Chapter 14 - The Magic of Alta.

After thoroughly reading and re-reading all 40 of the books in front of him, Axel organized the new knowledge in his head. This is the magic of Alta.

'These books were made over 100 years ago, so some of the knowledge may be outdated Axel,' thought to himself.

Light

Plant: A magic that allows the user to control all of nature depending on their proficiency. Individuals able to use this magic have a strong magic connection to nature. [Strictly --> Flowers, Vines, Grass, Wood.]

Poison: A magic that allows the user to conjure and control poison. Humans are rarely able to use this, and if possible, the human is more than 100% a hybrid/mix of human and dyrad or nature fairy. Mostly used by assassins. Considerably exclusive to dryads and nature fairies.

Virus: A magic moderately known to the mid-leveled humans regardless if they're good or bad. This magic can be used to help and harm people. The user of this magic has to gather materials of the world, and once done, can incorporate the effects of the materials into the magic. For example, if someone can incorporate the effects of grass, which is to grow, into the virus magic and then use it against their opponent, it will cause the grass to grow wherever the magic touched the individual. This magic is highly used by mid/high-leveled individuals, as it is hard to incorporate the effects of a material into magic. Widely used by healers, but also consumes a lot of mana.

Shadow: A magic that allows the user to utilize the powers of shadows. Some experienced and high-leveled assassins use this magic. This magic also lets the user dive into the shadow of practically anything, but the shadow has to be the size of or larger than the user. This magic also becomes significantly more powerful at night. Be careful because if the user is not strong enough, then their own magic can trap them in the Realm of Shadows.

Air: This magic allows the user to fly in the sky, but also consumes a lot of mana.

Holy: This magic is low tier magic that derives from the 'Divine Magic' described in the books. This magic was passed down from the 'Divine Race', specifically from the Angels on the command of the Seraphim. This magic is exclusively used by the high-ranked members of the Church of Rezesm Alta.

Dark: This magic is forbidden, but high-leveled individuals still use this magic. This magic dabbles with Necromancy, Possession, Forbidden Enslavement, and Curses. Due to the incredible attack power of this magic, dozens of medium-sized calamities, hence, becoming forbidden.

Time: This magic is rarely used because of the incredibly small chance of any individual in the world having an affinity with it. Having an affinity with this magic allows the user to look a few seconds into the future, but consumes mana at monstrous speeds. Since the future can change, it will show all routes of what can happen within the few seconds the user looks forward to. When the user becomes a high enough level with a big enough mana pool, they become capable of turning back time within a radius of 3 meters around them. The radius increases based on the user's power. Legends say that the user of this magic can rewind time on themselves, thus, granting them eternal life.

Space: This magic is not as rare as 'Time Magic' but considerably rare. This magic is not usable until the user is considerably mid-leveled. Once the user is strong enough, they can gain authority over the space 5m around them. This magic consumes a considerably high amount of mana, but if the user is a high level, then they can use this magic for up to half a day before needing to regain their mana.

Void: This magic is almost rare as it grants the user a weak magic connection to the void. Individuals with this magic have larger than normal mana pools even at level 1. Not much is known about this magic because the effects are hard to study.

Lava/Magma: A combination of the Fire element and the Earth element. Mostly used by mid-level individuals as it is practically a level up from fire and earth magic.

Ice: A combination of the Water element and the Wind element. Mostly used by approaching mid-level individuals because it is a powerful level up from water and wind magic. Also used by a handful of approaching high-level individuals.

Certain people in the world have been granted their own unique magic, and as only a few have come to be known, there are probably tons of more unique magics.

Psychic: This magic allows the user to move objects and or individuals with their mind, it also causes mental fatigue instead of consuming mana. It also allows the user to control other people, and enslave people. This magic is similar to 'Dark Magic,' but it doesn't cause damage to the opponent, or have the risk of killing the opponent/individual. This magic is popular for slave traders, perverts, and corrupt nobles.

Spider: This magic is certainly odd, as it allows/grants the user the abilities of any and every spider in the world. This magic can become extremely powerful because based on the user's power, it grants the user the capabilities of a spider-type monster that matches their power. There are probably different unique magics with similar attributes but with different monsters, but no other magic similar to this have been recorded.
