Third Person Pov
She picked his head up, his eyes were now full of blood and emptiness. She sighed, she still hasn't gotten the information she needed from the man.
Even with Fetain at her side, they still couldn't get the precious information she longed for.
"Fetain, will you be a dear and get the knife for me?" She asked as she dropped the man's head back to its slumped position.
Without an expression, Fetain grabbed the bloody knife from the silver table and handed it to her, Y/n L/n.
She grabbed the knife from her companion, using a raven silk cloth to clean up the crimson-stained piece of metal.
She turned back to the man, picking up his head once more, and putting the knife to his throat.
She knew this would do nothing to get the man to speak, he has been playing games since she started this session.
Fetain walked over to her, "Why you no use nen?" he asked bluntly.
She smiled, and turned to face the short man, "I shall not waste my nen on such scum." She replied.
Fetain only nodded, he knew that she didn't like to waste nen on idiots like him, but she could've gotten this session over within less than a minute if she did use nen.
That's what Fetain liked about her, she was patient, just like him. She was always polite, most importantly, she was wise.
"Now, I haven't gotten anywhere with you, have I?" Y/n, a strong power inside her voice.
Fetain was taken back, he knew that Y/n had very high standards when it came to torturing people, so why was she using nen on the man she just said she wouldn't?
Y/n's nen was a beautiful thing, she was a specialist, she could ask any question, 'what's your name?' or 'how are you?' and get anyone to talk, no matter if they trained their whole life not to speak. That's what made Y/n such a great torturer, she could extract information easily and leave without a trace.
But, Y/n didn't like how easy things were for her, she rarely ever used her nen, and when she did she didn't enjoy it.
"Now, love, what was the information I needed?" Y/n asked with a sly expression.
When the words came out of her mouth, an f/c color seem to dust the eyes of her enemy. Leaving his mouth hung open in surprise.
"I- I- don't know anything, lady! I promise I don't know okay!? I'm sorry! please don't kill me!" The man pleaded.
"Goddammit!" Y/n said, leaning back from the man, "Spit it out! c'mon!"
"Y/n he no know it, stop," Fetain said, he had never really seen Y/n with this type of anger, she was usually reasonable.
Y/n took the knife a slashed the man's neck, causing a slight amount of blood to get on Y/n's cheek.
Y/n turned to Fetain, a faded expression on her face, "I'm sorry Fetain, it's just that this information is crucial to me, and, well, I can't seem to find someone who can tell me what I'm looking for."
With that confessed, Y/n dusted the non-existent dust off of her loose knee-length f/c dress and began to clean up the mess she and Fetain had made.
"Y/n boss help you." Fetain broke the silence. 'Boss' huh? Y/n had only heard about Fetain's boss through some short stories Fetain would tell her,βY/n never thought much of these stories because they never really involved her.β "Oh, you mean your boss from the Phantom Troupe?" Y/n asked, unfazed.
"Yes," Fetain said, grabbing a mop from the corner of the torcher chamber, handing it to Y/n. Y/n raised her eyebrows, she'd known that the Phantom Troupe was dangerous, but why would the leader of the troupe ever help Y/n?
With that question in mind, Y/n decided that she would ask it, "Fetain, why would your boss ever help me? Doesn't he have more important things to do?"
"I no know. Maybe he help you. But he no important thing to do." Y/n sighed, even if Fetain's boss were to help her, she knew that there would be a price.
"Thanks, Fetain, but I'm not sure, I'll get back to you for that offer, yeah?" Y/n said, giving Fetain a small smile as she picked up a chunk of a finger.
