Henry saw what was happening to Clayton on the other side, and he needed to get him over before the time ran out. He thought the system was turned off, but he had the power to turn it on. He went into the system and found a code that could control the PlayStation 4 system remotely, and he went and clicked the code, and the portal immediately open. On the other side, Clayton did not know that Henry found a way to turn the system back on. He heard a beep. The PlayStation had turned itself back on. His parents were in utter shock. How could a system turn on without anyone touching it? Clayton was like, "Henry. You did it. I knew you could." His parents thought Clayton had lost his mind. Who in the hell was Henry? Clayton had no time to spare. He kissed his parents and told his parents something before he went through.
"Mom and Dad. I love you both, but I got to finish what I've started, and I have to save my friend, Henry. If you trust me, let me go." His parents couldn't speak. They didn't even know what he was talking about. All they could do was watch as their son enter the TV and disappear. He was gone. What had happen to their son?
"Honey, did our son walk through the TV?"
"I don't know. I don't even know what's going on. And who is Henry?" Henry watched as Clayton came back through the portal. He was happy he was back. But anxious for him to go back to the game.
"Clayton, glad your back, but your parents look confused. Do you need me to fix that for you?"
"Don't bother with it. I tell them the whole story at another time. Right now, we have other things to worry about. What's going on right now with the game?" Henry went to look at the clock. It had paused. That was weird. He thought it only paused when Clayton did that.
"Clayton, it looks like the game paused. But since it can tell your back, it has unpaused. Time for you to back in and hurry this along so you can finally go home for good." Clayton gave Henry a thumbs up and got back to the game. From what Clayton remembers, we were in the gas chamber with Tifa, and she was trying to get out. She couldn't go out the door she came in since Barrett couldn't find the key. Now she had to find a way from within this room. Cause she remembered Barrett telling her the weapon was coming. She could clearly hear out the chamber people yelling about, "The weapon is coming!" Outside by the dock, the weapon was within inches from where they were. "BANG!" Tifa heard a noise, and something bangs against the dock. Weapon had finally reached the dock. Bullets were bouncing off the weapon. Nothing was penetrating it.
Meanwhile, Barrett was still trying to find a way into Tifa's room. So he and Cait Sith had to leave the room to find a way to get her out. So he told her he would be back. They went out of the room, took a left turn, and ended up where an old airship was standing. They were going to turn around and go back, but then they were surrounded by Shrina's soldiers. It looks like they were stuck.
Tifa, on the other hand, is still stuck in this room. And to make matters worse, the gas came on. So now she has to hold her breath plus found a way out of here. After looking around for the level to turn the gas off, she found it and just took a moment to get herself together. Now that she was going to live, she now had to get out of this room. A moment later, the cannon was finally ready to shot at the weapon. But the weapon was in its position too to aim. Just then, Tifa heard a noise. She didn't know what it was, but it was the weapon opening its mouth to shoot. A white beaming light lit up its mouth and got ready to shoot at the cannon. Barrett and Cait Sith were still by the old airship when the light from the weapon hit the ship. They got out just in time to avoid getting hit. Luckily, they were far enough.
"Oh my god!"
"It took out the cannon. It's headed for the city."
They both ran to the cannon and took a look. The weapon had slashed the cannon in half. The blast from the weapon tore a hole in Tifa's room. She had a way to escape. She climbed up and took a peek. Surprisingly, there was no one there. She climbed down and continued her escape. After climbing down the wall, she made it to the end of what was left of the cannon. In the sky to her left, she saw an airship. In it was the gang. They had come to her rescue. They threw out the rope ladder, and she flew across, grabbed hold, and climbed up, and Barrett helped her into the ship. They were all gathered in the airship, and they knew their next mission was to save Cloud. Clayton was fidgeting so much. Henry thought he would have to put him down. He was worried about Cloud and if they would find him before weapon got to the city. He had to get through this game. He did not want to have to go through any more trouble with this game.
Tifa was already sitting in the airship. They had to take off and save Cloud. Barrett went to open the cargo hold. All of a sudden, they heard an alarm bell ring.
"Tifa, please come up to the pilot pit." Tifa ran up to the pit to find what was going on.
"You called me? What's going on?"
"Ms. Tifa, we need to know the destination." The pilot didn't know their next destination. Tifa knew it was to find Cloud, but where was he? The only clue they had was the glowing green water. So she told the pilot to find a place close to where the liquid was last seen. Maybe they can find a clue there. Tifa acted as though she had it together. But she was worried about Cloud. This team needs him. And she necessary didn't have the courage to go up against that weapon or Meteor. Tifa only knew this team needed Cloud. Cloud knew how to lead. Even if he wasn't sure of himself sometimes. But when it got serious, he buckled down and got the job done. Just as Tifa was thinking, the pilot started telling her something.
"Ms. Tifa, we"re coming up to a place called The Lifestream. And it seems to be surrounded by that glowing green water you were talking about." Tifa looked out the airship window. "This must be the place," she said to herself, "this is where I will found Cloud." She directed the pilot where to land. The plane landed. Tifa, Barrett, and Cait Sith all got out. The rest of the team stay on the plane. They walked inside asking people "had anyone seen someone that they didn't recognize." Then Tifa and her group go to the nurse's clinic. As they ran into the clinic, Cloud is sitting in a wheelchair. Clayton looked at his avatar and noticed something was off. He knew Cloud had lost his mind. But this looked far worse.
"Hello, doctor. I'm looking for my friend. Have you seen him?" At first, the doctor didn't know what she was talking about until he remembered a young man they had found.
"Oh yes. I believe we do. He's in the next room. But let me warn you, his condition is not good." She walked into the next room, all excited to finally have had found Cloud.
"Cloud? Cloud. I'd finally found. Where have you been? Cloud?" Tifa conflicted by the way Cloud was acted. Why was he acting this way? What had happen to him?
"Miss. The problem with your friend is that he spent too much time in the Lifestream." "The Lifestream?" Tifa is thinking. "Oh, he must be talking about the green water we saw the first time escaping the Crater.
"Doctor, exactly what is the Lifestream?"
"The Lifestream is the life energy that flows through everything. People, animals, planets, and stars are made of Lifestream. It is the fabric of the world. It is what sustains the world and everything. It is the force that keeps things moving. It is in everything, every moment. So, it sees and feels everything. It is the collective unconscious of the planet."
"So doctor, what did the Lifestream exactly do to my friend? Why is he acting this way?"
"The Lifestream wants to take control. To help, the mako overtakes the hold of the person. It shows that it is the power of the people. Then the person can go forth and save the world. And that is the part everyone cannot or will not understand. So, it makes itself known by doing this."
"Doctor, what about his eyes?"
"Well, his eyes are due to the mako poisoning. He was in the Lifestream for a significant amount of time."
"Doc, if there any way to cure him?" Tifa would do anything to help Cloud get better. Clayton couldn't sense Cloud anymore. His mind was an empty black pit of darkness. Where ever he was, it was far, far, away from here. But Clayton was just as determined to get Cloud back as Tifa was. But where were they going to start? Where do you go to find someone who has lost himself? It's definitely not the lost and found. They would have to go deeper into Cloud's inner world. Tifa left Cloud for a moment to talk to the doctor about how to help him. Then the team was with the doctor when she asked them all to come back in.
"I'm sorry to worry you. I made a decision. I want to be by Cloud's side. I know other things are happening right now out there. But I can't concentrate on that when Cloud is like this. Go back and keep an eye on it for me. And anything happens, come and let me know." Barrett and Cait Sith knew they couldn't argue over this with Tifa. Once she has made up her mind, there is no changing it. So the team left and got back on the airship.
Tifa sat next to Cloud and just at him.
"Cloud, I don't know if you can hear me or not. But I will stand by your side forever. And I will do whatever it is to get you to come back." And Clayton was thinking the same thing.
