"I need you to erase all footage involving us in Nicole's disappearance." Jack stood outside on the phone, "keep in mind that we thought she was dead; what these people have done to her is worst than death."
"Now that the father is out of the way, we must ensure all evidence is erased and keep Claire clear of any documents. We gave her that ranking for a reason. Quiet, someone is coming; we will continue this conversation."
"Yes, Boss." Jack hung up the phone, pulling out his unlimited premium black card with a gold layer around the edge. No one knows he owns one, as he linked it with his apple pay.
Growing up, his mother always taught him to be wise, always be ahead, and recognize enemies by keeping them close.
"Marcus, hey buddy, I never saw you standing behind me."
Marcus nodded at Jack, "the way you jumped, I could swear you are hiding something." Jack placed his hand in his pocket and walked up to Marcus, "we all have something to hide, don't we?"
Marcus looked at him suspiciously, "I guess we do; as long as what we are hiding can't hurt the people we care for, we can hide as much as we want."
"Guys, the pizza is ready."
"Let's head back."
Angela and Nicole sat in the front, while Jack and Marcus sat in the back. They decided to take Angela's car because Jack's spot model car only fit two people.
On their way back, Jack received an anonymous text with GPS coordinates, "who's that texting you, Jack? Is it that Claire again? She has changed so much," said Nicole. Marcus rolled his eyes.
"No, yes, it's Claire; she wanted to know how you are."
"Why wouldn't she ask me directly? She is looking for your attention."
"Dont worry about it." Marcus looked down at Jack's phone he was holding in his hand.
"Looking abit nervous, Jack. Is everything okay?"
"Yes, I am fine, thank you." He put his phone in his pocket; Angela stopped at the traffic light. Four men with balaclavas ran up to the seven series BMW in front of them, pulling out guns. Nicole screamed, drawing the men's attention as two men from the other side ran up to GTI, standing in front of the window holding their rifles. Nicole had started holding her head, screaming, "stop."
The men started to panic because of the attention she was drawing. Other cars in the back started to hoot. Angela took a deep breath, "come on, guys, we will recover the vehicle."
Marcus became angry as he stepped out of the car, holding his hand firmly at the back of him. Not noticing Marcus could be armed, the men wanted to take the car and get out of there. Within a split second, Marcus shot the two men hijacking; the other four men in the front car opened fire as people ran out of their cars to dodge the bullets. Nicole was screaming, holding her head, and closing her ears. Marcus pressed the emergency button on his device.
As four white BMW X5S raced to the scene, the men looked surprised when they saw they got surrounded by sixteen men pointing rifles at them. He had two buttons to choose from on his device: a black button, which indicated life, and a red one indicated kill; without questions asked, he looked at his sister and Angela as Jack stood there. It will be a bloody spill if he presses the red button. Cops were coming; they could hear the sirens. The men dropped their weapons and got on their knees with their hands behind their heads.
A man with a half-head of a scorpion tattooed down the side of his face, wearing a black suit, walked to the main guy between the four men and leaned down. Taking a deep breath, as the men turned around, he immediately recognized who this man was. The other three men turned around in fear as the anticipation of death made them sweat, their hands moist.
"Please, we beg you, we never meant to harm anyone. We were doing as we instructed."
They called this man the -silencer- he moved his nose close to their neck and breathed in their fear, glancing up at Marcus, and nodding; Marcus shook his head without anyone noticing. Angela felt goosebumps just by the look of this guy. That's when he placed his finger to the Hijacker's mouth, "please no, please, please, I beg you."
The Silencer's eyes grew somewhat darker than it already was since his eyeballs were tattoos black.
The silencer whispered, "Tongue," knowing the Silencer, cutting the tongue was one of the easiest torture methods he used. He would take a rusted blade, grip the tongue and cut through it, enjoying every second.
Marcus pressed the black button twice for them to leave. The silencer ignored his instructions, grabbed the shooter by the hair, and dragged him into the X5. Jack got annoyed because he did not want his sister to witness this. Jack climbed out of the golf with his hands in his pocket. The silencer had not seen Jack until he stepped out. He immediately released the shooter without Marcus or anyone noticing anything.
He bowed down, making no eye contact, climbed into the X5, and they sped off, and a few seconds later, the cops pulled up to arrest the hijackers. Nicole had calmed down, and no one was injured. While arresting the suspects, the cop found a note in the shooter's pocket, written "Death" the note was folded so small that the arresting officer would not see it if it hadn't fallen from his pocket.
The suspect went crazy, screaming, "death, death, silencer death," he pulled away from the officer, shooting himself in the head; as the bullet shell fell to the ground, a pool of blood flowed beneath him. Our circles are often filled with those we think we know until death enters that circle.
People were screaming, and things were chaotic. Angela reversed and pulled away as fast as she could.
"What the hell just happened, Marcus? Who are those people."
Marcus denied knowing them, but Jack, who was quiet, knew the truth. It sweated through his pores as his heart raced; with the anticipation of the unknown, they had almost ignored his instruction. What does this mean?
"They recognized you, Marcus. But we will leave it at that."
"Let's get home and eat. I'm starving," Jack joked. Marcus turned to Jack noticing something shiny in his pocket.
"What is that, Jack?" Jack followed Marcus's eyes and noticed his card sticking out slightly, "it's a surprise." Nicole sat up straight, "a surprise for me?"
"Yes, it's for you, but your brother spoiled the surprise, but I am not telling you what it is."
"Thats so sweet, Jack. When do I get my surprise?"
"Tomorrow, in the afternoon."
"Jack, that guy looked at you, or am I imagining myself?"
"No, he did not. You imagine yourself."
"Marcus, don't turn this on, my brother. Those men knew you. Why else would they pitch when we were getting hijacked?"
"Sister, it could have been any of those guys who alerted the men. Maybe it's undercover agents."
"Undercover agents looking like zombies? You go to to be kidding me."
"Are you kidding me? Who instructed such exposure?"
"Sir, the black button was pressed twice."
"Thats not how we operate in the bloody public. I want Marcus here!" The general took the knife and hit it on the table.
"Was any soldier present when you showed up on the scene,"
"No, Sir."
"Well, bring Marcus to me, and let's find out why he pressed the black button twice."
Marcus felt slightly stressed knowing the rule things had gone too far.
They were sitting home eating Pizza when the doorbell rang, "Nicole, how are you feeling?"
"I am fine, Angela. Sorry about earlier."
"So you remember what happened earlier and when memories from what has happened will make you forget?"
Nicole frowned, "I guess so?"
Angela walked over to the door. It was Claire, "Hey Claire, is everything okay? You seem pale."
"I am fine, thanks. Would you mind getting me a glass of water?"
"Sure, we have soda in the fridge also? Would you like some?"
"No thanks, just water would be fine. Thank you."
"Claire, what's wrong? You look as pale as someone who has spent days in the snow without any sun,"
"I am sorry, Marcus, but they are coming for you," She whispered.
"Who is coming for me? I did nothing wrong?"
"You had us exposed to the public, almost blowing our cover. The big boss is not happy with you. It would be best if you got away from here ASAP. He sent people after you to kill you."
"But Claire, if you are a soldier, you can protect me and get through to them. Say I was protecting my family?"
"I get one credit to save a life. It is either my life in the future or your life now. I gave you a headstart. Get out of here." Jack stood by the kitchen door and overheard everything.
