Michael
I woke up to her figure stood at the floor to ceiling glass window of the penthouse as she watched the sun rays beam into the room.
I stealthily walked up to her till I was pressed up at her back and held her in my arms.
She giggled. "You up early." She stated as I kissed her jawline. She had spent the night over so she was in one of my large white shirts. She did have spare clothes here since she came more often but I loved how well my shirts fit her.
"I'm always up early." I replied, my nose tracing her pulse.
"You need a shave." She said feeling the slight stubble as I kissed her ear lobe.
"I thought you loved it." I whispered.
"Yea a little but it's getting ticklish." She replied.
"Well. Since we're free today..." I said going down to her neck again, my hands sliding down to her wrist. "...maybe we could relax." I said lift up her wrists above her head at either side as I pressed her unto the glass. She released a ragged breathe and the glass got foggy as I littered kisses on her neck and shoulder. I gradually slid off the shirt to expose more of her shoulders continuing further- occasionally nibbling and sucking on her tender flesh. She pressed her butt onto my crotch and it twitched. The sexual tension between us was unlike before and I had to stop before I caved into lust.
"Michael." She whimpered.
He swallowed trying to have some reatraint. "I know. " I smiled as she turned to face me. "I won't go to second base because I know you're not ready."
She smiled lasciviously as her legs wrapped around my waist, "I want you to take me right against this window." She whispered licking my earlobe.
This was definitely a memory but not how I remembered it.
"No. You said..."
"I want you now please carry me to bed."
No she would never ask that, not now.
"What about your fiance? He..."
"Oh he can join in after if he wants." She replied.
"I can't do this." I frowned as I pulled down her legs from my waist. But she pushed on
"C'mon don't you want this?" She purred pulling me closer to the bed till I sat down.
"This is not a great idea." I said as she now straddles me.
"Sure it is." She said as she begun kissing my neck and grinding on me. "Don't you want this?"
"I do but..." I grunted as she ground on me. "... not like this."
"So he likes me now. "
"I've always loved you." I grabbed her hips to slow her movement.
"Do you? Then why are you watching me do this to him instead?"
"What? " I looked into the mirror and my face had turned into his. It felt like I was thrown right into a horror movie. "What's this? "
"Am I not what you desire most?" She asked pulling my attention back to her.
"No you're...."
"You had promised that you had never give up on us no matter what." She said as she started sobbing. Her face morphed into how she looked when we separated. "I begged you listen but you wouldn't. "
"I'm so sorry baby. I never meant to be so inconsiderate." I pleaded, trying to wipe her tears but it only seemed to get worst then a storm breaked out in my room and outside became pitch black.
"You never loved me. You never listened. I hate you." She said as her face turned dark and she tried strangling me.
"Darling please." I struggled as her nails grew sharp and dug into my flesh.
"I hate you. I gave you everything but you rejected me. Now I have to kill you to kill the pain." She spat as her hold grew stronger . I tried getting her hands off but to no avail.
"No."
"MICHAEL!"
"No." ...
"MICHAEL!. "
"No. Please. "
"MICHAEL!"
My eyes shot wide open and I stared at the worried face of Lyra. I was completely soaked in sweat, same as my sheets.
"Christ! You scared me half to death." She said worriedly as I sat up in my bed. " You kept talking in your sleep and it felt so vivid. I was scared you may convulse so I had to wake you up." She said patting my disheveled hair down. "Are you ok?"
"Yea. Just a bad dream."I replied
"It seams your nightmares are back again." She stated. "They seem to have been reoccurring more often now than before."
"I suppose. " I said looking around. It was still dark outside. Probably, 3:00am or so. "Sorry I got you up. I'm sure you have a lot to do tomorrow and I'm depriving you of sleep. You should get back to bed."
"If you have trouble sleeping I would as well and you're my brother. So it doesn't matter if I get few hours less of sleep. As long as you're ok, I'm good." She replied with a smile. "Now go take a shower and change your clothes. You look like you fell right of a swimming pool and directly unto your bed." I chuckled as I pulled the sheets off me and stood up.
"Oh my God!" I heard her exclaim, appalled as she shielded her face looking the other way.
"What?" I asked then she pointed down and I found the pitching tent I was walking with. "Oh no."I said facing heavenwards. As if me having nightmares at my age, and my sister coaching me wasn't enough, now she had to see this.
"Now I'm skeptical about the nature of your dream." She said still looking away. "Know what? Nevermind, I don't need to know. Just go change. I'll change the sheets."
"You can do that? " I mocked.
"Yes I can. I got hands and legs, duh. Now go change you caveman before you give me eye sores with your morning-wood." She said a grimace as she started taking off the sheets and been careful not to look at me again.
I moved into the bathroom, got a quick shower and had a change of clothes. I returned to the room with the bed neatly done and Lyra sat in the sheets while reading a book. I arched a brow at her asking for an explanation as to why she was still here.
"I can sleep alone thank you. I don't need you tucking me into bed." I said.
"Just making sure the boogie man or boogie woman which may be you case doesn't come back." She teased. "Or may be it was indeed the boogie man. I don't know your preferences since Aisha left. " she laughed but I made a flat face. I wasn't going to indulge in her bad jokes today. "Oh I'm so sorry. I called the forbidden name." She said regretfully.
"I'm not of glass ok. You can call her name if you want to. I'm not going to snap or cry." I replied as I got under the covers.
"Well you say so but your stance still stiffens whe they mention her name."
"It doesn't. " I retorted defensively.
"Yes it does. But anyway, I'm not here to querrel with you. So we'll sleep on that. " she replied turning out the lights and leaving the bedside lap on. She moved in closer so we cuddled. "No worries, your little sister Lyra is here to keep the nigthmares at bay." She said in a childlike voice which made me laugh. "Good night. I love you big brother."
I kissed her forehead. "Love you sis." I replied with a smile as I relaxed into the sheets letting sleep consume me. I was worried the dreams may come back again if I closed my eyes but I couldn't let Lyra sacrifice her sleep once again because of me so I abandoned myself to the darkness.
