Every life has been given the guidance of either sides of divine heritage, destined to battle for dominance for their God's will, and destined to be controlled forever. Harmony, justice, fear and chaos were created to balance life, and to entertain the Divine Gods for eternity. Witnessing the wickedness of the Gods actions, one God has chosen to defy all the Gods for the sake of mortality, he knew the consequence that will befall him, but even so, he sought out light from a mortals heart to conquer unending darkness from above, a warrior that will break the balance of harmony and chaos and replace it with freedom and hope. But the Gods saw through this inevitable future, and has locked this God away from their creations. Rendering him and his blessing forgotten. But before they got the chance to banish him, he cast out his divination out to the realm of mortals, in hopes of finding the right warrior, to bring not only the light, but darkness, equal enough to take on the four Divine God's evil plans, destined to make his own destiny, and create freedom, away from the palm of Celestials hands.

Chapter 1 - A God's Exile

Mortals, created by accident through the playful actions of the God of Creation, accidentally creating life through an unmerciful explosion that created the universe, with his four Children longing for entertainment, they wanted to best each other through everything, knowing that they are all equal in power, they've decided to bless mortals with their divination to create champions based on their Divine rule. Claiming a land with mortals living within, each of them starting a kingdom that will serve as a land of their ruling, with them choosing a King with their own blessing to rule the kingdom and the mortals they've blessed to best each other with their own champions to face each other's kingdoms, this was all made possible through their Father's deep slumber.

Eutopus, ruled by Elphonius, the God of Euphony, a land full of music, with its people enraptured by the harmonious magic the God of Euphony bestows upon them. Though the magic they focus on bewitches the ears of anyone who seeks harmony through music, it also shatters those who seek to destroy it.

Eucerus, ruled by Akimbra, the God of Equity, a land governed by justice, with its people focusing on only bringing neutrality for their land. Like the God of Akimbra's divination, their power comes from Akimbra's unending crave for objectivity, focusing on empowering others with cataclysmic physical prowess when battling others who seek to defy their justice.

Felreal, ruled by Feral, the God of Terror, a land that feeds on others' fears, with its people enthralled by the power of the God of Terror's thirst for the trepidation that others feel when facing his emanating power. Though Feral enjoys mortals succumbing to his presence with fear, he seeks protection for his people, giving them the fear of life and death, but not the fear of war.

Loudominus, ruled by Rompious, the God of Chaos, a land where its people seek only what its God seeks, complete chaos for all the lands. They act out of the shadows, doing their best to turn fate on their side, manipulating the circulation of life, all for their God's desire of Discord throughout the realm of mortals.

These four Divine Gods have created these Kingdoms to best one another, proving their power to each other, using mortals as their champions to succeed their divination, in order to overpower each other's lands.

History was written in the books of life, knowing four Gods created mortality, created the four Holy Kingdoms of Relhide, gave mortals their divine blessings to dominate each other, and made their powers known throughout the world, giving way for mortals to worship them and fight for their will.

But history has always been wrong from the beginning. Banished from his title of "God", Quiltillus, the forgotten God of Equilibrium, locked away from using his divine power, who once sought Hope for mortals to live their own life, he enjoyed watching mortals evolve on their own, living happily by their own rules, how they prevailed together by their own strength, how they fell to the ground, and how they succeeded through their failings. So he wanted the balance of Man and God to return, he sought prevention of the Gods creation of each kingdom, he didn't want the Gods to take the mortal's freedom away from them, he wanted to fight for the life that he adored. His disapproval of the other Gods decision cost him his power, title, and immortality, cast out to the realm of mortals, Quiltillus felt the age, the air, the land, and blood. He was left forgotten, as the other Gods were worshipped and loved by their own people, Quiltillus sat down in an old undiscovered cave, locking himself with whatever power he has left, turning himself into stone, enabling mortals to claim his power, but only who he deems worthy.

Talok, the God of Security, forced to send Quiltillus to the realm of mortality, for the four Divine Children of The Creator deems it so.

"This is madness brother, Father created the mortals because he wanted to see prosperity in his own creation, not this!"

The four of them glances at Quiltillus one last time, and orders to seal the Divine Gate forever as Akimbra deemed it.

"Unfold the Gates Talok..."

Quiltillus looks towards Talok, begging to not continue his cowardly act in favor of their will.

"Talok, you know this is madness on their behalf, don't do this!"

Rompious speaks with chaos in his tone. Laughing at Quiltillus' last beg for mercy.

"Haha, you think he'll listen to you alone? While Father rests for eternity, every other God's will answers to his children only, and you, are no child of The creator..."

Quiltillus grits his teeth in confusion to Rompious' words.

"What nonsense are you spouting... I am a child of The one! Your brother! I am the God of Equilibrium, and all I want is to end this so-called "balance" that you four speak of!"

Rompious smiles with happiness as he reveals the punishment for treason against them.

"A God? No, as of now you are no more than a mere, wretched, weak, and petty mortal, roaming the ground with its faulty feet!"

With the Divine Gate opened behind Quiltillus, the aura of life entering his body just from the presence of the realm, sealing his power and rule as God, and feeling the energy of mortality coursing through his new mortal flesh.

"No, I can't go down there. Brother Feral, please! You know that your actions defies Father's order right?! Have you lost your mind? Or are you just afraid again?!"

Feral stares at Quiltillus, and nothing more.

"Sister Akimbra! Is this the justice that your rule speaks of? Have you lost your sense of Fairness in all of this madness?!"

Akimbra kept her eyes shut and looked at no one else.

"What is wrong with all of you?! Elphonius-"

Elphonius interrupts him to speak what is on his mind.

"No Quiltillus, what is wrong with you!? We are Gods, we rule everything that father creates. It is only right that we, who are above them, rule their lands and fates."

Quiltillus in despair, questions everything Elphonius spoke of.

"What are you talking about? Father taught us that whoever has power, must protect those who don't have it! This isn't protection, this is domination!"

Rompious laughs in his final words for Quiltillus' presence inside the Realm of divinity.

"Hahaha, I don't know if you've been deaf from the beginning brother. Father is not here, and he'll never be here ever again, it is our turn to rule. It should've been yours as well... Do it Talok!"

As Talok banishes Quiltillus' mortal body, Rompious spoke of what awaits him in the realm of mortals.

"You will fall, you will be scratched, you will be betrayed, you will be punished, you will die."

Quiltillus' whole was transported out of the realm of divinity and his powers sealed.

"You will see what the mortals you so dearly love are truly like brother, we might rule over them now, but they still and forever will act by their own desires..."

Talok after closing the Divine Gate, questioned the actions of the four Divine Gods towards their own brother.

"If I may ask, why go so far... for all of this? Why lock your own brother out of his home."

Rompious faces Talok with a smile and questions his loyalty.

"Isn't it a little too late to question our actions now Talok? Or have you perhaps decided that you will turn your back against us?"

Talok kneels and replies with an apologetic tone to Rompious for his question

"My apologies Divine God Rompious, but now that we have your brother's power sealed inside a Gilded Grimoire, we're shall I leave?"

Rompious replies with an angry tone

"I couldn't care any less about his powers Talok, I mean its the power of Equilibrium, it's probably a dull kind of divination given from father that is completely useless in battle... Throw it away!"

Akimbra proposes that the Grimoire is to be kept at her kingdom with her.

"No, I'll keep it Talok, we haven't seen Quiltillus' power yet, it could prove useful for us in the future."

Rompious looks at Akimbra and says.

"Whatever, do as you wish my dear sister, as long as you seal it far away from Quiltillus as possible..."

Rompious walks away from the other three Gods while saying

"Just remember... I'll do my best to cause chaos throughout the realm, and this time... Father isn't awake to stop me..."

Feral, Akimbra, and Elphonius look past Rompious' words and focuses on their plans for their own kingdom.

"Tsk, the nonsense that he spouts sometimes make me question his leadership..." -Elphonius said

And with all four of them continuing on with their plans for their kingdoms, Quiltillus woke up looking up in the sky, laying down in the middle of a village, with people surrounding him, curious about where he came from. He was exhausted from the pressure of the height that he was thrown off from that he was struggling to get up and speak.

"Is he dead?"

"No, I think he's just a drunkard."

"Who is he? I haven't seen him here before."

"He looks like a wanderer."

"A wandering drunkard perhaps?"

Quiltillus sat up and tried to tell what he is to the mortals, telling them that he is a God from above.

"I am- I am not a wandering drunkard... I am a- I'm a God from the Realm of Divinity!"

Quiltillus stood up and stood tall from the mortal's presence.

"I am... I'm the God of Equi-"

Before Quiltillus finished his sentence, he passed out face-first to the ground from the exhaustion he felt from the pressure of the Divine Gate.

"And... he's dead."

"No, I think he's just passed out..."

"Mother, why is that man cleaning the ground with his face?"

"I don't know honey... I don't know."

The Village chief came towards the crowd and saw Quiltillus' body passed out face first and wanted him patched up and carried into the village town hall.

"Well don't just stand there and mock his position, patch him up and carry him inside the village town hall."

Men carried him inside the village town hall and was treated by village doctors. Quiltillus slept for about 12 hours after he was treated and woke up inside the village clinic. Quiltillus looked around the hut and saw a boy on his right, looking at him.

"Hello there little one, well aren't you adorable?"

The little boy asked.

"Hello, Wandering drunkard, what brings you to our village?"

Quiltillus was offended and questioned the boy's description of him.

"I am not a wandering drunkard! Who said I look like one huh!? Where did you hear it from?"

The boy answered with a smile.

"From everyone, my uncle, my mother, my grandpa, the village guards, and from my friends."

Quitillus looks at his outfit and agrees that he looks a bit awful.

sigh "Well... I do look like one."

The boy pointed at the drawer on Quiltillus' left and said.

"The village tailor had some extra clothes for you on your left, she personally said that it would make you look like a wandering bandit instead."

Quiltillus questioned the village tailor's taste in clothing.

"Tsk, a wandering bandit isn't any better than being a wandering drunkard..."

The boy replied with a smile and said.

"She had other clothes too, but she said it would make you look like a wandering pervert instead."

Quiltillus looks at the little boy and asks for his age.

"Kid, how old are you again?"

The kid answered

"I'm currently nine years old."

Quiltillus responded with an irritating grin.

"You know a lot of words for a nine-year-old mortal huh?"

The village chief let himself in and talked with Quiltillus and asked questions that needed to be answered.

"Ralf, how on earth did you get in here?! Go on, get out! You're disturbing the wandering drunkard's rest."

Quiltillus whispered to himself.

"I told you, I'm not a wandering drunkard."

The little boy bid farewell to Quiltillus and left the hut for the meantime.

"See you around the village Wandering pervert."

Quiltillus responded with.

"Wandering pervert is worse!!"

The village chief sat down and asks Quiltillus where he came from, and what he is.

*coughs* "Sorry about Ralf, he's a good and gullible kid. Everyone loves him."

Quiltillus responded with.

"Not everyone..."

The village chief asked for his name.

"Well anyway, may I ask for your name first?"

Quiltillus replied.

*ehem* "I am Quitillus, the God of Equilibrium, the fifth son of The One, and I am from the Realm of Divinity!"

The village chief agrees with doubtful thoughts.

"Right... Well umm, Mister Quiltillus, may I ask... how we're you able to end up in the middle of our village? With all the walls surrounding our good home?"

Quiltillus responded with

"Oh well, you see I was banished by my siblings, there's four of them Elphonius, Akim-"

The village chief continued the sentence for Quiltillus.

"Elphonius, Akimbra, Feral, and Rompious am I right?"

Quiltillus was shocked and confused about how mortals knew about his siblings.

"Yeah... yeah, how'd you know who they are?"

The village chief responded with.

"Everyone knows who they are, mister Quiltillus. They rule the four Divine kingdoms of Relhide after all."

Quiltillus asked for his name being known as well, laughing with excitement.

"Wait, so if you know my brothers and sister, then you know who I am right?"

The village chief replies.

"I'm afraid I don't know you mister Quiltillus..."

The village chief repeats everything that Quiltillus told.

"So let me get this straight mister Quiltillus. You're a God, and you're the brother of the four Divine Gods of Balance?...."

Quiltillus questioned the title of his four siblings.

"Four Divine Gods of Balance? Balance is my rule though..."

The village chief said in a doubtful tone.

"Right... God of Equilibrium... balance."

The village chief then asks.

"So, how did you, mister Quiltillus end up in the middle of our village again?"

Quiltillus tried to clear up the story of his banishment and said.

"That's what I was telling you, I was banished from my home and sent down here, into the realm of mortals."

The village chief stayed silent and instead invited Quiltillus into the wonderful places in their village.

"...Well, mister Quiltillus, since you won't tell me how you got here, I won't pry any further into your business, but if we find out that you're a threat to our home, we won't hesitate to get rid of you at once. Well, besides that, you can go enjoy yourself at our lovely tavern, buy a drink. Or fancy yourself some new clothes in the Village Tailoring shop... because you... kinda do look like a wandering pervert."

Quiltillus replied with.

"I'm not a wandering pervert! That doesn't matter, what matters is that I have to see one of my siblings at once, and convince them to give me my powers back!"

The village chief responded with a doubtful tone and asked.

"Your siblings?... The Four Divine Gods of balance?..."

Quiltillus replied with.

"Yes, that's them I guess."

The village chief had enough of the nonsense he thought Quiltillus was spouting and said.

"Right... Well, you've gone beyond with your lies just to hide your true intentions. I suppose I'll let myself out then, see you around the village mister Quiltillus... the God of.. something."

Quitillus replied with.

"It's... Equilibrium."

The village chief replied with.

"Uh-huh, got it... see you around, God of Equilibroom."

The village chief left the hut after trying to ask Quiltillus some questions, in which he never got the answers he needed. Quiltillus sat up from the village clinic bed and questioned himself on the Village chief not believing his divinity.

sigh "Why won't he believe that I am a God... If only I could use my powers right now, oh wait, my Grimoire! One of my siblings should have it, they wouldn't throw it away after all."

Quiltillus stood up from the bed and gathered himself to leave the hut.

"Alright, let's see the mortals realm in its own beauty..."

With curiosity, Akimbra opened her brother's book, Quiltillus' Gilded Grimoire to look through at his power could possibly be, while reading through the pages of Quiltillus adoration for the mortals, she notices that a page was missing from the book, a torn page was missing from the Grimoire of Equilibrium, and Akimbra thought of the possibility of Quiltillus' return from banishment.

"Hmph, that guy.... never gives up I guess..."

Quiltillus opened the village clinic door and stepped outside, as his first step and look outside of the hut, he sees kids playing around the village square, mortals working at their farms, working at their own capabilities, and people smiling at each other, everyone caring for each other, knowing their own worth. These sights made Quiltillus remember why he defied his siblings in the first place, he remembered what he was trying to save, what he was trying to defend from the hands of destruction from his brothers and sister.

"So this is the Realm of mortals huh? This- this is what I must protect..."

Quiltillus not only remembered what his journey's purpose is, but he also realized his powerlessness, the feeling of flesh and bones, the air that humans breathe, the sights that they see... Quiltillus felt powerless, he knew the one page of his powers isn't even a quarter of his true strength, he only thought of one possible solution.

"But I can't, there's no way I can defy four entire Divine Kingdoms on my own, not on this state, but... if they're blessing mortals with their divinity as their champions..."

Quiltillus decided that he must bless a mortal as his own champion, to fight for his rule, to fight for every mortal.

"I can't fight alone. It's settled then, It's time... for a King's Transcendence."
