I finally made it into Lanayru. The noticeable lack of stables probably fueled some of that desire. I really don't want to be stuck out in the nonstop raining with monsters. I saw the luminous fish and thank god. I couldn't have gone much longer without dropping.
I walked up the stairway and was greeted by the fish person that had led me to Zora's Domain in the first place. Prince Sidon. He told me about Mipha, who I didn't remember, much to his and his father's dismay. He gave me a set of armor, made specially by Mipha, for all of the human Champions. Mazzu, the king's advisor was fit to be tied, as they had apparently had a dispute with the Hylians over letting their princess die.
Sidon showed me the inn, and I gratefully paid the twenty rupees for a bed, fell onto it, and was out like a light. The next morning, someone had left a meal of Seafood Paella. I gratefully ate it, got out of bed, and got ready to start my day. I wouldn't head to the Lynel to begin Ruta for a day or to. I should look around, see about side quests, and hunt.
Someone said to look in the bowels of the palace for treasure. I went down there, and they weren't kidding. I found an Iron Sledgehammer, a Zora Spear, and a ton of rupees. I had gone up the closest waterfall, when I heard someone call my name. "Link! Over here!" I walked over, and there was a Zora man there who asked me to dive into the water below and swim back up. I agreed, uncertainly, but when I completed the task, he gave me a silver rupee, worth one hundred of the green ones.
The next day, I was pretty sure I was prepared to fight. I had everything I could possibly need! I swam up the two giant waterfalls to Ploymus Mountain in Upland Zorana. Trust me, swimming up waterfalls is weird. Getting to it, I see a ton of Lizalfolos and throw a couple of remote bombs and some bomb arrows at them, which pretty much finished all of them off.
The walk up Ploymus, I started contemplating my life's choices, not that I have had many so far. But as I get up, I look in my inventory. I was supposed to have needed twenty shock arrows, and I had over fifty, but hey, maybe I can fight the Lynel. I begin shooting at the Lynel and when it gets close, hitting it. I strike the last killing blow, but it has shot another, final round of arrows, three of them at once. Three shock arrows. As it exploded into Calamity dust, I grab the weapons, just as all three arrows hit their target.
The last thing that runs through my mind is, please. Someone please help me. And then, the world goes black.
