One of the mutts have cut round and appeared in front of me, his sharp teeth digging into me before I even realized what was happening, I wince in pain and tumble on the ground letting go of the blood soaked shirt I was holding. One of the mutts move forward and sniffs the shirt then growls angrily, jumping on top of me, I roll off in time but his claws still find my legs, clawing deeply.
I stand up swiftly and try to run forward but find out that the mutts have me surrounded, they look really pissed off.
Then they all charge at me, clawing biting and tearing, and for all my fighting, I made sure another wolf teeth didn't find my skin.
I finally pushed my way through, tired and torn and begin to run. I soon realize that I am missing my objet sacré, my ring, the only protection I have from the sunlight.
I run through the fields with the last energy I can muster. The sun will soon rise, and once it does I'm screwed.
