After lunch the prince called everyone to the ballroom, he sat on the sofa and had everyone stand in a line in front of him. When all of us had arrived he stood up and announced, " Today is a very important day, my parents will be coming to meet all of you. They will be here around 2 this evening." After that everyone was panicking and whispering to each other. We all were sent back to our rooms and I went through my closet to find the best dress I had to wear in front of his parents. I decided to wear the homemade dress my mother made for me. I wore it the first time meeting the prince, why not with his parents too.
At 1:00 Emily came to my room in a bit of a panic but I managed to calm her down and we stayed together eating mini york peppermint patties, hershey's kisses, and mini reese's cups. In the middle of our conversation I reached back down into Teddy and realized he was empty. I got out of bed and opened the door slightly so I could peak out. I stepped out to look over the rails in front of my room, still wearing a panda shirt and a pair of black shorts. I caught sight of the valet as he was walking to the library so I called out, " Mr. Williams I need some assistance please." He looked up at me and said, " Alright Miss. Angel I will be up to assist you in a minute." He continued to walk and I headed back into my room with Emily.
A few minutes later, " You needed some assistance Miss Angel." Mr. Williams said. " Yeah we ran out of snacks and I was wondering if you or someone could get more." I asked nervously. " No problem, what kind of snacks are you wanting?" Mr. Williams asked. I looked at Emily and whispered, " Do you want the same snacks or something different?" Emily whispered back, " Something different like mini snickers and milky ways." I turned back to Mr. Williams and said, " Mini hershey bars, mini snickers, mini milky ways, and mini m&ms." He nodded and walked back downstairs. 1:33, the valet finally came back with 2 bags of snacks. He bought 2 medium bags of each candy. Emily and I jumped up and down and said thank you at the same time which earned a smile from the valet.
At 2:00 everyone gathered in the ballroom to wait for the prince's parents. Just a few minutes later the valet, the prince and his parents came into the room and the valet announced, " I announce the appearance of King and Queen Mr and Mrs. Vanidestine." The king had straight light auburn hair, blue eyes and wore a white and gold embroidered tuxedo. The queen had black wavy hair that flowed down her back, hazel eyes and wore white and gold mermaid v-neck long sleeve backless dress. They stood at the front door with their heads high and made their way through the ballroom greeting everyone.
Emily and I stood by the entrance of the kitchen away from the crowd. Megan saw me and walked up to me and asked, " Would you like some chocolate cake Miss. Angel?" That was a hard decision, this is the prince's parents but also I would love some chocolate cake to calm my nerves. After awhile I finally decided, " Yes I would love some chocolate cake Megan." She grinned from ear to ear and went to get a piece of cake. When she came back she was holding a small saucer with a piece of a triple chocolate layer cake.
While Emily and I were waiting I shared a few bites with Emily and she eventually got a piece of her own. When the king and queen finally made it to us the queen stopped in her tracks when she saw the plates in our hands then she turned to the prince who was smirking at me and giggled, Emily and I looked at each other in confusion and waited for the queen to explain. The queen said, " You must be Angel, it is so nice to meet you. My son has told me so much about you." I looked back and forth between her and Max shocked while I shook her hand. I looked over at Emily who was staring at me with a huge smile on her face. Why was I so surprised that he told his parents about me?
