Chapter 2 - Coronation of Chaos

[Ciunsel Village Townhall]

The Village Chief Rand and other higher ups of the village were gathered to discuss about the matters of the conflict that their Kingdom Enhallkein has with the Divine Kingdom Loudominus and the casualties the war might cause to their own village.

"I'm guessing you all know why I called for you all here today, our village is at the middle of both the Kingdom of Enrallkein and The Divine Kingdom of Loudominus..."

Everyone reacts with concern and asks if the Kingdom Enrallkein will send protection for their village.

"But Chief Rand, the Kingdom will protect us from looters right? They won't possibly ignore us, they can't."

Chief Rand replied with a disappointed tone.

"I'm afraid i'm not sure that they'll protect our village this time..."

As everyone panics from the situation, Chief Rand reassures them and says.

"But don't worry, the kingdom at least provided us with the time that the Divine Kingdom of Loudominus might attack. We have at least 4 days to evacuate everyone to safety."

The Village Organizer Toul with disgust said.

"Tsk, they knew when the other kingdom will attack our area, and yet all they do is suggest us to go somewhere else?"

Chief Rand responded with.

"It's alright, we can find a new place safe, far away from the battle at least."

Everyone suggests that they should move to another kingdom.

"We should go to another kingdom like Yolharp, at least that kingdom doesn't get in fights with other kingdoms."

Chief Rand replies with.

"We can discuss our destination later. For now, help everyone with packing up everything, we can't waste any time."

As Quiltillus looks around the village's shops, the little boy grabbed his shirt and asked Quiltillus to let him show him around their village with a smile as his own personal guide.

"Hey, mister wandering pervert. Come, i'll show you around our village myself."

Quiltillus responded with an irritated look.

"Not that name again..."

The little boy grabbed Quiltillus' hands and took him towards the village square, villagers saw them both and we're mostly looking at Quiltillus' appearance, he whispered to himself.

sigh "I have to get better clothing than this, I look like a mugger in the woods..."

Quiltillus asked the little boy about his name as both of them we're walking around the village square.

"So umm, it's Ralf right?"

The little boy Ralf with a smile replied.

"Yup! What about you mister wandering pervert? What's your name?"

Quiltillus responded with an irritating grin.

"You little- it's Quitillus..."

Ralf volunteered to show Quiltillus around the village with permission from the village chief himself. He showed Quiltillus around the village tailoring shop first to visit the local tailor.

"Nice to meet you mister Quailtillus! I personally volunteered to show you around our beautiful village, but first I need to pick up the clothes tailored for my mother. So let's head on over there first."

Quiltillus with a irritated yet sad tone replied.

"It's- it's Quiltillus..."

Ralf took Quiltillus' hand and invited him inside the shop to meet the local village tailor.

"Come on, mister Quailtillus. I want you to meet Big sister Alrie!"

Quiltillus was pulled inside by Ralf with his wrist grabbed by him.

"Alright alright, stop pulling me unnecessarily!"

Quiltillus and Ralf went inside the tailoring shop and as Quiltillus was looking around the beautiful sets of clothes designs hanging from the wall, little Ralf ran straight towards Alrie, The village tailor.

"Big sister Alrie!"

The village tailor Alrie saw Ralf and Quiltillus and immediately stopped sewing and ran straight towards Ralf as well.

"Ralfie! C'mere you."

As both of them hug each other out, Ralf introduced Quiltillus to her with excitement.

"Big sister Alrie, I brought the wandering drunk pervert with me. His name is Quailtil-"

Quiltillus interrupted Ralf to properly introduce himself to Alrie.

"It's Quiltillus... not Quail, and also Im not drunk nor a pervert. Nice to meet you village tailor."

Alrie stood up and greeted Quiltillus in a polite manner and asked him about his clothing.

"Nice to meet you too, mister Quiltillus. Do you find my work comfortable?"

Quiltillus replied with a smile.

"Well, besides me looking like a wandering pervert in everyone's eyes, I actually find it comfortable, thank you."

Alrie clapped with joy and replied with a smile.

"Well, i'm glad you liked it. Don't worry, I just finished a new set of formal clothes just for you, our guest! Assuming that you're not like a spy sent from another kingdom or something."

Quiltillus responded with.

"Oh, no I'm not something like that."

Alrie replied with a smile and said.

"Oh, great! Because with you just appearing in the middle of our village is kind of strange-"

Quiltillus interrupted Alrie by telling them that he is a God from the Realm of Divinity.

"I am the God of Equilibrium, and me appearing here all of sudden was my banishment from my home."

Alrie with disbelief, replied with a smile and said.

"Well... that sounds like a story from a kid's book! You should go talk to Dalrune sometime, he loves writing stories as well for the kids at the orphanage."

Quiltillus tried to tell the truth to her and said.

"No, I really am a God from above, I'm one of the five Children of The One-"

Alrie interrupted Quiltillus, continuing her work for the orders of her customers.

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have like, 10 more orders from customers that I have to go work on. You can thank the village priest, she paid for the clothes for you. Take care Ralfie, and you too umm.... God of Equili-something."

Quiltillus whispers to himself.

sigh "Why do I even bother at this point."

Ralf looks at Quiltillus and said to him with a smile.

"I don't think that's the right way to make a woman fall in love with you, mister Quailtillus."

Quiltillus replied with.

"You know for a mere mortal, you're one of the few that's ever irritated me this much in my whole existence..."

Ralf smiled and suggests for Quiltillus to wear the new clothes Alrie made for him.

"Come on, try on the new clothes Big sister Alrie made for you."

Quiltillus grabbed the clothes and walked inside the dressing room, trying out the garment made for him.

"This is- ugh, it's kind of hard wearing the thing- ow!"

Ralf waits for Quiltillus to finish up patiently while humming with excitement. Quiltillus finishes up and shows off to Ralf on how he looks.

"So, how do I look?"

Ralf in awe, responds with a smile.

"Woah, you look cool! Like a rich Merchant from the Kingdom!"

Quiltillus replies with

"Huh, I'm surprised you didn't say something nasty like-"

Ralf Interrupts him to finish his description of Quiltillus' look.

"Like a Perverted Royalty!"

Quiltillus replies with.

sigh "There it is..."

Ralf takes his arm and pulls him again for the next location of his tour of the village.

"Come on, we have many more places to go to!"

Ralf pulls Quiltillus' wrist heading towards the local village tavern, Ralf's home.

"Welcome! To my house."

Quitillus looks around at the full tavern with the smell of food and wine all over the room.

"Wow, this is... Nice, this is your home?"

Ralf nods his head confirming the tavern as his home, calling his father, the cook at the back of the kitchen.

"Father, I brought over the guy that appeared out of nowhere in our tavern!"

Ralf's Father looked at Quiltillus and introduces himself to him.

"Hello, ugh, wandering drunk-"

Quiltillus interrupts him and insists on introducing himself.

"Please, call me Quiltillus... my real name."

Ralf's Father continues to introduce himself to Quiltillus.

"Oh uh, mister Quiltillus, my name is Seminer, the owner of this local tavern, father of little Ralf over here. Sorry for the things this kid might've caused you, he's a little too excited when something new happens around our village, he's a good kid."

Quiltillus reassures Seminer about Ralf's behavior towards him.

"Oh worry not, mister Seminer. You're kid has actually been quite the company for me."

Seminer was relieved with Quiltillus' words towards Ralf.

"Oh, thank heavens. Ralf sometimes causes people annoyance, I was afraid someone might be mad at him for his actions."

Quiltillus whispers to himself.

"Someone already is..."

Seminer invites Quiltillus to settle down and enjoy the good food and wine in his tavern for free with the Village Priest's payment.

"Well, the village priest actually paid for your meals today, so you can take a seat and enjoy our meals and drink to your hearts content."

Quiltillus thought to himself.

"Wow, this village priest must like me or something."

Quiltillus asks to Seminer.

"Uh, who is this village priest you speak of?"

Seminer replies.

"Oh Consellia, she's the head of our local village church, near the village orphanage, she helps run it with Dalrune."

Quiltillus wonders about the act of kindness the village priest treats him with.

"I guess this village priest just treats people with kindness all the time, Huh?"

Seminer responds with.

"Umm, actually she loathes newcomers and visitors from outside the village. I was actually wondering about the reason of her kindness towards you."

Quiltillus replies with a smile in his face.

"Heh, well I am a likable being after all. I wouldn't be surprised for a mortal to notice my individuality with such good intentions."

Seminer replies with.

"Such prideful attitude, mister Quitillus. I love it! Well if you won't mind, I'll get back to work now. Don't disturb the man any further Ralf."

Ralf replies to his father with a sad look.

"I wasn't disturbing him, I was giving him a wonderful tour of our wonderful village, that's all."

Seminer replies with a doubtful tone.

"Yeah right, just don't get careless okay?"

Ralf nodded his head as his father returns back into the kitchen. Ralf looked at Quitillus with a sad face and asked.

"Am I a hindrance to you, mister Quailtillus?"

Quiltillus, looking at Ralf's face responded with a smile on his face.

"Well, besides getting my name wrong, and calling me a wandering drunken pervert. You've been a delight to be with!"

Ralf's frown instantly turned into a smile and he gave Quiltillus a hug.

"Yay! It's been a while since i've had an adult friend! Thank you mister Quailtillus!"

Quiltillus whispers to himself.

"You say that, yet you continue on butchering my name..."

Quiltillus then asks Ralf to show him the way towards the village church, where Consellia, the village priest is located at.

"So, where is this village church your father speaks of?"

Ralf took Quiltillus' hands once again, and guided him towards the village church.

"Come on, i'll show you the way!"

Ralf and Quiltillus headed straight towards the village church, looking for Consellia. On their way over to the church, Dalrune saw them both passing by and greeted them.

"Oh, Ralf!"

Ralf halted and greeted Dalrune back, and asked for the village priest, Consellia's location.

"Mister Dalrune! Have you seen miss Consellia around?"

Dalrune replied.

"Oh, she's at the Orphanage, I think she's just about to finish her session."

Dalrune looks at Quiltillus and introduces himself.

"Greetings, My name is Dalrune Outnlein. I work at the village farm, but I also help with the Orphanage. Nice to meet you!"

After Dalrune's introdution, Quiltillus introduces himself as well.

"Quiltillus, Nice to meet you Dalrune! I have to say for a mere mortal, you have a respectable attitude!"

Dalrune confused with Quiltillus' response, took it as a compliment and went back to the farm.

"Okay... I'll take that as a compliment, mister Quiltillus. Well, if you won't mind i'll head on back to the farm now. See you around Ralf and mister Quiltillus!"

Ralf waved Dalrune goodbye and guided Quiltillus throughout the Orphanage.

"Come on, I'll show you around the Orphanage!"

As they walk inside the Orphanage, Priest Consellia was just about to finish teaching the kids for the day. Before finishing her lecture, she saw Ralf and Quiltillus walking inside, and glanced heavily into Quiltillus' presence.

"As he sheathed his mighty sword, Knight Carolion saved the... ehem. Alright kids, that's all for today. Make sure to pick up the remaining trashes around the room before leaving! And also, after playing around I want you all to head straight home okay?!"

Consellia walked up to both Ralf and Quiltillus and greeted them.

"So, what brings you two here Ralf? And umm?"

Quiltillus introduced himself to Consellia.

"Oh, the name's Quiltillus."

Consellia replied with.

"Right, the wandering dr-"

Quiltillus interrupted Consellia, asking to not continue mentioning his new profound title from the village.

"Ahp, please... don't."

Consellia responded with.

"Oh, ugh pardon me. Well, since you're already here, I actually wanted to speak about something with you mister Quiltillus."

Quiltillus replies with.

"Sure, I was hoping to talk with you anyways."

Consellia asked for Ralf to give them some privacy.

"Would you mind giving us a couple of minutes Ralf?"

Ralf didn't mind and gave both of them privacy to chat with one another.

"Sure thing miss Consellia!"

As both of them head towards Consellia's office, the kids at the Orphanage invited Ralf to play with them.

"Ralf! Come on, join us. We're playing tag."

Ralf replied with a smile.

"Sure, i'll be right there!"

As Quiltillus enters Consellia's office full of books and scrolls around the room, she closes the door and right away grabs her book and shows it to Quiltillus.

"Look at this, do you know what this is?!"

Quiltillus looks at the book and sees the transcript used for opening and closing the Divine Gates of Divinity.

"That's- Ummm, the transcript for the Divine Gates..."

Consellia widens her eyes and smiles with excitement as she says.

"Hahaha, I see, so you know about this transcript then?"

Quiltillus thought about keeping the transcript secret, but also thought about the fact that mere mortal's cannot enter the Divine Gates either way.

"Yeah, yeah I do... Wait, how do you even know about this transcript?"

Consellia tells Quiltillus about her long researches about the four Divine God's of balance.

"Well you see, i've been researching on the arrivals of the four Divine God's of balance."

Consellia shows another book In which a drawing of the transcript of the Divine Gates was written in summoning form.

"Each God's arrival left markings of the same transcript on this book right here. It was clear that they're all Divine just from this marking right here."

Quiltillus then says.

"What are you telling me all of this again, miss Consellia?"

Consellia replies with.

"I saw it underneath you last night, mister Quiltillus. When you fell from the sky, in middle of the night. The same transcript, but only for a brief moment, yet I still saw it, crystal clear with my own eyes."

Consellia asks Quiltillus.

"Now tell me, right here, right now. Are you a God?"

Quiltillus couldn't hold back from the excitement that he felt when Consellia asked him.

"Finally! A mortal that truly sensed the Divine presence of a God! Yes, I am a God, the God of Equilibrium, Quiltillus."

Consellia replies with a doubtful tone.

"Nevermind, you actually just look and sound like a wandering drunken pervert after all..."

Quiltillus replies with.

"No! I really am a God! Please, please believe me, i've been trying to tell everyone!"

Consellia jokes around with him and reassures Quiltillus of her trust for his words.

"I'm just messing around with you, I fully believe you hehe. I even saw the phenomenon of you falling from the sky, not to mention the transcript that I saw beneath you that night."

Quiltillus was relieved and replied.

sigh "A mortal joking around with a God, who would've thought..."

Consellia then asks Quiltillus about his story.

"So... what happened to you? Did you like anger your father by knocking one of his precious vase or something? Hence why you were banished to us?"

Quiltillus replies with.

"Well, it's a pretty long story. I don't think you can-"

Consellia interrupted Quiltillus and sat down, confirming her excitement for his story.

"Go on, I'm all ears. i've been researching about this for a long time after all."

Quiltillus replies with.

"Oh, alright then."

Quiltillus then talks about his banishment from the Realm of Divinity, about his four siblings casting him out, about all the other God's fearing the four of them, and the plans that they seek for mortals, and him wanting to free their kind from the palm of his four siblings.

"...And then, they ordered Talok, the God of Security to open the Divine Gates of Divinity to banish me out of my home, My sister Akimbra and Feral didn't even glance at my banishment. After my journey of falling through the Realm Bridge, I stumbled upon your village, and got called a 'wandering drunkard' which turned to 'wandering pervert' quickly..."

After listening to Quiltillus' story, Consellia then asks him what will he do.

"Well, Divine God Quiltillus, what now?"

Quiltillus whispers to himself.

"Wow, kind of feels good being called that for once..."

Quiltillus tells Consellia about his plan of defeating the four kingdoms which his siblings created.

"Well, I think it's pretty obvious. Defeat my four siblings' kingdoms, and save mortality from their hands."

Consellia responds with.

"Such an easy plan to say. But to accomplish? Not so much..."

Quiltillus replies.

"I know that they plan on blessing mortals with powers, naming them their own champions. I plan on doing the same, although my blessing is a bit complicated... My blessing only accepts a mortal's broken self, even I don't fully understand what that means."

Consellia responds with.

"Your journey is a fascinating one, Divine God Quiltillus. I must say that-"

Dalrune interrupts them both, asking for their help on packing up the whole church and the Orphanage.

"Miss Consellia, we need to pack up all the stuff from the Orphanage and even the church, quickly."

Consellia asks Dalrune about the sudden evacuation.

"Why? What's wrong Dalrune?"

Dalrune replies.

"Chief Rand and the others have just announced our kingdom's warning of attack from the new Divine Kingdom, Loudominus. We have until 4 days, but the Village chief suggested that we act with haste."

Consellia stood up and agreed to help with the organizing of items from the Orphanage and the church.

"Alright Dalrune, i'll help with the kid's equipment and your farm as well."

Dalrune replied with.

"Thank you, i'll start with getting all the savings from the church, it could help us with expenses on the way."

Consellia replies.

"I'll pack up all my belongings first, prioritize the kids as well Dalrune, probably ask for a wagon from Toul as well."

Quiltillus offers to help them both with the unpacking.

"I'll help as well, you need all the hands you can get after all."

Consellia replies with.

"Thank you, Divine God- I mean, Thank you mister Quiltillus."

[The Land of Discord, Kingdom of Loudominus]

The Coronation of the new King of Loudominus was held at the new profound Land of Discord, claimed by Rompious himself. With Rompious' Divine Angel, Charon introducing the chosen mortal, Hans Olroun. Handpicked by Rompious himself.

"You have been chosen... Hans Olroun! To serve the God of Chaos, and seek the same path that he seeks... Discord throughout Relhide!"

Hans Olroun walks towards the throne of his Kingdom, beneath him, the carpet of the souls of the many, which seeks chaos in everything. He slowly gets closer to the presence of Rompious, awaiting the sight of him sitting at the throne, made from the flames of pain and agony.

"Come, my King, sit at the throne, and fill the world... with Chaos."

He glances at Rompious' smile, and finally sits down at the throne, looking at the world that his God promised him through the entrance.

"It's all yours... King Olroun of Loudominus."

Hans stares at the vast world in which he sees the dawning Sun, he closes his eyes, and smiles, as the power of Chaos, finally coursed deep inside his veins. Only thinking of one goal, his God's goal. Command, Destroy, and Dominate. Rompious stood upright as he blesses Hans, with his divination, and welcomes him, to the Divine Kingdom of Loudominus.

"All hail, Hans Olroun. The King... of Chaos."
