I woke back up at noon with the sun beaming through the window into my eyes and the prince sitting on my bed staring at me with curiosity. I stared back at him with the same look then he let out a loud laugh that I have never heard come from him which scared me but I couldn't help but laugh along with him. After our laughs died down I asked, " What was that about?" He answered honestly, " I don't know." then we started laughing again. Once our laughter died down again he said, " I came to inform you that it is time for dinner but if you are not hungry then you don't have to eat." I nodded and got out of bed and went to the bathroom, when I came back out the prince was gone.
I wore an elegant red long off shoulder dress and red open toe bow ankle strap stiletto heels and walked to the dining room. When I entered the room the prince and the valet stood up from their seats which startled me then the valet pulled my chair out and gestured for me to sit. Everyone was staring at me and I immediately regretted coming out of my room but I still walked over and had a seat and the valet pushed my chair in. Then the prince and the valet had a seat too. Everyone stared at me which made me very uncomfortable but I mustered some courage and started to eat. When I took my first bite the prince smiled and started to eat too. The rest of dinner was silent and awkward.
Once everyone was finished eating we were allowed to leave, when I walked out of the dining room I was pulled to the side and dragged to a small room that I didn't recognize but I recognized the people that dragged me away. Abigail stood in front of me with a couple of her followers standing behind her. Abigail yelled angrily, " Who do you think you are, what are you doing that we aren't?" I stood frozen and speechless. Then Abigail slapped me and I could feel tears coming to the surface but I didn't allow myself to cry because that would show weakness and I am not weak. Then I was pulled to a chair and was tied down with my hands behind my back and each of my feet tied to a chair leg.
Hours later I remember being curled up in a ball in the corner of the room, every inch of my body sore from being punched, kicked, and slapped continuously. I hear the door to the room creak open then silence so I look up and see Prince Max, the valet, and Emily staring at me with shock and anger. Emily ran beside me and tried to hug me but I pushed her away and groaned in pain. Prince Max walked slowly up to me with his hands in a fist and bent down to look me in the eyes and he asked softly, " Who did this to you?" I somehow squeak out, " Abigail." Then he gets up and walks out taking the valet with him. Minutes later I hear screaming and people walking down the stairs, then the front door opens and I hear something being thrown out into the gravel then I hear the prince say harshly, " Leave." Then I hear Abigail protest, " No you can't do this to me!" Then the front door closed. And the prince stood in front of me and said worriedly, " Mr. Williams is calling the doctor now, you will be ok." I close my eyes and feel strong arms wrap around me and lift me gently. I whimper in pain each step they take, then I am gently placed on a soft comfortable bed and I look up to see the prince holding my hand. Then I close my eyes and fall asleep from exhaustion.
