A lot of people had seen a boy who fits closely with the description but no one could tell Edmond where he had disappeared to. Someone had seen how desperately Edmond was looking for 'his friend' and decided to pay for Edmond's dinner. Everyone had thought that they were here for the festival in the oncoming days and had separated due to excitement of exploration. Edmond had gladly accepted someone else paying for his meal because he wasn't sure if their currencies were the same, meaning that if they were he'd be able to use the money he has to pay for a room or food as needed but if not he'd need to get a job to be able to pay for the things he needs.
Charlie and Hanna could not find any evidence or trace of the two boys so they decided to go back to the well first. Once they were there they had noticed James hadn't arrived yet and decided to stick together while searching for James. As long as they were together they could find the others, but they weren't ready to lose any more friends in the process. So they set out down the busiest streets in town overhearing some of the locals talking about how busy the town had become because everyone knew that this town was the best to watch the parade. They asked a local about the purpose of this parade.
"Oh isn't that why you came?" The shopkeeper replied.
"I don't know why we came." Hanna replied, "You see our father brought us here without telling us why, and now we have gotten separated. I'm sure we'll find him but this parade sounds fun."
