As I continued to eat I thought about all the things I would do to Abigail if we were back home and not in this situation. After dinner the prince pulled me into the living room and said something I wasn't expecting, he said, " I'm sorry for arguing with you earlier, will you forgive me?" I looked at him with confusion and shock then said, " Sure." He looked at me suspiciously before walking away. I stood still for a minute asking what just happened then decided to go back to my room and to bed.
The next morning I woke up to my mom calling me, I answered the phone and the voice I heard on the other end made my skin crawl. He said so casually, " Good morning Buttercup. Did you have a good sleep? I am sorry for startling you yesterday. I am so proud of you." I asked with concern, " Where is my mother?" He said, " Your mother is fine, she is being pampered by my friends." I asked, " Where is she, I want to speak to her." I could hear him walk to another room with a lot of voices through the phone. " Oh Angel, are you free today? I found a really nice place, very beautiful and many friendly people." I could tell that she didn't know that wherever she was, was being run by my father. I said, " Well tell me where you are and I will see if I can join you today." She said, " I am at The luxurious Zalion Massage and Spa." After he hung up the phone I wiggled into a pair of pants and ran downstairs to the library where I found the valet and the prince chatting. They both looked at me with shock all over their faces when they didn't see me in a dress. I explained the situation and we rushed out of the palace to save my mother. The valet said that I was probably overthinking the situation but I knew that something was wrong.
