NORA'S P.O.V:
La la la la... hum, hmmm" I vaguely remember happily entering in my house humming and dancing, staggering to my feet, swaying a little from side to side.
"Young, miss! You've arrived! I will go and informed, mistress right away" one of the maids rushed towards me with a looked of relief all over her face.
"Hold On! Who allowed you to go?" I yelled and flopped down the floor drunk. Maybe I had too much than the average in the club that night...
"Miss...Can you walk? Shall we carry you to your room?" asked the maids anxiously as they held me on my shoulder helping me sit up on the floor near the entrance.
"Get your dirty stinky hands off me! How dare you!" I yelled swinging my arms violently; I started kicking my legs like a small kid.
"Get off me, I said!" I continued yelling, trying to fight against the maids like I was in some kind of war.
I drew out my phone from my bag thinking it's a sword and swung it over their faces while they were busy holding me up.
I looked at them with my two blurry eyes like they were my opponents trying to kill me, laughing out loud as they slowly approached me with a sword in their hands in a battlefield.
"I don't spare anyone. You are all going to die ha ha ha" I let out an arrogant laughed while still pointing my sword(phone) toward the maids.
"Why is it so noisy?" I heard my mother drowsy voice from a distance as she came down the stairs drowsily.
"My survivor.." I thought out loud chuckling with my eyes closed as I passed out right there and then...
"Mistress its young miss... she is sleepy" answered one the maids nervously, not daring to say that she, her sweet daughter is drunk.
"Oh... My poor baby, why you guys didn't bring her to her room?" asked, Joy, rushing towards Nora.
She passed glaring eyes at the maids with her fiery red eyes.
"Do you know how cold the floor is...? If my baby gets sick you all will pay with your lives." she continued as she hugged her daughter and wrapped her up with her cashmere shawl gently.
"Ye...yes, mistress" replied the maids with their shaky voices.
"Bryan! Come here and look at our daughter sleeping soundly" yelled, Nora's, mother tittering as she gazed gently at her drunken daughter snoring like a small cute pig.
"Our, Nora, is home?" cried, Nora's, father, Bryan Zhou, with a pair of glittering eyes as he ran down the stairs excitedly.
"Oh... My sweetheart, she is sleeping so soundly, just like you." he whispered as he approached his wife and his sleeping drunk daughter, sitting in the middle of the main hall.
"We are so lucky to have her... her face so red... Is she going to get sick, Bryan!" Joy panicked as she shook, Bryan, vigorously with her other hand.
"Probably... Maybe drunk" mumbled the maids to each other and tittered softly making sure they were not heard.
"Calm down! Dear, let's take her in her room first and let one of the maids wipe her with warm water. She will feel good and sleep better." Bryan assured his wife as he scoops her up and carried his daughter in his arms.
"Be careful, Bryan, walk slowly or you might wake her up." whispered, Joy, signaling to one of maids to follow them.
"Wipe her body very gently with warm water and make sure, she finds whatever she searches for in the morning." ordered, Joy, sternly in a low voice.
"Also, make her some soup, in case she wakes up in the middle of the night hungry." intercepted, Bryan, while gazing at his drunk drooling daughter lovingly.
"She will be fine, now... Let's go." said, Bryan, in a low and soft voice patting his wife's shoulder so as to comfort her.
"Ummm... I hope so." She took his hand from her shoulder, interlocked it with hers and walked towards their room like a loving couple.
"Sigh~ I am really concerned about, young Miss Future." uttered the oldest maid to the other maids who were working on a night shift.
"Why are you so worried, senior maid? She has a wealthy family and even if her parents passed away, she will still be living a rich life... Won't she?" asked one of the maids clueless while the other 2 maids nodded their heads quietly to show their approval with her statement
"You fool! Who will want to marry her? Have you ever thought about that? She will always be lonely with no true friends and no boyfriend... a broken and lonely heart. Since that day, she changed and so her parents. "said the senior maid in a dejected tone.
"But, I heard she is betrothed to the only prince of a very big and prosperous country." the other maid commented thoughtfully wearing the "I am not so sure" expression.
"Shut up! Do you know the consequences of saying things like that, which you are not even sure of especially…If young miss hears you, you would have pack your bags by now; know that, it's only because of her that you got this well paying job as a maid for night shift just to take care of her." The senior maid warned her in a flustered low voice just enough for the maids to hear her.
"I understand, senior maid, thank you for the warning, I will watch my mouth from now." the maid kowtowed in front of her to show her respect and appreciation.
"You don't have to do that...We all need to watch each other back, stand up!" the senior maid walked closer to her and helped her up.
