PRINCE P.O.V:
"Okay... so we will start from etiquette, like how to talk like a lady…" I said as I stood in front of a white board holding a marker.
"Wait... wait, I always talk like a lady and I am a lady!" she argued, beaming with pride.
Awkward silence fell over the room…
"O..kay.. Let me repeat again, we will learn how to talk like a proper lady." I repeated ignoring her silly comment.
"Nora, when you talk to others always tries to speak softly and smile a bit. Like this." I gave her a smile as an example while she looked at me intently trying to learn.
"What if I don't feel like smiling?" She asked fiddling with the pen in her hand.
"Then, you still smile…"
"But…How?" She interjected.
"You still smile no matter what you feel, because that's what a proper lady does." I calmly replied owning myself a fade smile from her.
I taught, Nora, for a few weeks and surprisingly both of us had been doing great together.
We had breakfast, lunch and dinner together every day; we followed each other wherever we go without even realizing it.
Nora spent less and less time outside and more time inside learning etiquette. She became much more well behaved than she was before.
I noticed that she was trying really hard and she made me really happy seeing her try out what she learned with her maids and her parents.
"Nora…" I stared at her while she was busy dozing during the class.
"Hmm..."She responded with her eyes half closed.
"Why?" I asked without taking my eyes off her.
"Why… What?" She looked up at me with her confused now wide awakened eyes.
"Why do you decided to stay here and learn...Why didn't you try to run away or hang out with your friend?" I questioned her; finding myself eager to uncover the girl sitting in front of me.
"That's a funny question…" She chuckled like I was telling her a joke.
"I see..." I muttered taking the hint that she was not comfortable telling me about it.
"Lance, I really want to have sea food in, Dawn Restaurant. They really cooked so delicious over there..."She said drooling wildly as she smacked her lips and imagined the sea food there.
"Wanna go?" I asked leaning over the table
"Really!" Nora, looked up and I suddenly found myself face to face with her; her bluest eyes found mine and connected in a very long gaze for the very first time.
I couldn't take my eyes away from hers then I whispered softly "Yes.. We can take a break."
"Let's go then…" she stood up abruptly and ran towards the door trying to hide her blushing red face.
"Did I say something wrong?" I thought watching her ran, I was totally unaware of what was going on...like always.
"Shall we take a car? Is it far?" I asked after catching up with her in the hall.
"No...It's just nearby... Let's walk; today I am in a good mood." She replied grinning from ear to ear.
"Okay…"I turned towards her baffled thinking why she was so happy all of a sudden.
"Oh... Crap!" Nora's, covered her mouth after she spat those words out of her mouth, she took a quick glance at me with her blue eyes doubled in size hoping that I didn't hear her.
"I heard that... No use of covering your mouth." I commented in an amused tone looking at her over my shoulder.
"It's raining… How could you stay so calm...WE should've brought an umbrella. Shall we go back" She said while using her hand as a shield to cover herself against the rain.
"I love rain…" I breathed out in a soft voice; I looked up and closed my eyes as I let the drizzling rain, poured over my face.
Nora turned towards him slowly and gazed at him intently without blinking, watching the rain drizzled over him as a small smile appeared across his lips. Seeing him smile, she unconsciously tittered softly.
I opened my eyes and turned towards her "Were you watching me this whole time?" I asked as I caught her turning away quickly.
"What do you think? I was just looking at you and you suddenly turned towards me" she replied in a defensive tone as I noticed her face getting redder and redder.
She was acting like I was accusing her for something serious; like committing a crime…
"Oh... look we have arrived!" She cried in relief and strode in the restaurant hurriedly to avoid the awkward situation.
"What is wrong with her today?" I thought feeling more and more clueless I followed her in.
The restaurant was clean but small; it was not huge, not grand. It was not elegant nor was it classy. It was just a small simple local restaurant with lots of people in it. Some were even wearing their pajamas with their slippers on.
I nearly gasped in surprise to think that the wealthy family one and only spoiled daughter liked to eat foods from there.
As I entered the small restaurant I noticed that the people sitting there were staring at, Nora's, especially men with disgusting grinned across their faces.
I looked at her and quickly took off my leather jacket and threw it on her.
"What's wrong? I am not cold..." she uttered almost in a whisper, she peered around as she noticed people eyes on us.
"Ahem...Your-your top" I pointed out while pretending to clear my throat I looked away.
Hearing that, she looked down and saw her white thin fabric top drenched from rain was now transparent showing off her red floral bra.
She worn my jacket and zipped it up quickly.
She looked up and I smiled at her like nothing happened.
"Than...Thank you…" she stammered in a small voice while I pretended not to hear her, so not to embarrassed her even more than she already was.
As we sat down the table, she looked down the floor and giggled softly. I peeked at her and let out a small smile...
