Give me your hand
Give me a chance
and we'll jump from the clouds like remembering a dizzy dance.
Skylight shining into our little world,
you're in a dashing tux and my hair is curled.
We'll lay in the sky and forget all our scars
and our love will flicker along with the stars.
The moonlight won't catch us for we'll hide in the rain
But our windstorm love will bring us only pain.
For the sun has burned us and the skylight has a crack ,
The sky won't protect us and the clouds are turning black.
Your tux is torn and my curls fell, and the rain is no longer under our spell.
The stars all went out
you gave me a chance,
And as the moonlight fades out,
I can't remember our dance.
