worth it. The universe needs to be balanced again. We need you, young soul. So tell us, what is your decision?"

I didn't even want to know what the alternative was. My mind was made-up.

"I'll do it!"

I said without regret

Everything began to fade and my spirit was being pulled, the beings shouted as I drifted off into the unknown,

"Now go, live through the light and fear not of death, for we will be with you now and forevermore."

I felt like I was soaring through an empty dark tube, lights whizzed past me, each with an echo of a voice whispering to me. Until one pulled me from the distance, it resonated within me.

I was immediately horrified when I approached it, I could see the terror this life would bring. Female Gians were all strapped to operating tables, many of them about to give birth.

It was a reptilian birthing farm, these Gians were the spoils of our war, the survivors of a planet I had helped destroy. Reptilians swarmed around them, the reptilians synthetically impregnated them. Now in the final stages of their pregnancy, they were all gathered to give birth. I was immediately reborn, as soon as I synchronized with my shell I cried out in pain. Fright was more the cause of my cries. I was instantly taken away as the reptilians sedated my surrogate mother and patched her up. She was sent off to heal and start the process all over again. The fate that awaited these lives was far worse than death.

They brought us back into a nursery where reptilians placed us, we cried for hours on end, our cries sounded more like squeals. Our mothers came in for the first year of our lives, some even a little longer. Always, they eventually stopped coming. They were sent away to give birth to their next reptilian offspring. Afterward, every so often a reptilian came in and injected us with unknown fluids, fed us, cleaned us, and left us alone again. No affection was shown to us. We were placed on strict feeding and eating schedules; that never changed. Many of the newborn lizards were immediately taken over by death early on. The young's consciousness gave in to the lure of death easily, the light struggled to gain the newborn's attention as the grief of this life drowned out the light from within them.

I could feel death seducing me with whispers in my mind. They produced emotions that felt safe, it almost made you happy just to think about it. Almost all of them gave in to it, once they did, they became emotionless. The reptilians then removed them from the rooms. Forever trapped in death's clutches, as the darkness of all that you are, controls your body, forever trapping the good in you in an eternal prison. Death promised all that gave into him exceedingly long lives, all in servanthood to Nergal. They would never age, but could still be killed.

I struggled so hard with this rebirth. I was beginning to fear life a bit, as I struggled to fully synchronize my consciousness with it as a child. Death was trying to push me out and enslave me. Even knowing this, I fought it hard, that's when I heard them, the beings of light and even the voice of my grandmother, the voice echoed in my head, stay strong little one. I took the strength they gave me and overcame my fear. I deceived the reptilians, I let go and allowed death in.

For a while death thought it had a hold of me, as I buried myself within my subconsciousness. I could always hear the prison world Nergal had imagined for me, calling me in, tempting me. I never gave in, and death never knew. I was forced to undergo many experiments and was given many injections. The reptilians DNA was strong, I had no resemblance to the Gian woman that gave me birth, I grew to be a tall scaly lizard, like all the rest. Life was hard through all this and I had no control over what I did. As children, we were forced to constantly battle each other to the point of death. The battles were brutal. The reptilians only took the best of the best. Our entire childhood was like living as a gladiator in a colosseum, trained for war. Every day we trained to kill, when we were needed we were given jobs, far out in the universe, picking up more species left behind from Nergal's spoils of war. We brought them back to our farms and locked the females away. The weakest of us were given the engineering jobs to construct fleets of ships. We resided on one of the smallest farms Nergal controlled. A planet uninhabited. Nergal left it long ago to conquer more worlds and further his army.

I trained for many years fighting for my life. Death continued to think it was in control. I had fooled it. Until one day I didn't anymore. Death had finally realized I was not in its dream prison. I was a fully grown lizard by then and this is when death fully enters you.

They brought us altogether who had become of age to perform a dark ritual. A black liquid was poured into a chalice, I was brought forth from my group. The oracle removed my hood and raised my head, it poured the liquid down my throat. I was walked back to my group afterwards, my mind became clouded, I couldn't think clearly anymore. The room around me seemed to melt in shades of vibrant colors. Sounds became slow and deep, that's when I heard him.

A dark deep voice shouted

"You do not belong here! Get out!"

We struggled for control of my mind, locked in agonizing mental warfare. I felt the beings of light with me, their strength surged through me as we cast Nergal out. Every reptilian came after me, I had to fight two off instantly. I grabbed the first reptilian's arm and dug my talons into the back of its skull.  I smashed its face into the ground until it was dead. The second one went to kick me as I just finished with the first. I stopped its kick; catching it mid-air. I pulled it down on the ground and twisted its I still held in the opposite direction, I felt the cracks of its legs insides tearing apart. I had completely broken its knee, I stomped its head, effectively killing it completely now. More reptilians came after me, I clawed my way up the pillars in the room to the glass ceiling. I smashed the glass and escaped onto the roof, many reptilians followed behind me. I slid down the roof unto the lower portions, until I made it to the ground. Several reptilians jumping down now from the rooftops after me. I ran into the first doorway of a building. I broke the panel and disabled the opening mechanism. Now I had more time. I was in a pod full of pregnant Gians.

One reptilian guard stood in the middle of the room. It began firing at me, I ran across the room, dodging its shots as I leaped side to side, closer and closer to him. I got close enough to leap into the air, I got right over him, I wrapped both my claws around its neck pulling him into the air as I landed. I threw him whirling across the room. I broke its neck before he left my claw and splattered against the wall. I picked up the guard's weapon and hit the button to open all the cells. I was getting them out of here somehow. I knew there was a hangar nearby this cell, it was bound to have a ship we could escape on. The females were all terrified of me, we had no time for this I thought. Suddenly, I shapeshifted into one of them and could speak their language. A reptilian ability acquired from Nergal's injections as a child, this last ritual must have triggered the ability, it was new to me. Only the strongest of the reptilians could survive this transformation.

I told the Gians I wanted to save them; that if they just trusted me I would get them out of here. They all quickly ran to me, I formed back into my original reptilian form. We ran to the doors on the opposite end of the room, that led into the hallways of the building. Several reptilian guards were running down the halls; I blasted them all with my gun and took the Gian females to the hangar. I had to fight off several reptilians along the way. We made it to the hanger and spotted a Gian warship docked there. I knew instantly how they acquired it. They had been the cause of the war between Osiris and Nibiru all along. I was infuriated. Still, it was convenient, it was the only ship open already and large enough for all of us to board. We almost didn't make it.

Two reptilians appeared, one wearing a blue-lined armor; the other a red, they met us at the drop door of the ship.  Both lizards had energy staffs that glowed the color they wore. I shot at them and they deflected every shot I produced. It was no use, more reptiles would pour in soon. I gave the females my gun and told them to hide. The assassins charged me, attacking together, at once,  I leaped away to dodge, I ran, slid, and ducked, avoiding every attack waiting for a chance to strike back. They were relentless, I had brought them away from the ship. I yelled to the girls, "board it and leave, save yourselves." The two reptiles immediately made their way back to the ship as the females boarded it.

Quickly, I dashed ahead of them to grab their attention again. I began fighting them once more as they pushed me to the ship, we had made it to the cargo doors inches within the ship. I fought them with my bare hands as they struggled to strike me. Finally, they made a mistake, they struck at me at the same time, targeting the same spot. I dodged and their spears connected and jolted them back. I quickly punched the blue one through the gut and rendered it of its weapon as it fell to its knees, I pulled my hand from its gut ripping its organs out from within it. I spun around towards the red one swiftly, effectively beheading assassin blue in my spin. I slowly walked to assassin red as it just finally came to from the jolt. Red charged at me and I charged back, we raised our spears in a desperate game of chicken; its head exploded in front of me. The Gian woman who had just killed it yelled for me to close the cargo hold. The reinforcement reptilians began shooting me, as they flooded the hangar from every direction, many of the shots pierced through me. I ran to the switch and closed the cargo door. The dead reptilians' bodies still covered the floor of the ship's cargo bay. The ship started up. Some of the females were soldiers in the war and knew exactly how to operate the ship. The ship rose several inches off the ground, then took off deep into space.

The Gians surrounded me, they all ran to my rescue and patched me up the best they could. I was mortally wounded, I would not live very much longer. We charted a course in the direction of Nibiru, it was our only chance for survival. We traveled for hours until we finally found it, way off course. It was in a new orbit within its solar system. Construction was being done all around the planet. Radio signals came in as the Anunnaki contacted our ship. I told them we came in peace, we were not looking for war. I let them know we had pregnant Gian females on board and only wanted refuge.

Silence.

The signal went dead for some time. As I slowly drifted closer and closer to death. I barely hung on, I had two horns that grew from the front sides of my head stretching to the back. One was blown clean off, the females desperately tried everything to stop my bleeding; my wounds were too great.

We awaited the decision from the Anunnaki. I could feel it calling me, the light tugged on my soul, letting me know it was time to go. I transformed into one of them one last time. I told them all my last wishes before I die.

Many of them cried as I asked them.

"All of you have those children still inside you, please, I know it is a lot to ask. Please give them life and love them, raise the children to be great warriors and good-hearted species, please show them the way to save their kind from this life of horror they are trapped in. I have given this life away so that you and them could live. Please, I beg you, do not abandon the children. They are not what you think."

I told them everything they needed to tell the Anunnaki on Nibiru, I told them the secret to the true cause of the war between Osiris and Nibiru. They were mortified to learn the reptilians had deceived them all. The ship we were on was all the proof they needed.

As I drifted closer to the afterlife, all the females agreed to my request. I fell to the ground in exhaustion. A female Gian came to me and held my hand.

She made a request. She asked me to find her mother and father in the afterlife, their names were, Nevaeh and Aldrin. She asked me to also find her younger brothers, Musarra and Amah, and tell them she loved them, tell them she was okay and that they could rest in peace now. I agreed knowing I may never be able to do this, as tears poured from her. I couldn't imagine the terrifying hell this poor girl had lived in. Gians were truly a strong species. I knew they would overcome this nightmare and prevail.

The radio signal came in once again. They would allow us to enter their planet, starships were sent to escort our ship back to Nibiru. The Gians smiled with glee and rejoiced. It was a strange thing, to be happy they were being given to those that destroyed their home. I split off into death more as some of the Gians pleaded with me to hang on a little longer.

I died happily for them. Nibiru would learn of the cause of this war and stop Nergal, I thought. My mission was complete, I mistakenly told myself.

I died once again and soared within the cosmos, Nergal never followed the ship we escaped on. He didn't need them. He had hundreds of farms just like it everywhere across the galaxy.

I had stopped nothing.

I was reborn into countless lives, into all kinds of species, each struggling in life with their own unique set of problems. I looked for the Gians siblings but was never successful. I knew all males were enslaved in the mines or killed by the reptilians. I began to lose count of my many lifetimes of reincarnations. With every life, ending the same way. Fleeing the reptilians or some power-hungry species who sold their souls to them. These lives became dull and the pain from them tore me apart. Eventually, I stopped being reborn and ignored the calls of light. I wanted happiness for myself, to once just live life completely ignorant again, eons had gone by as I was lost and drifted through the cosmos, within the afterlife, a blue light caught my eye. It filled me with desire I hadn't felt in so long, a feeling that matched looking into the blank faces of the divine light beings. I got closer as the planet before me grew bigger and brighter, a great big shade of grey pulled itself from around the planet, it majestically traveled around this beautiful blue planet. The new world I had found was pure peaceful tranquility. It was beautiful. I knew what this was, a world born from the ashes of war. An Anunnaki mothership hovered above the planet. I became extremely curious as a light called out to me in the distance. I went to it this time.

The warmth entrapped me in seconds. The feeling of relief sent chills through my spirit. I was reborn into one of the most exhilarating lives I had ever lived.

"Welcome to the world, Lugalbanda. You are the firstborn of our children, you are destined to become king one day. Greatness awaits you little one."

A large Anunnaki I did not recognize said to me. I would eventually call him Enki, my mentor.

My next life was to be on Gia, the world formed from the ash and dust of Osiris. A world that would later be called, Earth.

I forgot everything in this life. It was what I wished for in the darkness of my grief. I would be allowed to just live life again. I joyously embraced it.
