[Elementalist]
[As an Elementalist, you are more in tune with nature and have a feel for the different waves of energy in the atmosphere. You will find it much easier to call upon the elements of nature to aid you than other mages.]
Kai stared at the semi-transparent screen in front of him. His jet black hair swayed with the wind, the warm ray of the sun gleaming across his dark skin.

Kai gazed upon these new changes. He would have to find time to test them out. Firstly, he had to go through his newly acquired skillset.

While he was absorbed in his thoughts, he walked along the dirt path that veered off the main cobblestone path which led to his home. He was going to let his parents know the news and then pack his belongings that he would take with him to the Imperial Army's camp.
Up ahead, he could see the outline of their house against the setting sun. He couldn't help but smile when he thought of how much time flew between his practice sessions with his mom and how proud she and his dad had been when he broke into the Earth class. They had put in their all to teach him what little they knew about magic. Although, with the direction of his mom's Magic Affinity being healing and his dad being a simple Earth class hunter, there was very little he could learn from them.'
Kai walked up to the door, pushing aside a hollow stone that was kept beside the door. Inside that stone was a spare key to the house. From how quiet the place was, it wasn't hard to understand that no one was home. He slotted in the key and pushed open the door. After stepping in, he turned to close the door, only to be met with a dark sack being tossed over his head.
------------
On the way back to his home, Reinhard recalled a matter he wanted to discuss with Kai. After some deliberation, he turned around to rush over to Kai's place. Taking several shortcuts, he was confident at beating Kai to get there.
Several minutes, narrow dodges, and yelled apologies later, Reinhard finally stopped in front of Kai's home. He bent over with his hands on his knees, wheezing slightly from overexerting himself. After regaining his composure, he walked up the front porch and gave three firm knocks on the door. Footsteps gave out the presence of another person in the house. A few moments later, the door was opened and Reinhard was greeted by the face of Kai's mother, Theresa.
"Oh, Reinhard! She sounded surprised. The corners of her lips lifted up in a bright smile, "I was just making lunch to surprise Kai when he gets back from the Selection. Speaking of which, how was it?" She stepped aside and opened the door a bit wider as a welcoming gesture.
Reinhard walked in and pulled off his shoes before stepping onto the rug that ran through the house. He rubbed the back of his head while replying, "Haha, it was okay. Kai and I managed to pass. I actually came here to talk to Kai but I guess I was in a bit of a hurry and got here before the kid!" He grinned as he followed Theresa into the kitchen.
Kai's mom smiled back warmly before directing her attention back to what she was cooking. Reinhard opened the drawers and cabinets holding cutleries and the like, wanting to help set up the table. Just as he placed the first plate down, he felt a slight shiver run down his neck. Reinhard looked up and stared out the window. He could see Kai running toward the house through the window. An ominous smile crept up his face as he thought up a devious plan to give Kai a scare.
He rushed to the door, locking it and stepping to the side where he wouldn't be seen easily. Not long after, he heard the sound of a key slotting into the lock and twisting it open.
Without wasting time, he drew a dark sack from the satchel he had around his chest, and as soon as the door swung open, he threw it over Kai's head.

Kai's reactions were lightning fast. He slipped down, sweeping his leg down low to swipe out his attacker's feet. His higher senses could let him faintly feel someone else's presence beside him when he concentrated. A thud accompanied the attacker's fall. A groan slipped out of the person's lips as Kai pulled the sack back over his head. The sight that greeted him was what he least expected...
"Oh, Kai... Since when did you learn to do that?" Reinhard held onto his side as he groaned out his displeasure. Footsteps sounded out as Kai's mother walked into the small corridor that connected the kitchen to the rest of the house.
"I'll never get you boys... Food's ready." She shook her head and walked back into the kitchen to dish out the food.
