Gu junjie lips curved upwards, "You are sulking?"
Hearing that deep, husky and seductive voice, Huang zhilan felt she was drifted away. She quickly look at the caller ID and saw that its gu junjie. She blushed and cried inwardly inside just by thinking how impolite she is earlier. There's no signs of an heiress.
"Ahhh.....its you...." however since she was sulking, huang zhilan paid him no mind and just laid down on her bed. She looked at the ceilings and felt her ears were blessed hearing his chuckles.
Gu junjie smile widened. "I was showering when you texted me. I just read it just now"..
"That's it? I'm sulking now. Can't you coax me? Aren't we a couple?" Huang zhilan frowned hearing his plain and boring explanation.
Gu junjie felt like he gained a daughter than a girlfriend. He helplessly rubbed the space between his brows and smiled. "Don't sulk okay? I promise that I will respond to your calls or messages right away even if I'm in the middle of a meeting or sleeping".
Huang zhilan bit her lower lip and her sulk have faded. "Not to that extent. I will be bothering you working and sleep time. I'm sorry for being so childish," maybe because she have never been loved and love someone, she suddenly become childish. Maybe because she longed to a more secure place and find out that its gu junjie, she want to cling with him forever.
Hearing her suddenly turned to a robot, his heart ached. Gu junjie know that although she had never loved sheng li, she still wanted to be appreciated but that man never does that. Because of that, she always controlled her manners and even just by sulking she apologized deeply. Its clear how much she didn't want him to misunderstood her to be clingy and left her.
"Why are you apologizing? Its alright to be yourself. Zhi, you didn't need to put on a mask infront of me like what you did to sheng li," Gu junjie leaned on the headboard and reallynwished to be by her side now.
Huang zhilan eyes reddened. She covered her mouth to prevent from letting the man know that she's in the verge of crying but the sobs and her choked voice ruined everything. "H-how can you be so good? B-brother Gu....what should I do? I really didn't want to leave you....."
Gu junjie felt like his heart stopped beating hearing her confession. His handsome face turned so gentle that it can melt everyone who sees it. "I will never leave you. But I must warn you, if you ever one day want to run away from me, I will tie you by my side and even trap you if I should to".
Huang zhilan laughed and her tears flow out faster. She can't believe that she finally found her prince. She can't believe that a man that only existed in novels actually existed in this world. The man that she dreamt of actually appeared infront of her. How can she be so foolish to leave him? Even if she should to threaten him to make him stay with her, she would do so. Because she was so in love with him.
"Jie...please don't give me false promises," unknowingly that intimate name stumbled out from her mouth smoothly and its making gu junjie even more wished to grow wings to fly to her side.
"Mmm. I won't. You should call me like that in the future. You said my name so beautiful," gu junjie laid down on the bed.
The sound of tussles from the other side of the line have quietly told Huang zhilan that the man have laid down on the bed.
"Are you going to sleep?"
Although she was saying as if she was
about to hung up, the man still can detected her reluctance.
"Lets keep like this. You should take a rest. Many things happened today so you must be tired," Gu junjie smiled. He turned off the lamp and let the call stay connected.
Huang zhilan hummed and also turned off her lamp. She put on the call on a speaker mode so that she didn't need to hold it beaide her ear. She hold her duve and said shyly, "Good night. Sweet dreams, jie".
Gu junjie said the same and the two of them then fall asleep with wide smiles on their faces
Yes, that night....they indeed have a sweet dream.

Morning came and huang zhilan wake up early to bake the cake.
However when she just showered and was dressed to a new set of clothes, she heard someone talking from the phone. She take the phone and listened to it as she walked down the stairs.
"Stop being so persistent. I will tell her name soon in the future. Its not convenient now as so many things happened. Just do what I told you to do, " Gu junjie voice talking to his parents and then what came after were Gu jinhai scowl.
Huang zhilan smiled and take the phone. She asked, "whose name?"
